ARC BOOK REVIEW
Release Date-8/5/18

So this was essentially a very well written good read and though in my opinion, you can definitely read this as a standalone; I do think that on a whole you would probably get more from this if you read the whole series from the start.
For me, this was my first experience with this particular author and it was a mostly positive endeavour.
There were just a few minor irritants, that were mainly just personal preferences and I will explain further later.
So as I said earlier this was a really good read.
It contained very relatable characters that were extremely easy to bond with.
A great supporting cast.
Was told from duel pov, which is my absolute favourite and just works for me.
It also managed to read as a stand-alone without the information overload that some series seem to convey in an effort to make it such.
I was easily caught up in the narrative here and ultimately most importantly equally invested in the eventual outcome.
Now for my minuses; I'm not a big fan of a certain popular romance trope used here and I wasn't aware initially that "Intimate Intuition" featured this particular trope at its very centre.
Obviously, not the author's fault: so really should be commended on the engrossing read this is as I still enjoyed this heaps and usually this trope is like a red flag to a bull for me and turns me right off.
I also wasn't a big fan of some of the dialogue used here.
I'm not sure in real life if this way of talking and slang is what is most often used.
having zero exposure to this culture I'm commenting blind here people
But, I just wasn't a big fan of the whole baby-mama etc talk, wasn't my bag at all.
I also felt the first half of this story was overly featured on the whole moving forward thing and I would maybe have liked more focus on Dara and Silas again just my personal preference.
So despite my personal aversion to the trope used here I still found this a great fascinating read.
I was quite intrigued with the whole aura reading, yoga and meditation angle.
Never having any exposure to this type of experience I found it rather compelling and fascinating reading.
Not sure I'm an actual convert yet but it definitely added an extra dimension and unique flavour to the whole entire story.
And I should also mention this was a very emotional read with plenty of personal growth but also red-hot scenes of intimate connection for both Dara and Silas.
Surprisingly this was a lot more action-filled than I was expecting.
But I was on the fence a bit to whether this was actually necessary or added much to the book.
Got to say know "Intimate Intuition" has one of my favourite ever epilogues as its finale.
Really adored that.
So swings and roundabouts folks.
This was at its centre a great read, but I still had some slight reservations that managed to pull it down a bit for me.
I am still happy to recommend this especially if you're looking for a romance that's packed with emotional baggage but also still has a willingness for personal growth.
Thank You to the Author for providing me with an ARC of "Intimate Intuition (Lotus House #6)" of which I have reviewed voluntary.
All opinions expressed are entirely my own.

I absolutely love finding books that has the hero treating the heroine like their queen. It's why I read romance to see a man truly appreciate the woman in his life. It's like crack for me and I don't care what else is in the book if the author provides this. The good thing is the author gave us a great story line as well.

Silas was amazing with Dara. Don't get me wrong, he's not perfect. He suffered a major loss in his life and he is still grieving. He does struggle with letting go and the guilt over starting fresh but when he is with Dara, he is incredibly good to her. I LOVED it! He called her his Queen and treated her like one.

Dara was a great heroine as well. I will admit, the yoga aspect of this story and her being able to read everyone's aura was different for me. But it was also kind of fascinating. I wish I could read everyone's aura.

I have to mention, this had one of the sweetest endings. I won't spoil anything but it had one of the best scenes for closure on a book. Total aww factor!

This is my first read of Audrey Carlan but if this is how she writes her couples, I will be devouring this series. ARC provided by Author.

“Set you loss free.”

So here is the scoop – Silas is the owner of a music production company. Silas is a nice guy - kind, loyal, handsome and sexy and obviously uber rich. On the outside, Silas seems all put together and have it all but on the inside, he is broken. Silas has been through hell and back (well the verdict is still out on the “back” part). He has lost a big part of his life and is still suffering and struggling to move on. The heroine Dara is quirky, feisty, sexy, and gorgeous. She is a yoga/meditation instructor at Lotus house and also owns a little bakery next door. Dara met Silas through a mutual friend Atlas. The two hit it off right away and ended up having a passionate one-night stand. Dara thought she had a good time and would not be seeing much of the hot man again but boy, did she get a little more than she bargained for.

“Be the love he earns when he lets go of all the loss.”

