Save yourself a pointless slog of 150 pages, and just read the 5 page summary in Part IV at the end. There is literally nothing in this book you haven't heard before. The first suggestion to become more motivated is to "just do it!" (Gee, why hadnt i thought of that?? Its almost as if I had a substantial enough slump that I decided to read a self-help book on motivation, but now that I know I could have just decided to do it. . . what insight!)

If you like vague platitudes and empty pep talks, then you might enjoy this book, but if you're interested in well-supported, persuasive writing, look elsewhere. This book was the equivalent of hearing your well-meaning but clueless aunt cheerfully insist that her positive thoughts and clever catchphrases are the same thing as useful advice. 2 stars, because while there is nothing new of value here, the suggestions are at least reasonable for the topic (although if you've gotten to the point of reading this book, you've probably already tried most of them)

I love this book. Although almost all advice presented in this book are not really new to me, it still gives me very useful tools. If you lack of motivation, perhaps this book can help you.

Super Great Motivational Book

I'm definitely not big on reading. I haven't read a book since high school and that was probably 14 years ago. I started my own business and need to do some CORE components daily to be able to achieve my goals and life values. Reading was one of the biggest challenges I've faced starting my new venture. I needed some kind of motivation to keep me going. I found this book and decided I should try to read a motivational book, see if that will help me out. I'm proud of myself for actually reading the entire book and even took some notes for future reference. I can actually say that this book helped me out immensely. I'm way more motivated than a week ago, have big future plans that I can fight through to achieve, and will definitely start reading everyday to better my knowledge. I want to thank Mr. Meurisse for this easy to understand motivational book that is changing the way I look at everyday life and all the challenges that I'm going to face in my future. I'd highly suggest this book for anyone having doubts about themselves or just need an extra push in life

Really resonated

I have read a lot of self-help books over the years, but this series has really spoken to me. I started with Master Your Emotions(a steal at 99 cents) and having just finished reading Crucial Accountability and Crucial Conversations.

Both books speak a lot about the stories we tell, and how it effects our communication skills. Thibaut discusses other aspects of how our stories shape our reality and it was a profound synchronicity for me. When the student is ready the master will appear, amirite?

Looking forward to the other three books in the series. Unsure why Focus isn’t in KU though...

I absolutely adored "Master Your Motivation"! This amazing book came into my life at the right time, providing the necessary guidance to break free from my stagnant state and take decisive action towards achieving my goals. Thibaut Meurisse skillfully presents the intricate psychology behind motivation, articulating and captivatingly. Alongside his insightful explanations, he equips readers with practical tools and exercises instrumental in mastering one's cause.

One chapter that struck a chord with me centred around building momentum and nurturing sustained motivation over the long haul. Meurisse's guidance in this area is invaluable, offering effective strategies and actionable advice to keep the cause alive and thriving.

"Master Your Motivation" is not merely a compilation of theories; it serves as a comprehensive guide, assisting readers in applying these theories to their lives. Whether you seek to enhance productivity, happiness, or overall success, this book is the ultimate resource to elevate your potential. In fact, it is a suitable read, even for younger individuals aspiring to cultivate self-motivation and fulfil their dreams.

In conclusion, this book has had a profound impact on my life. It has provided me with the necessary knowledge, tools, and inspiration to transcend my limitations and embrace a motivated, purposeful existence. I wholeheartedly recommend "Master Your Motivation" to anyone yearning for a substantial boost in personal growth and achievement.

What I needed

For a while, I felt stuck. I felt accomplished in my 47 years but have been in a routine that made me anxious, uneasy and just bored. I couldn't figure out why until I found my answers using this guide. I took his advice and implemented these steps to assist me reach my next level.

We're all human and works in progress. Although it's up to us to figure out our end goal, this book really helps in lighting that fire. It's up to you to keep the fire going.

I like how this is delivered in short sharp and simple chapters, so it’s very digestible, especially if you listen to it as an audio book on the move or whilst doing something else e.g laundry, hair care etc, going for a walk.

I personally found the book extremely useful, how to get motivated again if you’ve lost track or focus, especially after having gone through trauma. I found it an upbeat self-help section full of promise and optimism. Most importantly it reminds us all to give ourselves grace and to be kind to ourselves and others in the process of continual self-improvement.

I liked that certain sections require you to pause and think differently about a subject when the author asks a few challenging questions - it almost felt like a bit of coaching taking place as only you have the answers within you and these questions help bring them out of you.

I recommend that if you read this book and genuinely want to be changed by it then you take notes. Take notes about key points but also when questions are asked so that you finish the book with a sort of life plan of action.

I will looking to return to this book again if ever become ‘stuck’ again or in a slump.

Master of Procrastination

I had gotten into this series from an older one on motivation (And being a completionist, I had to start form the first book and work here).

I have a habit of not writing things down and just assuming that I will absorb the information somehow. But this is not how you do it.

Things you want to remember you need to write down, you need to be obsessed about until it sticks in your head.

This book has presented so many ideas I want to remember, so much so that I wrote about 13,000 words of things I wanted to remember.

I whole heartedly recommend this book, if you are struggling to find motivation or are lost in your life and need grounding.

Awesome Read

This book helped me to realize that I often have negative self talk with myself, which often results in me not being motivated. This book has supplied me with some useful strategies to turn the table on some of my unwanted habits. I have implemented several things in this book with has helped me. This book is a great guide to helping you unstick yourself and get you moving in the right direction.

This was the best motivational, inspirational, self help book I’ve read. I usually can’t get into this genre but I found this book was easy to read, fun, and realistic. I really enjoyed the challenges throughout. I got so much done while reading this book that I probably wouldn’t have done before or would have done at a much slower pace. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a motivational book that doesn’t bore you.

This book actually changed my life. I love how the author focuses on habit building and what effects it has on you.

A lot of advice in this book are things we’ve all heard before, but I think the author does a fantastic job of actually helping you put those things into action. Just do what the book tells you and you will get moving in no time.

It is easy to read and relatively short. Some aspects were ok but for the rest nothing really new. Still if I had to recommend a book about motivation, this one could be one. It has a lot of practical activities to go through the process.

Really a master of motivation :)

I was able to digest the book in two days. I love the realizations of taking action and not just focusing on results which usually are reasons on giving up which I do relate to.
