Another action packed installment in the Screaming Demons MC series! The author pulled me in and kept me turning the pages with all the twists, turns and danger as she continues this thrilling read. I'm looking forward to the next book.

The sixth book in the Screaming Demons MC series, the tale of Fiona and Grier concludes. Rough Road is a fast-paced romance with a great mix of drama, twists, danger, heartbreak, betrayal, non-stop action, treachery, and so much more.

A Chaotic Final Ride That Could Have Been One Good Book
With the sixth installment, we finally close out the second trilogy of the series. The first couple is settled, and now the second couple reaches their version of a happy ending, but the road to get there is… well, full of plot holes big enough to drive the entire MC through.

The female main character is an absolute mess in this book. She knows she’s in danger, she knows there are bad guys after her, and yet she keeps forgetting that tiny little detail and making decisions that are not only reckless but sometimes feel borderline intentionally harmful. She comes across as whiny, self-centered, and just… exhausting. Every bad decision puts herself and the baby at risk, and the main male character is left cleaning up behind her again and again. A lot of unnecessary cleaning, if you ask me.

The male main character, at least, seems a bit more put together this time around. And towards the end, we get the introduction of the leads for the next trilogy — although honestly, after this one, I’m not sure yet whether I want to dive into more chaos.

And that’s the word for this book: chaos. The plot still jumps around, the pacing still stutters, and the logic still wanders off on its own adventures. And yet… this time, I had the tiny feeling that the author improved just a little in terms of plot structure and character consistency. Emphasis on tiny. The story is still stretched thin — honestly, if the entire trilogy had been condensed into one book, it would’ve been significantly stronger and less “chewing gum” stretched.

Still, we do get a definitive happy ending for this couple, and that at least feels satisfying.

Will I continue the series? I genuinely don’t know. It’s a wild mess — but I can’t deny it’s also weirdly entertaining, even if sometimes only as a bad example of storytelling.

MMC/FMC- Grier and Fiona
POV- 3rd person
Genre- MC Romance
Heat- 🌋🌋🌋🌋. Would be higher, but it took a long time.
Series? Y. 3rd in trilogy, 6th in series.
Safety: Nope. No cheating, though and a HEA.
Triggers- More triggery than Roy Rogers. Graphic Violence, Torture, Branding, Attempted S.A., Explicit Erotic Content, Language, Child Endangerment, Kidnapping.
Tropes- Marriage of Convenience, Club Princess, Madam President, Badsass Heroine (Amazon has a liberal policy in regards to what is profanity), He Needs Killin’.
Can we talk about: The cover. It doesn’t look like his description.
Can we also talk about: trilogies. These three books could easily have been edited down into two, or a long single title. Dragging a story out into three books shows lazy editing and possibly a money grab.
What I thought- the heroine was a captive for waaay too long. It got pretty boring. Then again, I’m not a fan of torture
P rn. Things did pick up in the second half, and there the pacing was good. I like the relationship between the MMC and FMC. They have their ups and downs, as well as their moments of frustration and moments of joy. At the base of the relationship is a strong love. The zexytime scenes, when they finally started happening, were super hawt.
Verdict- should definitely have been edited better, but very readable.

Rough Road is book 6 of Screaming Demons MC and the final book for Fiona and Grier's story. Grier believes that home is where Fiona is at, and even though people are wanting Grier dead. He is happy to see anyone try to even kill him, however, when they threaten the woman he loves who is pregnant with his child it makes his blood boil. Grier didn't know that it was feasible for someone like him to love someone so deeply. This is all I'm going to say about any details of this book because I find that it to be more fun to find out for oneself what occurs between the main characters. I absolutely love the different emotions that author Summer uses throughout this story that gives life to the characters. I'm looking forward to reading the story of Mia and Sage just like I did with the first six books of this series. I would highly suggest this series for people to check out and give them a good read and develop their own opinions about the series.