Couple of things … I love the plot. It caught my attention right away with Dara snooping around Silas house and finding out a few things she did not expect. I like the emotional story of Silas’s past and how he evolved and healed his heart – he so deserved happiness and love in his life. I adore Dara. She, too has a bit of a sad past but thankfully was loved and turned out to be an independent, strong, caring and genuinely nice person. The part where Dara helps Silas through tough times is heartfelt. Even before Silas knew the secret and Dara didn’t know what the future would hold for her and Silas, Dara put all her own feelings aside to help him heal. That to me is unconditional love.

I feel like Silas’s sister was completely causing drama for no good reason. With all her concerns for Silas “moving on” she should have been more understanding and happy that Silas finally found someone. I also can do without the drama of the singer. I feel that it did not go with the rest of the story other than showcasing the hilarious, strong, protective side of Dara toward her man. Other than that, I love Silas and Dara’s story – heart-warming, sweet, romantic and don’t forget HOT. You can always count on Audrey for writing such steamy, sexy scenes. Dara’s mama bear? Sweet baby Jesus! The woman is a fire-cracker and I totally dig her. All the bake-good talks – YUM! The yoga session? Yes please, I fell in love with yoga after reading the first book of Audrey’s Lotus series. Most sessions are hot as hell… I don’t know how anyone could focus on doing yoga LOL. But the meditation sessions in this book are quite different – healing, emotional and peaceful more than anything. LOVED IT! Overall, Intimate Intuition is another lovely romance, likable characters, well-paced, gorgeous writing.

I don’t know how to start talking about this book, the book captivates you in an incredible way that makes you devour every page! In it you've passed from a person who is suffering and after years find true love, and on the other side of a wonderful person who is there for whatever comes and goes.

Silas is a fucking hot men, who has a terrible past, but in passing the book he is a person who has meaning and helps to pass through that moment.

On the other hand we have to be a wonderful woman, decide and own herself, who is a wonderful woman, is an experience of life equal to his true love.

The story made me cry, laugh and had moments of tension that make the book even more incredible! The secondary characters were located so wonderfully that they made me attach to each one. And we have a turn of some other characters from the books in the series that left an even better pinch!

I'm just saying Audrey carlan rocks again! I think she write the best book in the series so far. I want a lot more and I hope it's a movie in the future because I need it!

Intimate Intuition is by far my favorite Lotus House novel! It's full of pure beauty, love, joy, sorrow, crippling grief, pain, peace, wicked hotness, and even heart-stopping moments!

Dara...she's the kind of woman that people just love, and it's not just because she's beautiful with mesmerizing eyes. She has a wicked temper when riled, but as expected of a yogi and meditation teacher, she's calm and calming. She has this essence that draws people to her. I love every bit of Dara. She's the kind of person that I strive to be.

Silas...whew...he and I have something in common, and like him, it tore me apart for years, never allowing me to live a full life. He made me see what strength looks like when it has nothing to do with the physical. I cheered with every step he took toward being the man he was destined to be. And oh boy, what a man! Let's just say that I lost my tongue in a few places.

Audrey Carlan never ceases to amaze me with her ability to strike right into my heart and soul. I don't know how many tears I've shed with this book; so many tears I've lost count. Intimate Intuition is the perfect novel for me and is on my constant re-read list. Sometimes, a girl has to have a dose of delicious chocolate. However, outside of the chocolate, I need the reminder to set my loss free and to find my peace. It's not an immediate process as Audrey showed us here, and she's shown me how to find the strength to keep going. The peace is worth every step. Thank you, Audrey, from the bottom of my heart. ML thanks you, too.

Intimate Intuition is book #6 in Audrey Carlan’s Lotus House series. This is the story of Silas and Dara. Dara is one fierce heroine. She has a strong mind and heart. Silas is just surviving after a loss no person should ever have to go through. My heart broke as he warred with his heart on moving on to a new relationship with Dara. This one has all the heat, desire and passion that I have come to love about this series. Not only this but the story is full of all the feels, emotional scenes and a gripping storyline. I really love how Audrey has included her love and experience with yoga in this series. It adds a uniqueness to the storyline that I love. It is hard to believe that there is only one book left in this series. I will be sad to see it end as I have come to love these characters so much.

Review for Intimate Intuition
By Audrey Carlan
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is book 6 of a seven book series. While you can read them as a stand-alone, I highly recommend starting at the beginning with Resisting Roots as you will not be disappointed.

Audrey is an outstanding author, that takes you on a magical journey with her stories. So much so that you will not be able to put the book down.

