Logan’s boss warned him this job was unusual, but he wasn’t expecting the client to be an upbeat drag queen with a strip of pink lace showing above the waistband of his jeans. Logan’s straight, but he’s left trying not to think about how nice Ashley’s butt is while he pretends he’s got this bodyguarding thing all figured out—despite having no experience with this kind of situation.
Ashley has a stalker, and he’s run out of options for escape. The only thing he can do is pack up his life in San Francisco and move back to his Arizona hometown. At his grandma’s insistence, Logan’s there to protect him until he can make it to safety. A strictly professional relationship.
But one drunken kiss leads to a sober one, and the more time Ashley spends with Logan the harder he is to resist.
To Logan’s surprise, he’s starting to feel the same way.
With the threat of the stalker hanging over them and Ashley’s moving date approaching, can they figure out their feelings for each other in time?
Glittered is the third book in the Guardian Angels Security series, but it can be read alone. It features a HEA, as well as: pink lacy underwear, a heart-shaped waxing job, multiple drag queens, drunken kissing, sober kissing, a dwarf lop rabbit, steamy sex scenes, a latent bisexual awakening, and true love conquering all.
Sean Ashcroft likes rainy days, white hot chocolates (don't knock it 'til you've tried it!) and boys kissing in books. He currently resides in Australia, all the way down at the bottom of the mainland in a sleepy little seaside town.
He writes sweet, hot books about sweet, hot boys who absolutely deserve each other.
***** #3 Guardian Angels Security, by Sean Ashcroft. We meet Ashley, aka Arizona Tease, 27, while he's getting ready for a show with Ivy Drip, Helena Handbasket and more, when his stalker sent another crushing message to Ashley. He calls his steady rock, his Gramdma, and she hires a bodyguard. Logan, 30s ex-Ranger, scarred... with a heavily repaired leg, is the friend of Gray and Fox. Logan meets with Ashley at the Twinkle Club, where the straight man first sees Ashley's cute butt in pink lace panties. We get lots of sass, a heart shaped pubic trim, pretty make-up and nails and lots of fun.
Logan takes the crazy group of drag queens in his stride. Logan makes Ashley feel safe immediately. Ahley wants to be sure his friends are protected, so he decides to go back to Arizona, where Gramdma is, but also his not-so-nice family is. We see the tearful goodbyes, and the trip with Logan escorting him home. On the trip they get frisky and it's first time M/M sexiness for exploring Logan. He's never wanted a man before, so we have a GFY, gay-for-you theme, alomg with the bigger/smaller, and slight age difference.
I liked our men right away and their relaxed, sarcastic, banter is cute. Each man is falling deeply for the other. Logan's scars do not repulse Ashley, and it's a terrific journey we get to see. We want them to solve the mystery and move forward. Logan and Ashley's sexy times are extemely hot, open, accepting and lively.
Each has doubts that they deserve what they are experiencing for the first time in their lives. Is it too good to be true? They each want the other to be as desperate as they are for the emotions of love. Logan is protective, while Ashley is a bright and shiny persona, but all man. The stalker is a surprise to everyone.
There is a fantastic ending, and epilogue. I highly recommed the whole series, but each book can stand alone. ENJOY !
Simply sweet. At this point in my life (and my reading) I actively search out safe havens offering kindness, sweetness, compassion, and warmth — all traits presented by the MCs in this lovely story.
Both MCs were such sweethearts; they treated each other with gentle kindness and compassion. It truly warmed my heart. These are nice souls who delight in bringing smiles and giddy feelings to each other. Absolutely adorable watching them discovering all the lovable things they treasure about their partner.
This book was like a snuggly warm blanket, and it made me feel all cozy and comforted.
*Note: this story is book 3 in a series, but I started with it and it reads fine as a stand-alone. Now, I’m looking forward to going back and reading about the other delightful secondary characters as they tell their own love stories.
I absolutely loved this book. The reader meets Logan in Guarded and Gifted. His was the story I was most eager to read. Unlike the first two books that had so-called mysteries that were laughable (seriously... you knew who the bad guy was right off), Glittered kept me guessing. I was convinced I knew who it was but I was wrong. I call that a win.
I also call Logan and Ashley a big win. They're so perfect for each other. I've seen reviews where it's described as a gay-for-you storyline with Logan. I disagree. I think it's more out-for-you. Anybody who saw him in the other books knew he was into men as well as women, even if he didn't realize it at the time.
Great characters. A great story. A fantastic book.
This is a three book series and for me book 3 is the best....although I am hoping we may get more Guardian Angels in the future! Logan and Ashley are fantastic together Ashley has given up on ever finding someone who will love him completely for who he is..until Logan who is more than willing to do this, even if this means a change of lifestyle for him. He quickly realises Ashley is everything he never knew he wanted, throws caution to the wind and fully embraces being with Ashley. But they were always up against a time limit and as time runs out so does their hope, will Logan be able to walk away, will Ashley survive back in his home town without Logan and glitter? The two things he loves most in the world and both are forbidden! This book is packed full of drama, glitter, steamy sex, glitter, protective drag queens, more glitter, a feisty granny, laughter, discovery, glittery eye shadow, steamy showers and possibly a touch of glitter! But that's ok, glitter is forever!
