CLAY

I've had my eye on Ronan for a while and now that I've gotten my hands on him, I'm not sure I'll ever be able to get them off. It started as an innocent shower after the basketball game, before I knew it, his steamy body was writhing against the wall underneath me in the best way. I thought having him once would satisfy my need, but all it did was have me coming back for more. I can only hope it doesn't ruin our friendship; I can't lose the time we spend together.


RONAN

I've known I wanted Clay from the first moment I laid eyes on him. Now that I've had him, all I want is more. I'm not sure he shares the same feelings and I have a hard time keeping my insecurities from getting the best of me sometimes. I'm not sure where this can go, but I know one time with Clay will never be enough. I'm brought back to the unforgettably hot moment we shared in the shower room every time I see him.


When friends become lovers and it's too late to turn back, will their feelings be strong enough to withstand it all? Or will they choose to go their separate ways?

This is a steamy short story that tries to be erotica, but doesn't quite get that hot. Ronan is a personal trainer who became friends with some guys from his gym and they got together every Saturday to play basketball. Clay is a firefighter, and one of the guys. The two had been watching each other for months, until the day when they were the only ones who showed up for basketball. After the game, they had some fun in the shower. Then they didn't know what to do next, stay friends or start a relationship. But Clay's old work and gym friend wanted Clay for himself, which turned a good thing into a trust thing. I like both Ronan and Clay, they're both nice guys who have been hurt in the past.

Loved the book, the story was well written and the characters were intriguing. Once I started I could not get enough, from the start till the end I was engrossed I was even on the edge of my seat with twists and turns, lust and passion, strength happiness and funny. The story of erotic of sensation. Do yourself a favor and buy the book you want be disappointed.

Don't think, talk! Clay and Ronan are friends. They play basketball at the gym every weekend, and Clay is always visually eating Ronan up.Ronan has been crushing on Clay since they first met. Ronan teases Clay, a lot. Ronan catching Clay's non-verbal's, makes his move. They connect physically, but not emotionally. They don't communicate which leads to mis-communications. There are hurt feelings and thoughts of betrayal. Nice story. It's a bit, high school. Will Clay and Roman ever have a conversation? Will all the friends talk? Nice but short. A delightful short story. Ronan and Clay get together once a week at the gym. They secretly have feelings for each other ad things take a turn when Ronan makes a brave move and things get steamy. However, could a misunderstanding end their relationship before it even starts? A great book.

A.L. Miller knocks it out of the park again! (Am I mixing sports? She hit a 3-pointer? Made a half-court shot?) I loved Clay and Ronan so much. They both totally stole my heart. I do wish there was just a bit more development for the characters but that’s what comes with a novella. The story was super cute and I loved that there was more than just the couple. They had real lives and friends and life didn’t stop just because they were hooking up. Overall, I loved everything in this story and I can’t wait to see what comes next!

3.5 Stars....This was a good story. I just felt there was just too much confusion and insecurity with Ronan. For me the insecurities were one to many and Clay forgave them again and again. I think it would have been a better read without the insecurities, because Ronan was down right rude. All in all a good read and I was happy Clay and Ronan got their hard won HEA.

Nice short story about two guys who get together once a week at the gym but secretly like each other. Ronan thinks he is reading Clay's body language correctly and decides to take a chance. A steamy encounter in the gym shower starts an intense attraction between the two. Of course lack of communication puts a strain on their budding relationship. Once they get through all the misunderstandings/jealousy things work out well in the end.

Good plot of the story, but just a little bit to much doubt in believing in people. I liked how it all begins, though too many other characters get introduced which allude to all the confusion and self doubt. Glad that in the end most of the questions are explained, with the chance to start over with a fresh outlook.

That line between friendship and going further is always a tricky one. These men have chemistry and they start out in the safer zone fooling around which leads them to have to work through the scary drama that comes with feelings. Good short, steamy read.

If you're look for a steamy quick read this book is what you're looking for. Clay and Ronan dance around each other through the book. I really enjoyed this book it was quick but you really get a sense for the characters.