This is an amazing story of darkness coming out into the light and life being given back to Silas. Dara is his touchstone. She makes him want to start to live again after a tragic loss.

“Jeez-us what a beautiful love story for our Queen and her prince”

Five stars All. Darn. Day

Side note: Where has Ricky been hiding this entire series, LOVE him, and can we please get him his own novella/HEA somewhere?!?! Pretty pleaseeeee!!!

Silas McKnight is the owner of the music studio Knight & Day productions. He meets Dara Jackson through mutual friends one night while out at Harmony Jacks. Their mutually pleasurable one night stand ensures that their paths will one day cross again. Dara had the gift of reading people’s Aura’s and they practice combined with the meditation made for a very connected and emotional read. She knows their is more to Silas than she was able to Pickup on from their night together, but given the secrets she’s hiding she unable to push him too far.

Forgiveness is such a huge theme in this book, I think Every single person who reads this, it will challenge them to look at things differently. Both Dara and Silas find ways to turn that forgiveness into strength and love.

There is OF COURSE steamy beautifully written love scenes, a dose of crazy thanks to Mallory, and the rest of our adored lotus house crew. This is absolutely my favorite installment of the series and I can’t recommend it enough!

This book was amazing. It had me on the edge of my seat from the very beginning. It’s starts off with a big announcement and keeps you interested from the get go . Dara is a total free spirit who knows her body and can use her talents to help others control there’s. When she has a one night stand with a hot drop dead man by the name of Silas she finds her it hard to look away from his handsome face . He is the herd of a big music interprise and she is a yoga 🧘‍♀️ instructor doing Meditation classes. And when he shows up for one of her classes she knows he had demons to battle and she wants to learn him how to deal through meditation with his demons.
You will cry and have your heart tourn out on many occasions and you will laugh at other times it’s one of those books where you keep a Kleenex close by at all times . There is so much love and heartache that you want be able to put the book down. But I think you will love as much as I did and in the process you will learn some important stuff about yoga , meditation and how it can heal your mind, body and soil. I definitely think it’s a 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 read . Well done Audrey. Can’t wait for the next book in June . I voluntarily read this Advanced Copy

This was the 6th book in th Lotus House series. While they are standalones, I highly recommend reading them all. This was the story of Silas McKnight and Dara Jackson. Silas and Dara met one night while out with friends. There was instant chemistry between them. After one wild night together, Dara realizes her life will never be the same. While Silas hasn’t been able to get Dara off his mind, his past still haunts him and he struggles with his strong feelings for Dara. This story had me feeling so many different emotions! Silas has suffered so much loss in his life and works day and night to make Knight & Day Productions all it can be after taking over after his father passed. Dara owns her own bakery in her families business and also teaches meditative yoga. Seeing the way Silas treats Dara, and how she helps him to deal with his past and learn to love again was such a beautiful thing. The relationships the characters had with their friends Atlas and Ricardo had me laughing at times too! You really got a sense of who the characters are based on their relationships with their friends and family. I would highly recommend this story!

I confess, I’ve been on a bit of a binge the last few weeks, gorging on the latest three books in Audrey’s Lotus House series. There’s just something about her stories—an almost Cinderella quality in modern circumstances that leaves me both satisfied and craving more. Silas and Dara’s story was no exception. The Lotus House series just keeps getting better and better with every page!

“Set your loss free.”
Sometimes Destiny brings us what Fate endeavored to take.

Our experiences, good or bad, shape our lives, our thoughts, our perceptions. Regardless of what else comes in our lives, those thoughts niggle in the back of our minds and become the cause, and the effect of our actions.

When a magical one-night stand results in pregnancy, Dara knows she’ll give this child everything, but most importantly ensure this child knows they’re wanted. Dara was fortunate to have been adopted by the Jackson’s, and given the love and support every child deserves.

That one night, with all her sexual desires quenched, Dara wakes and heads to Silas’ kitchen for a glass of water. When she flips the switch the light reveals the reality of her situation. Pictures everywhere…family pictures. Dara’s slips out in the early morning hours, disappearing like Houdini’s assistant. Now you see her, now you don’t. The magic is over, no more hocus pocus.

Three weeks of silence pass since Dara and Silas’ night of passion.

Silas McKnight has a past he’s hidden, even from his closest friend and musical talent Atlas. His last three years have seen nothing but loss and heartache. He’s buried himself in work at Night & Day Productions and the stress of it all is finally catching up with him. When Atlas suggests meditation at Lotus House where he teaches Naked Yoga, Silas reluctantly agrees.