Fiona and the baby are kidnapped before she makes it on the plane to Belize. Grier continues his hunt for Tyler not knowing that he already has his family captive. Fiona does what she needs to in order for her and the baby to be safe. However Tyler starts beating on her when things don't go his way. When Grier learns that his family is missing and that Tyler has them he is furious. Grier has learned some things about his past and before he can fully deal with them his chance is taken from him. Will Grier be able to save his family? What happens to Fiona and the baby?

This is an emotional roller coaster book that has so many twists and surprises that I couldn't put it down once I started it. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I can't wait to read more by these authors. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

I voluntarily read and reviewed this book for Bad Boy Update.

This amazing MC romance was a pleasure to read & it certainly kept my attention. The continuation from “Rough Patch #5” into “Rough Road #6” is smooth & flawless. The plot is filled with intrigue & suspense as a MC rider (Grier) is determined to protect & even kill for his wife (Fiona) & her baby (London) who are in danger from despicable villains.
There is: MC riders, club rivalry, FBI, twists & turns, action, adventure, drama, suspense, mystery, secrets, deceit, distrust, threats, danger, enemies, violence, conflict, treachery, murder, torture, abduction, heartache, emotional turmoil, decisions, fear, guilt, verbal conflict, confrontations, vengeful feelings, blazing guns, surprises, contentment, steamy scenes, happiness & well-deserved satisfying conclusion for this couple with a interesting ending that is paving the way for the next book in the series with a different couple I look forward to the next book with great anticipation.

This is a really great MC series: makes the reader fall in love with both hero and heroine. It makes one not wonder why only orphans and those born into the life choose it; just too much dangerous action and love between brothers whose lives are always on the line. This sixth book starts with Fiona and newborn London being kidnapped; the plane taking them to escape to Belize lands in Florida in Grier's bastard brother Sedodal's Omen MC territory. Fiona proves herself over and over, suffering terrible abuse, while she takes names and makes lists of how she will make them suffer. The reader wonders if she ever will get her revenge while two long-time stars in the series suffer ultimate death in the war between the clubs. Grier is the center of the war while Fiona and London are the consummate pawns! Sedodal is the cat with nine lives; he keeps escaping certain end to make more trouble keeping the reader on edge!

The action and danger in the lives of Grier and Fiona continue in this fast paced storyline. Just when you think they might get a break, Fiona and baby London are kidnapped from the plane that was supposed to fly them to safety and back to Belize while Grier hunts Tyler. Despite all of Grier's best laid plans, Tyler continues to wreck havoc against the Screaming Demons and escapes all of Grier's attempts to track him down and rescue his family. There are many sad and shocking moments in this book with the deaths of several strong secondary characters. Just when the story was coming to an end and I was forcing myself to come to terms with a fact that this might be the end of a great series, we get a glimpse of a new couple and a storyline that promises that we might get to see more of Grier, Fiona and all the other Demons we have grown to love. I can't wait to see what journey Summer Cooper and Sienna Chance will take us on next.

I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest and totally voluntary review.

All of the drama, intrigue and danger continues with Rough Road #6 as Grier and Fiona will have to deal with all of the chaos that is happening with the latest turn of events set in motion by Tyler Saditol. Emotions will be on high elert within the brotherhood and Grier as now the Screaming Demons have to get back one of their own. Fiona true to her father's legacy is a force not to be taken lightly as this feisty, sassy woman is determined to lead her club and end Tyler once an for all but will Grier allow her to do this on her own? As the story progresses, Grier and Fiona has to deal with a betrayal of trust, deceit and murder as friends will be lost. Will the events that are taken place end this threat and will Grier and Fiona finally get the revenge that is needed so these two can have a life and be a true family without the constant threat of danger? Summer Cooper has done an extraordinary job telling this story which by far is the best in the series. So looking forward to Sage and Mia's story which is going to one that will be a suspenseful one. Bring On Sage...  Please

Tell me what you like.  Do you like gorgeous men on two wheels?  Do you like men, who fight, with everything they have, for what is right?  Or how about a Brotherhood, so strong, nothing can break it?

Ms. Cooper has created an action packed Series, that is absolutely riveting, to the point where you cannot put your e-reader down.  You just have to see what happens next, and you will not be happy, until you do.

