Getting your new aprartment painted causes all sorts of problems
Hot and funny short story about a best friends hot dad.
Vanessa is 25 years old and has moved back to her hometown to start a new job teaching English at her old high school. Her new apartment is being painted so she cannot move into it immediately. Instead she is staying with the Dad of her best friend, Genie. Genie was actually the one that arranged for her to stay with him so all is good. However,, Vanessa has had a crush on Noah for years as he is hot.
Noah is 45 year old and is the PE teacher and football coach at the high school. He also likes Vanessa in a NSFW manner. He is also territorial and protective of her even though he knows he cannot touch Vanessa as it would cause major issues with his daughter Genie,
As always Alexia Chase has written a fun and entertaining story with good characters. There were some laugh out loud moments, especially the nosy older female neighbor, and some hot and sizzling chemistry between Noah and Vanessa. This book is written in both Vanessa and Noah's POVs which is nice and engaging as you read their inner dialogues. .

I had fun reading this story about a girl who has had a crush on her best friend's dad living in the same house as him for two weeks.
It was funny sometimes, and some times it was hot. She was staying there because her house was being painted by her landlord and she didn't have any where else to stay. She was going to be starting work soon and it was free. What she didn't know was that he was attracted to her too, but neither one of them knew how his daughter/her best friend would take it if they were together. They tried to fight it, it was a losing cause. Then they found out about why her house was getting painted right now, it made things so much easier.

I enjoy an older man younger woman book when it's done well. I liked that they had an attraction to each other and wanted to avoid it to avoid hurting people but gave in to their love. I also liked that Genie was on bored with their romance. I felt like this was a short story but was really rushed and the chemistry between them was really good I just didn't like the way some of the scenes were described.

This book is superbly written. I love an older man younger woman romance and this story pulled me in from the first page. The characters are strong, mature, know what they want and I could not help but love and root for them. Their chemistry is off the charts, the sex scenes have sparks flying everywhere – together they are the perfect match.

Vanessa needs temporary accommodation whilst her apartment is being painted and so she ends up staying at a friend of her dad’s who also just happens to be the gym teacher from her high school who she had a crush on. The story is good and can be a bit humorous at times, the characters are all likeable. This is a great way to spend an hour.

I enjoyed the whole older man and younger woman romance. Vanessa has always had a crush on her best friend's dad who was a teacher when she was in high school. Now at twenty-five years old, she needs a place to stay while her apartment is getting painted and her friend offers her to stay with her dad. Things gets pretty hot between Vanessa and Noah as they find themselves not being able to keep their hands off of each other.

Loved the in love with my best friends dad trope. Vanessa would give anything to have Noah but not her friendship with genie. Loved their chemistry and back and forth. Mild angst about slight rejection following being together. But they couldn’t last long avoiding each other. Loved how genie played a role in their connection. Hahah and the nosy neighbor.

Short & Sweet
I loved this book! In fact, I don’t think I have ever been disappointed with any of Alexia’s books underwhelmed maybe but never disappointed. Her alpha males are always over the top sexy and the women they fall for are like sandpaper that smooths down his rough edges which is exactly what happened with Noah and Vanessa.

KEEP UP WITH ME is such a fun and flirty read. It evoked all the feels and had my emotions in a tizzy when it comes to Noah and Vanessa. Chase, this quick story was amazing and so well written. Fantastic job! Readers, it you are in need of a great age gap romance, this book is perfect to fill that need. Absolutely loved it. 5 Stars!

Sizzle!
This was a short, spicy read. I immediately loved the characters and enjoyed the build up – which was surprising. I don't normally find a lot of build up in a sure a short story. This was a fun, quick read. Def recommend! My only complaint is that I was left wanting so much more! I'm excited to read from Noah's POV now :)

These are just ok for me. Like most short stories, there is very little depth and vague details so it is hard to get into it. Plus the insta-love thing leaves me just shaking my head.

I started this book on the 17th and finished it the same day. The fact that it took me over a week to mark it as “read” is a testament to how very meh it was. I hate that I spent nearly $3 on it AND the sequel (which is supposed to be from another POV I think). A sequel I will most likely NEVER read. This author has fooled me once, never again.