Excerpt:
“For your first class, we’ll sit up against a wall, keeping your back flat. It helps you relax from the pressure of your back getting tired.”
“I can’t lie down?” I gesture to the person lying comfortably.
He grins. “She is a regular. She comes two, three times a week. If I let you lie down like that, you’d fall asleep. This is not nap time. It’s quiet time for the mind.”
“Whatever that means,” I grumble.
Atlas leads me over to a wall close to the raised platform at the front of the room.
“We’ll want to be close so you can hear her words. The first few times, it helps to focus on the guided meditation Dara offers.”
Dara.
That name is not common, and yet, there’s no way this is her class. Before I can question what he said, my skin heats, and prickles of recognition shimmer down my spine, prodding at my lower back. I look up, and there she is. The woman I’ve thought about every night for the last three weeks.
She’s a vision.
Her hair is lifted off her neck in a mess of braids pinned up into a bun shape. She’s wearing a turquoise flowing tank top and a pair of skintight black exercise pants. They have these cut outs in the thighs and calves where black sheer mesh offers a sexy swath of skin. Her wrists are loaded with bracelets, and a large crystal hangs down between her breasts, sparkling in the track lighting above. I watch, fascinated, as she lays out a dark-blue mat, sits down, places two bolsters on the ground, one under each knee, before she closes her eyes, places her hands together between her breasts, and bows her head.
I can’t breathe.
Her beauty slams into my being like a wall of warm light.
Enshrouding me.
Protecting me.
Loving me.
Her eyes open, and I swallow at the heavenly blues.
“Welcome, class. Today we’re going to focus on letting go. A lot of the time, we spend minutes, hours, days, and weeks wanting what we can no longer have or mourning something we have lost. It’s time for you to let that go. Whatever may be plaguing your mind, your being, your soul…” She blinks slowly and glances around the room until her eyes find mine. I can tell the moment recognition crosses her vision.
It's like a wave of energy or two magnets reaching for the other when our gazes meet. Still, she doesn’t falter in her words.
“If it’s not meant to be yours, let it go.” Her eyes stay locked on me. “Perhaps it was never meant to be yours in the first place.”
I can’t help but think she’s speaking just to me. Every word, every utterance of her breath seeps deep into my psyche.
My heart squeezes for an entirely different reason when she says four words that could very well change my life.
“Set your loss free.”

Thoughts/Conclusion:
Dara is an incredibly strong woman. Silas, though not weak, is ruled by his loss. He’s struggled to let go and is constantly worried something would happen to Dara and the baby. Silas set out to work on that part of himself with Dr. Monet Hart, and for that I must commend him. Sometimes we know what’s screwed up with us, but making that change in our lives, for us or others, is quite a daunting task. Dara was there to support him and in the end, the plus signs kept adding up for the both of them. Their circle of friends ever expanding, always supporting. Adopted clans are really the best because you chose them and they chose you.

Sometimes what you didn’t have is what you want the very most. Sometimes Destiny brings us what Fate endeavored to take.

Audrey Carlan continues to write amazing stories about people who experience real, genuine loss, pain and great love that keep us coming back for more. Okay, maybe it’s the flaming hot sex too, but still her words touch us deeply and as readers we cheer this group of friends on as they find themselves and love.

I know through Audrey’s writing I’ve become intrigued by yoga, the chakra’s, what it teaches and now aura’s. I’ve always said her reader’s get more than a story to escape into. There’s ample life lessons if you’re open to them.

The final book in the Lotus House series, “Enlightened End,” is due to release June 26, 2018. There’s an eminent threat to Lotus House and the quaint neighborhood we’ve come to know through these true to life characters. Luna Marigold must find a way to save her legacy and the future of others too, but Grant Winters stands in the way. As fine a man as he is, he’s poised to demolish her slice of nirvana.