Should you love MC romances, that are completely l riveting and come complete with intriguing storylines, then you have found it right here, within these golden pages.

I was beyond fortunate to have requested an advanced reader's copy of Rough Road in exchange for my honest and voluntarily given opinion.

In case you can not tell, I highly recommend reading this book, as well as the Series as a whole.

This book continues with all the drama, danger, and Fiona and Grier still trying to do the dance of their relationship.
I love these two, both are strong and willful and only want to protect the other.
Fiona is torn between not wanting anything to do with the club and the current so she can protect London and heal from her wounds and carrying on the club her father started and getting her revenge.
Grier wants to get his brother and make him pay for what he did to his mom, Fiona and London, but with each passing incident believes he is letting Fiona down and the club.
These two need to work together and trust each other and their loyalty to each other.
These is sadness in this book. I was sad to see one of the MC die.
I look forward to Mia and Sage's story. Is she good or bad?

So far this series has followed two of the Screaming Demons MC men finding their ways past the darkness they had through the club. Kye and Eliana found their place in Belize. Grier and Fiona stabilize their home. While doing so we learn who Grier’s birth parents were and there are twists and turns that follow. As their story goes, all I have to say is that Fiona is an idiot who makes bad decisions despite others trying to work with her and she put her life at so many risks before during and after having her baby. Bad guy keeps getting away because she just stops paying attention to what is going on. The series continues following Sage and Mia, but I feel like there was a good ending. The presence of Mia in this book is enough that I am not driven to read the next. At least right now.

Sending Fiona and his daughter to Belize to keep them safe, Grier is looking for Sedotal so he can bring his family home for good. But when he finds out that she never reached Belize, Grier will do anything he can to find his wife and daughter. All Sedotal wants is for Grier to give himself up and then he will become the leader of the 2 clubs with Fiona and Grier’s baby at his side. When Grier figures out that Mia (Hell Kat) leaked information to the Omens, he places her and Sage (he was always protective of her) in the cells.

So many twists in this story! Grier finds out who his mother really is and why he was given up. He also finds out who his father is and that he has a half-brother! It’s one big family reunion that Grier doesn’t want a part of. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This book is packed with action, danger, and romance. I was on the edge of my seat throughout the book. When I thought I knew what was going to happen, I was thrown for a loop. This is an awesome book. It's the 6th of MC series. Grier and Fiona have been through hell but their love for each other is helping them. When Grier puts Fiona and London on a plane to Belize to keep them safe, Grier went to look for Sedotal. Unbeknown to Grier, the plane his wife and daughter were on was rerouted to Florida where they were kidnapped. Fiona was tortured. Will Grier find his wife and child before it's too late? Grab this book today. You will definitely enjoy it. I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

‘Rough Road’ is like a roller coaster named Fiona and Grier. Their relationship really had some ups and some downs that seemed entirely too hard to get through. All the ups, downs, twists and turns that this book has. You’ll want to never put this book down.
The chemistry between Fiona and Grier’s and their relationship with the different characters in this book. It’s like you’re standing so close to them, you can feel the breath on your neck.

I’m DEFINITELY looking forward to seeing Sage’s story.

This is books 6 in the Screaming Demons MC series and it is the conclusion of the Grier and Fiona thread. To say that Fiona has been through hell is putting it mildly. Grier’s guilt for not being able to protect her and London is eating him alive. The death of a major MC character is heartbreaking and such a shock. The action is nonstop! In fact, there’s so much happening that the climax is quick and almost gets lost in at all.

I was extremely disappointed in the Jez part of the story line. It didn’t make ANY sense for it to end the way it did. All in all, it’s a great, exciting and action packed story line with fantastic characters. Looking forward to the next one.

This book just about wrecked me! The suspense and action were pretty much nonstop. And then there was the unexpected/unfortunate happenings (I don’t want to give anything away) that left me in tears.
If you thought Fiona was tough as nails before she had London, just wait to see her mama bear fierceness come through! My heart broke for Grier. On top of having his girls kidnapped, he struggled with the guilt of not being there to protect them.
I loved this series so much and I do not want it to end!!! Hopefully we’ll be getting a book(s) on Sage!

