Real Men Howl - 3 Stars
Mason is the Alpha of the Blackwood pack. He is on the edge of going feral because he hasn’t found his mate. Lucy grew up in the town, but moved away after her parents were killed. She came back to town because of something that happened at work and is bitten by a pup after saving him from getting hit by a car.
This was a short read. It would have been nice to have more background on the pack as a whole. The whole going feral if you don’t find your mate thing is a little weird. Mason was a little high handed when they met. I liked Charlie, the pup that bit Lucy because he was scared. I did like the story as a whole and look forward to reading more about this pack.

Ally was changed into a wolf against her will while she was at college her Freshman year. She has been moving around for eight years trying to avoid being captured by the one who changed her.
Kade was ordered by Mason, his alpha and brother, to go to Pepper, Georgia and bring Lucy's Grandmother back to Ashwood to live with them. You read about Lucy in book one. She is Mason's mate and also best friend's with Ally.
This was a good romance with a little action thrown in. I loved Ally's character. She is a strong woman to be able to go through what she did and not turn feral. I also liked Kade. He was patient and didn't push Ally to be his mate. I did have a little problem with how things went down though! Kade let something happen to his female out of stupidity. Seriously, if your female is in trouble, you don't leave her alone with no one to guard her! Except for that part of the story, I enjoyed it.

Gavin was sent to Burrman, Georgia by the National Ruling Council to help the remaining members of the Riverson pack relocate to healthy packs. The Alpha of the Riverson pack, Brian, was in custody and awaiting trial for crimes against his pack.
Rachel Fields is the niece of the previous Alpha before Brian murdered him. She has been taking care of her nephew, as her own, for the last six years. Now that Brian is gone, she just wants to live her life with her nephew away from a pack. Things don’t always work out like you want them too.
I enjoyed reading this one, but was a little disappointed about not hearing how the trial went and the outcome. I liked Gavin with Rachel and little Eric and how patient he was with them.

This is a quick read. The blurb is a little different than what actually happens in the book. Drew agrees to help Zeke, Chloe’s brother, before he even meets her. He agrees to help because of the drug that was used on their mother. It also says, “the alpha who snatched him just happens to be Chloe's over-protective big brother”. Well if he was that over-protective he wouldn’t have left Drew in her house alone with her.
I liked knowing Drew’s story, but there’s just something missing. It was all too neat and tidy with how everything happened. And really, during the twenty years their mother was comatose Drew is the only one who thought about how to cure her? It says in the book, “Trina Edgecomb—sister to Warren, the pack beta. She was whip smart and had cared for Zeke and Chloe’s comatose mother for years. Drew couldn’t think of a better person to assist him with the case.” Well if she was so “whip smart” she could have figured it out with how easy it was to come up with a solution! I actually rolled my eyes when I read what happened with their mother. It was supposed to be emotional, but for me it just wasn’t.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of the bundle.