Grade: A++

Oh lord. How am I supposed to start a review about a book written by one of my favorite author of all times? How can I say a different thing since I feel exactly the same way? Well since I'm only a reader, not a writer, I'll do my best.
Audrey Carlan is freaking awesome and there are no words that can make her justice. Her writing is amazing, super detailed, full of feelings, hot stuff and so much more. She writes about real people and their struggles.
Intimate Intuition is her latest release and it's the 6th book from the Lotus House series. But before I tell you a little bit more about this book I need to tell you something. Despite all books are standalones you should read all series. Trust me... You'll live and love them.
This new book explores the lifes of Silas and Dara.
Silas is not only a very rich man but he's extremely good looking. He's the owner of a very well known and very successful Music Production company but not everything is a bed of roses.
Dara devides her days between her Bakery but also teaching meditation. She didn't have a good childhood because growing up an orphan was not good. She just wanted to be loved but time passed and now she's a grown up woman with the desire of having a baby to love him like she wanted to be loved.
When these two meet things will change...
Dayum... Dayum... What a book... What a series...
The plot is magnificent, very well written, fast paced and super engaging. The struggles that these two had to endure made reading this book even more amazing.
This book presented us with love, desire, straight, as well as loss, heartache and loneliness.
We don't need to close our heart cause we are scared of getting hurt, we need to embrace each opportunity and go with it.
And lord... The hot scenes were brutal, full if desire and so much more... Just go for it.
Oh Audrey... What a book this was. Each book is special and super intense and this new addition was freaking awesome. Can't wait for the next one...
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

This is my first Audrey Carlan book, and my first time listening to Diana Luke.I was drawn to it because of Jakobi Diem as the narrator. Now I have a new author to add to my list, as well as a new trusted narrator.

Audrey Carlan wrote a beautiful, emotional story. Silas and Dara are great complements to each other, and they each are a little bit fragile from an emotional perspective. I like that Silas took the time to work on his emotional state before he continued to pursue Dara. I also like that Dara was confident enough to know that she may have to go it alone for a while, but she also knew what and who she wanted in Silas, and she was willing to give him the chance to feel ready and confident in what he brought to the relationship.

The narration by Jakobi Diem and Diana Luke was really a great enhancement to the story. They both performed very well, funny when they needed to be funny, steamy when they needed to be steamy, and emotional when they needed to be emotional. I really enjoyed their performances.

Dealing with excruciating loss years on, Silas Knight's heart begins to beat again after one night with Dara Jackson, but soon crumbles under the weight of things unsaid and misunderstood when she leaves. Fate dictates that they meet again and again, and eventually, neither Dara nor Silas can find the strength to walk away from each other. Can Silas dare to hope that his future and new family lie with the sassy, sexy yogi?

The chemistry between these two was H-O-T! The story itself deals with Silas' growth and acceptance of life and his ability to be thankful for the moments that don't even seem like miracles, and through it all, Dara was there, holding his hand. I enjoyed the epilogue - it was truly like icing on a perfectly-baked cake.

This sweet, moving romance is a good read. It's been a while since I read anything from the Lotus House series, so it felt good to be re-immersed in this family-centered, love-rich world that Audrey Carlan introduced me to a little over 2 years ago. Thank you so much for this installment!

I voluntarily read & reviewed an ARC of this book.

Intimate Intuition did not disappoint as the sixth book of the Lotus House series. I love this series and this book can truly be read as a stand alone or as a continuation of the series. I personally read Silent Sins as a stand alone and loved it so much I binge read the series to be ready for Intimate Intuition so you will understand relationships more by beginning with Resisting Roots it is not necessary at all.

This book is captivating and takes you through the emotional story of Silas and Dara who have both experienced loss and both want to protect themselves from more loss. With Dara you either get the down to earth meditation instructor who reads auras or a lady full of sass. She is a strong character who has experienced loss from being an orphan but doesn't dwell on it because her parents saved her from that life. Silas is an alpha male who is still hurting from the loss of his past. It still rules a lot of his fears of experiencing more loss which makes him naturally want to play it safe. Both of them felt drawn to each other from the time they met but both are scared to take the plunge to be with each other for different reasons. Dara is a meditation instructor which plays a major role in this book for both her and Silas. Silas treats Dara as a queen which makes this such a beautiful love story. This book was captivating from the very beginning to the last page. This book will take you on an emotional roller coaster that makes you feel the joy and pain of the characters in the book.

One thing I love about this series is all six stories have been six different stories not different characters and variations of the same story. Each book you open takes you on a new adventure in this circle of people that center around The Lotus House Yoga Studio.

I read this book as an Advanced Reader Copy

Received an ARC for an honest review.

Lotus House man...I love it. I don't ever want it to end. Silas and Dara had a one night stand, but something about it has them both dwelling on a night that was supposed to be over in the morning. Silas is not able to handle anything more than casual - he's still reeling from a devastating loss. Dara is fine with casual, but eventually, she wants it all. Adopted at age 8, she wants a family.