This is the sixth book in the Screaming Demons MC Series and continues Fiona and Grier's story. The book is well written, easy to read and a page turner. The characters just get stronger, more interesting and more complex. The danger and drama intensify in this fast paced book that's overflowing with action. This book will have you on the edge of your seat as you deal with murder, kidnapping, revenge, sabotage, heartbreak and more emotion than you can imaging. Gripping as the story of Fiona and Grier comes to an end. I read and arc and voluntarily chose to review. This is one book you don't want to miss.

I received the ARC from Bad Boy Update. WHOA! What a great end to their story line...for now! Fiona reluctantly agrees to leave town with their baby. Grier assumes Fiona and London are on the beach in Belize, until he gets a call from Kye. Grier is out for blood and will not let anything or anyone stand in his way of finding his family. Tyler is making his move, against Grier and his own father. Now all the secrets are out Fiona and Grier will not let anyone get in the way of their family and their MC. I couldn't read this fast enough...it was such a fabulous way to end their story...at least for now!

I wish I could give this book and the series so far a 5 star but there is just to much that seems to be left out. It skips from one thing to another without telling how it got there. It just felt like there was to much of the story left out. I really liked Grier ( I liked KYE better though), but I got to where I just didn't care for Fiona. Seemed she was always thinking mostly of herself and whined to much. This is just my opinion and I know we probably all do that from time to time but, she just didn't seem as tough as she thought she was. I’m really trying to get through this series but not sure how the last 3 books are going to Be much better.

Fiona and London were missing, Grier was determined to find them and put an end to the one that did it. Fiona was determined to survive through the abuses she faced, Grier had lost the mother he just found and was not going to lose the two woman he lost.

This part of Fiona and Grier's saga is filled with danger, heart break, strength as Grier and Fiona are determined to do what needs to be done keep each other safe and start their lives over again. It keeps you on the edge as the danger and suspense is at every turn of the page.

I loved this captivatingly dangerous new MC romance from Summer Cooper. Grier is on a race against time to save Fiona and their daughter from Tyler and his father before it's too late. Fiona is a strong woman who has been emotionally broken yet fights to keep her family safe and run the Screaming Demons MC. Rough Road is a must read filled with danger, torture, loss, heartache, fear, guilt, laughter, passion, and love. I can't wait for the release of Mia and Sage's story.

Heart Warming & Heart Breaking:

WOW and the saga continues where book 5 left off. There are more twists and turns around every corner, suspense, drama, betrayal with the club. Fiona & Grier have their hands full. Fiona and the baby are in danger will they ever be safe? This book has a mixture of all emotions that will have you on the edge of your seat and you will not be able to put it down page after page until you are finished reading it.. How will it end? Pick it up and read it for your self, it does not disappoint.

The love, the passion, the ride

That Tyler was a slippery so and so.
By the end I wanted to at least shoot him in thr leg to keep him from running again.
I thought Kye and Eli were intense and seemed like they would never find peace. They had nothing on Grier and Fiona. After going through so much loss, the fact that they were both still standing strong, together, was amazing to me.
Their love, passion and drive for eachother was uncomparable.
I would highly recommend.
Happy reading!

This seamlessly picks up on Grier and Fiona action packed lives. Grier continues his hunt for Tyler not knowing that his family is captive. Storyline is an emotional roller coaster with fear, loss, grief, secrets, deceit, abduction, abuse, murder, decisions made, heartbreak, surprises, steam, and happiness. Well-deserved conclusion is well deserved. It gives us a glimpse of a new couple’s story. Recommend reading series in order.

This book started slow and picked up quite quickly, it was quite dark in parts so maybe be aware of content warnings before reading. There are 3 more books in the series but I’m not sure I will end up reading them. I feel like for me this series has come to an end. The first 3 books were about kye and Eli, the 3 I just finished were about Fiona and Grier. The last 3 are about sage and Mia but I’m not sure I want to read them. I was struggling a bit to get through these books because they felt so drawn out. I did enjoy this book though!
