Death is hard for children to manage. The death of a parent is uniquely isolating. Other children sometimes react as though mortality is contagious

Intense horror and psychological thriller

It is uncommon for a horror to have a satisfying finale yet Langley provides gratifying and unexpected endings every time. Is She Dead In Your Dreams plays into the fables and mysteries of the fens with spine chilling description which genuinely left me a little afraid to close my eyes at night. It is not only a tale of gruesome horror but also of loss and guilt. The deep emotions felt by Orwell and Shelley are raw and heavy; it’s an accurate portrayal of a grieving father and daughter. I recommend this page turner highly and look forward to what’s coming next from the author!

This book is perfect for those that want to get into something Steven King-esque, but want things to happen a little faster than King’s drawn-out novels. This book was set at the perfect pace for me. It kept me wanting to read, but I didn’t fly through it so fast that I was disappointed it didn’t last longer. It is chilling, thrilling, and captivating.