It's funny what destiny has in store for the two of them. And I was fully invested in watching to see how they were going to deal with the curveball thrown at them. Especially when you add in the heat and heart that Carlan is known for.

......

Spoilers below.....

......

I loved watching how protective Silas got of Dara. While I wasn't quite sure why he was hiding their relationship from his family, I liked watching him care for Dara. I liked that he wasn't afraid to commit once he realized that there could be more.

You might be asking why I docked a star if everything was awesome and it has to do with the fact that the dialogue felt forced. Both characters are black and it felt like Carlan was trying too hard to make them sound black. Compared to the other Lotus House books, the dialogue kept pulling me out of the story, almost making me cringe at points. It felt like she was writing the way she thought black people should sound. Now, I don't know if it's culturally accurate, but it made me a touch uncomfortable. Not enough for me to not love the book, but enough for me to comment on it.

All in all, a fantastic book...and I'm ready and yet scared for the next one, because I'm pretty sure it'll be the last.

If you are a fan of the Lotus House series, Intimate Intuition does not disappoint.
This book focuses on Dara and Silas, two secondary characters we’ve seen frequently in the series and the aftermath of them meeting for the first time.
As with all of the Lotus House books, there is a strong element of healing and spiritual growth. I think one of my favorite parts of this series is that physical expressions and spiritual love coexist so well.
As much as I enjoyed seeing Dara and Silas get things figured out, this story didn’t flow as well for me as some of the others. I think the issues I had with it fall under the “personal preferences” heading, so I’m not going to go into detail.
Overall, this is a strong addition to the series. There are small glimpses of other characters, but this story completely stands on its own.

“Sometimes the things we love most in this world come with loss."

This is the first book I have read in the Lotus House series and I LOVED it! I have no idea why I waited so long to read one of these stand-alones! This book had everything I crave, heart breaking ANGST! Intimate Intuition pulls at your heart strings. I cried so many times during this book. I hope you are prepared to keep Kleenex at the ready. Each page is packed with heart pounding emotion. Intimate Intuition is a true story of gripping loss, and healing to move forward. I loved the little snippets at the start of chapters. It was a great added touch to the yoga and meditation theme. Learning about aura's, and chakra's was also very intriguing. I was completely hooked on these characters! Dara and Silas was so magical together. I loved their chemistry and flirtatious banter. And WOW could they heat up the pages! Their story was unique and kept me captive. I couldn't read the pages fast enough. I have never wanted a happily ever after for two characters as much as Dara and Silas.

Dara was a easy heroine to like. She could be a total spit fire, or just completely down to earth. Dara is a independent women, with a big heart. Her character brought a calming, healing force this book desperately needed. Although my heart would squeeze for her when insecurities from her past would surface.

Silas was one of those damaged hero's you couldn't help but obsess over. He was haunted by his past, but 100% Alpha! Silas had me melting with his dirty mouth, and possessive ways. While shattering my heart with his vulnerability! His characters developement and growth constantly evolved from beginning to end. His journey to happiness left you no choice but to love, and admire his character.

*4 & 1/2 STARS* Intimate Intuition is a heart warming story of healing and happiness that leaves your heart feeling warm and full.
*I voluntarily read a advanced copy!*

Follow this awesome Lotus House series! Dara and Silas feel the connection and it has been way to long for Dara! She gives in to a night of passion but when she gets up in the middle of the night for water she sees pictures of a wife and sees his baby girls bedroom ....she is sickened that he could do this to his family, so she leaves before he wakes. He awakens to find Dara gone. He is not sure what happened as he had one of the best nights of his life. She can’t quit thinking about Silas, but she is not going to be “the other woman”. They don’t see each other for several weeks, but when they do he is so confused! Dara mentions his family and Silas realizes that things aren’t as they seem! How is he ever going to explain what is going on and what has happened? Will anything become of the passion they shared? Will Silas get his life and heart back? There are many twists, turns and many emotions in this book! Audrey Carlan wrote another 5 star read that you don’t want to miss!

Why is this the first book I read from this author?

I feel the need to go ahead and read every book she has written, simply because this one showed me her impeccable ability to write words that deliver different kinds of emotions, in various amounts. It shaped a beautiful story that made me smile and made me feel lost, all at the same time. But also, a story that made me feel a part of it.

