My question is....did he give up his company? Or chose to take a step back ? This wasn't a bad story. I enjoyed most of it.

2.25 Stars. (BW/WM). Kindle unlimited e-book. Childhood friends to adult lovers. Crazy off-the-hook drama. The hero, Duncan Gold is the independently wealthy successful businessman childhood best male friend of Easton Steele from book one. Duncan moved back to his hometown to care for his ailing mother who subsequently died. During the funeral, Duncan is comforted and supported by his childhood best female friend and heroine, Naomi Banks. Crazy takes over the storyline when Easton conveniences Duncan to end his 2 week drunken apartment confined battle with grief and get the sadness cure found in Sin City, Vegas, and put and end to his suffering. At the same time as the guys are heading to Vegas, Naomi, a 29-year-old virgin who has spent her life working minimum wage jobs and being beautiful is being hired as a cocktail waitress in the same casino that Duncan and Easton are staying. As the storyline travels through “Crazyville” our party hartyy guru businessman, Duncan, throws caution to the wind and sells his businesses, confesses his longtime love for the heroine and gets himself shot. To add insult to injury, our unambiguous beautiful virginal heroine, Naomi, reciprocates by confessing her longtime love for Duncan and conceding that her beauty and allure has caused her boss to shot the love of her life because she is a means of increasing his customer base. Two years later, all is well, Duncan and Naomi are married with child.

Childhood friends reconnect and become something more in Vegas

Bound To Gold is the second book in the Bound To The Billionaires series and is the story of Duncan and Naomi. This is an emotionally deep story so be prepared to shed more than a few tears. But the story is also wonderfully uplifting and hopeful as Duncan and Naomi and what happens in Vegas between these two old childhood friends who lost touch until recently.
This is a nicely written book with a good story-line that kept me engaged on a fast-paced journey. The characters are wonderful and you root for them to figure it out and help each other heal.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

I am throughly enjoying this series. What’s not to love? There’s always a gorgeous alpha who eventually meets his match and Naomi is perfect for her childhood best friend turned billionaire Duncan Gold. If you like cocky assertive alphas who stumble upon their sassy HEA then this story is perfect for you they’re even twists that might surprise you as they did me. However I highly recommend reading Bound To Steele to get full enjoyment out of this wonderful world and th crazy but unforgettable characters that reside in it.

Duncan and Naomi were best friends and lost contact until she showed up at his mother's funeral. She had the same effect on him as she always had and they were able to pick up where they left off as far as the friendship but on a more grown-up level while in Vegas. The scene at the casino had me ready to punch Easton and Rowan for Duncan. It was like my adrenaline was pumping the same as his to save Naomi. The love Duncan and Naomi had for one another never wavered.

This was a simple love story told effortlessly.

Love will always survive

I have read every book in this series and I have loved every single one of them but Duncan and Naomi touched my heart. They continued to love each other even though they were apart for years. Naomi showed up for Duncan just when he needed her the most and Duncan was will to make the ultimate sacrifice for the love of his life. Oh those two! Coco is a great storyteller. I have read several of her books and I have enjoyed them all. Until next time y’all happy reading.

Golden

Another great book by Ms. Miller! We met Duncan in the first book in the series along with his ailing mother. This book picks up at her funeral where Duncan is reconnected with his high school best friend Naomi..... They have always secretly loved each other. With Easton's help they overcome obstacles. It was nice catching up with Zola and Easton...
The book did have some typos....repeated sentences.... But not anything to take away from this cute fast paced story....Rowan is next!!

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this quick story about Duncan and Naomi. They were best friends all their lives. But they drifted apart the last 5 years. Now she's back when he needs her most, his mother's death. Both have been secretly in love with each other but afraid to ruin they're friendship. Great HEA after some life and death events.

Amazing and emotional

The the story of Duncan and Naomi is a very emotional one. From the very beginning it is full of emotions that you can feel. They go through alot of emotions from the beginning to the end. They finally tell each other who they felt about each other in high school one night when they go drunk. Not to give anything else to spoil it , it is a very good read.

Duncan and Naomis story for sure did it justice.
I would highly recommend this sweet, steamy and the-edge-of-your-seat read.

Don’t Let Go

Whew! What a visceral friends to lovers tale! That En Vogue song from the ‘90s movie with Queen Latifah is resonating with this story for me:
“What's it gonna be 'cause I can't pretend?
Don't you wanna be more than friends?
Hold me tight and don't let go (don't let go)
You have the right to lose control (don't let go)
Well done, Ms. Miller!

An enjoyable and exciting read! The story line is well written, emotionally deep, enthralling, and well-developed. The characters are amazing; the chemistry between them is off the charts! It is drama-filled, funny, and witty with some ups and downs. Very enjoyable and definitely recommended!

Duncan wont let her get away this time.

A nice love story about two people, Duncan and Naomi, who both have lost and had to bury a family member. Reuniting with Naomi in Vega is exactly what he needs. It’s exactly why Duncan promised himself to never let her go.

I recommend this book.