This book is so sugary sweet, it's adorbs. Little slower burn than the others, but I'm a fan of the gay for you trope so the mental freakout parts are fun to read. There's no action in this one, not a single person gets punched in the face, which I guess is a little disappointing because, hello, bodyguard. Manties plus the whole straight boy thing makes for some swoon-worthy sex scenes, which kept me reading cuz the plot was a little meh. One typo and a couple wierd sentence breaks, not too shabby.
Needing a Bodyguard because he was receiving threats for more than 10 months. Worried his friends would get hurt, making the decision to leave the city and the life he loved because of it. Logan the bodyguard, didn't know what hit him when he saw the man in lace underwear. These two men just scream at you to keep reading even if your eyes are hurting from lack of sleep
This was such a sweet story. Love that there was minimal angst and the relationship developed so naturally it didn’t feel like insta-love which I was worried it might have.
I just love Sean Ashcroft 's books there is always an amazing happy ending! His characters are so wonderful I never want the books to ends. Ashley and Logan are my absolute favorite in this series even though I loved them all.
-army ranger turned cinnamon roll bodyguard -bi awakening -drag queen with a stalker -ashley, monarch of the boyfriend hoodies -the sweetest grandma -'my car broke down so i can't leave, oops!'
CW: stalking, pain management, difficult family relationships
This book is sooooo good. I thought I couldn’t love anyone as much as I loved Fox and Quinn (book 2) but I was wrong! I love the combination of beautiful, bright Ashley, so alive and so scared, and steady, adorable Logan who is just so kind and lovely. And a creepy creepy stalker, so another little mystery for the Guardian Angels. As always, the background cast are fabulous - Ashley’s friends and Granma are especially fun. I’ll always want more of Gray and Fox, but we got a bit of them and how cute the three are as friends and that’s great. Recommended to read in order but this would work without having read the other two. Loved it.
Ashley has a stalker, someone who knows him well. He’s so afraid, he quits his day job and leaves his life with friends and drag queen shows to return to his stifling hometown and family.
His grandmother hires Logan to be his bodyguard, and Logan sees the light that is Ashley. He can’t hide his interest, and as they prepare Ashley to go home, they fall in love. The return home brings all the trouble of Ashley’s family, a resolution to the stalker situation, and a well deserved happy ending.
Fun peek into the world of drag, and a good story to boot. I had no idea who the stalker was, an interesting twist.
I haven't read the previous books but could easily read it as a standalone. I loved Logan, he's just the perfect package of good, sexy and protective and Ashley deserved every bit of him. And Ashley is so vibrant, colourful and full of joy that he brings that extra glitter into Logans wordl and i just wish we would have gotten a bit more of Arizona Tease.
I'm really curious about Logans friends after the group chat and wedding and will go straight for the first book after this.
Bi awakenings aren't my thing but hot damn, did I love this book. Ashley is just the absolute best and so is Logan (is there a sweeter human in life or fiction? I don't think so). I adore Gabe and the whole crew. So very glad I stumbled upon this series because it has brought me so much joy. The whole thing is definitely going on my comfort re-reads list.
this and all future re-reads: Logan is too pure for this world.
I always enjoy Sean's writing, but this was my favourite yet. I like that one of the leads was a little more gender non-conforming than usual, and I liked that there was no big drama around Logan realising his attraction. Maybe there could be a trans character in a future book?
This is the first book I’ve read by the author and it’s definitely not going to be my last.
Ashley was beautiful so it didn’t come as a surprise when Logan found himself drawn to him. Logan drooling after seeing Ashley in his sexy lace panties made me laugh. These two gorgeous men had great chemistry.
Great characters, fantastic story and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
I love the way Seth Ashcroft brought the characters together. Ashley has a stalker. Logan is from Guardian Angels Security hired to help protect & serve. Loved their chemistry. Story was equal parts romance & hot sex. *I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book for an honest opinion*
😀 I had a smile on my face as I read GLITTERED’s final chapter which let me see that Logan and Ashley were definitely traveling on the road that would lead to their much-deserved happily ever after. 💕
This was a light-hearted, sweet romance which hit all the right buttons for me. Both of the main characters were low angst and treated each other with kindness. It was a nice change of pace!
I just loved Ashley and Logan. I loved that they were free to be exactly who they are with each other. I love that this book had drag queens! Also, it showcased so many types of people and sexuality. I loved the family of friends in this series and I’m so sad it’s over.
I absolutely loved this series! All the books were amazing! This one was my favorite tho. Ive never read a book with a drag queen & i found i loved it! Yeah ill deff be reading more books like this!
Logan & Ashley are so sweet & beautiful together. Love Logan's protective care for Ashley. This book just made me smile so much. Wanted it to go on & on. Just hate saying good-bye to them!
I loved every single book in this series! I hope we get to read more of all the guys in the future. Loved Logan and Ashley! I couldn't put the book down. Such great writing and sweet love with a mystery.
I loved it. A stalker, a hot bodyguard and and a drag queen, what isn't to love? Ashley was sweet and Logan , confused... latent bisexuality, Ashley certainly captured his imagination. A great series.