Experiences of loss, sadness and frustration are not emotions you can escape from. Not when each of the words grabs your heart and pull its strings. Not when those words reach to the deepest part of you and give it a tug.

I was fascinated with the plot, the twists and the general description that was involved in it.

Outstanding, captivating and sweet.

Silas and Dara , this is their story ! It is the continuation of the Lotus series . This is my first book in this series and I loved it !
Silas and Dara indulge in one amazing night together , when Dara awakens during the night she is surprised by what she finds in his home. She quickly leaves without a trace or explanation . Silas is confused when he finds her gone in the morning after what they had shared. A misunderstand that needs to be straightened and so much explaining. This book is filled with every emotion you will be subjected to the emotion spectrum !! Is their a chance to rekindle what they had that night and make it so much more or is it too much for both of them !!??

This is a magnificent second chance love story that must be read. Dara and Silas definitely bring a whole new meaning to heartache, grief, loss and love. They will frustrate you, excite you, and make you swoon. They have wicked hot chemistry that is undeniable. Their sexy banter will have you fanning yourself.
This story teaches you the importance of letting go in order to be free. The cast of characters in this book will have you laughing out loud, smiling from ear to ear, and sometimes wanting to scream or cry.
Audrey Carlan creates a perfect balance of angst, friendship, passion, forgiveness and love.
She writes exquisite stories that can be enjoyed over and over again.

I absolutely loved this book! This Series just gets better and better. Be ready to be shattered and then healed...

Dara was such an amazing character in this book... While she had her quirks and was super stubborn she was absolutely 100% admirable. She knows what it is like to have no one so she values her life.. her friends, family and now Silas... Dara was all about a night of fun with no worries and no strings attached.. she had definitely been in a dry spell. What ends up happening is something she will never forget or move on from. Her world is torn upside down.. Through grace, belief, and fate she deals with her obstacles as they come at her...Will she ever have a happy ending and have all the things she has always wanted?

Silas is not new to grief, loss and pain... He has had some heavy burdens in his short life. What could possibly go wrong in a heated night of passion with Dara? Silas has met his match. He will take you through EVERY emotion possible... even ones you did not know you had..You will feel his pain, his grief and his struggle for his happily ever after. Could Dara be his destiny?

Trust me do NOT miss this book... It is AMAZING. I was not sure I could love this series more than I already did, but here I am!

This is my favorite book in this series so far!

An absolutely beautiful story of healing. Letting go of the past. Moving on from loss. Finding amazing love and their ultimate destiny.

Audrey always delivers impeccable writing paired with characters that are developed to perfection. Our hero Silas and heroine Dara in Intimate Intuition are among my favorite of all time. They were made for each other. And although life has thrown them more than their share of loss and pain - the way their story unfolds -- utterly flawless! These characters gah I am blown away. Dara is intuitive, beautiful, fun loving and patient. Silas is a hunk, head of the family business, worships Dara and completely adores her. However he's carrying serious baggage from his past. Dara is the perfect person to not only form an immediate attraction and bond with but the one person who can recognize his pain and help him through the healing process. She is the sunlight to his perpetual state of the darkness.

At the beginning of each chapter we get definitions of Chakras and auras. So incredibly fascinating. I want to learn about meditation. Color me intrigued - if Audrey still teaches these classes, I want to sign up!

Intimate Intuition is the sixth installment of a seven book series. While it can be read as a stand-alone, I am always so impressed with the way Audrey Carlan is able to weave her previous characters into the current book, allowing you to see how your old favorites are doing.

In this installment, Dara Jackson is the heroine, who got more than she reckoned after a one night stand with Silas McKnight. Silas, broken and alone, finds Dara again, and while sparks fly, is in for the shock of a lifetime. Dara and Silas were destined to meet and together, are able to heal from their pasts and move forward with more strength and determination then either of them thought they had.

I am always in awe of Audrey’s work and love her ability to tell a story. This installment did not disappoint yet again!

The heart wants what the heart wants.....in this 6th book in the Lotus house series Silas's heart has been shattered in the most unimaginable way and he doesn't want to let anyone in. Dara ,the part time yoga teacher and helps her parents with their bakery ,always smells like sugar and cinnamon and see the positive in everything life throws at her.
They have one no strings attached night but neither of them can forget. Can these two hearts come together and be one?
As with all Audrey Carlan books it will touch your heart, make you laugh and have you asking " that did not just happen? "
