I really enjoyed this book, #4 in the series. I was happy to return to Blossom Street and the original cast of characters. The author did a good job of bringing the new ladies into the mix. The only issue, and it's all on me!, is that I sometimes have to stop and think about who I am actually reading about. The cast of characters has grown, and my brain gets confuzzled. But that's on me, not the author. She does a great job of reminding the reader of what happened in previous books, and I greatly appreciate that. All in all, I'm enjoying this series. On to #5!
I really enjoyed my visit to Blossom street. It's just a feel good cozy up with a cup of cocoa kind of read. Plus it convinced me how much I've missed my needles, working on a couple projects now...I want to use a couple of the included patterns soon as well. Prayer shawl for grandma coming right up!
Debbie Macomber is my favorite brain cleanse after reading dark fiction. Her stories are always uplifting and I love how she shows kindness and support can change the lives of people. This series is fun in that it's a whole community growing and working together.
