Brendon Sullivan is sick of everyone treating him like a chick just because of his pretty face. Tonight's the worst, Jake's older brother and friends tricking him into a game of 'Truth or Dare,' where they're determined to embarrass the hell out of him by making him suck Mitch's fingers. Bad enough, but after his best friend Jake Coy sees, he suddenly wants Brendon to play a different game, just the two of them.

Jake doesn't seem to care that Brendon isn't a perv like him and has no interest in being his friend's pseudo-girlfriend just because he hasn't gotten laid in half a year. Which only makes things more awkward when Brendon finds his friend just so damn persuasive.

Confused as to how he became so messed up so quick, Brendon returns to the Coys’ house, Mitch and Dave there to help Jake convince his best friend into one more naughty game of 'Dare.'

This somewhat dark slice of suburban youth contains explicit sexual m/m content between multiple partners, graphic language, first time experiences, one very pretty bottom and three hot, athletic young men, and very little plot. All sexually active characters are 18+.

The first 30% is nothing but a non-con rape scene. No means No and stop means stop. Doesn't matter if you think they are joking. Erotica is fine, glorifying rape isn't.

What a shame that the story ended with Jake as Brandon's boyfriend. Jake was weak, untrustworthy, and unredeemable. Pretty boy Brandon needed a real protector.

I have no problem with reading non-con or dub-con.....but not when the characters or the way it is written, try to justify rape.....and not in a cruel villainous way!

"I/He/She didn't say No"
"I/He/She didn't fight hard/harder"
"His dick is hard so he must like it"
"She is wet so she must like it"

The whole "No means yes" thing in romance is not for me (unless an actual Villain is trying to convince his victim of that....which I consider mindfuckery). And this book STARTED that way. To say I am annoyed is an understatement.
To write a non-con scene with romance, make your guy or girl cruel and/or realistic enough to face that they are raping or getting raped. 🤦

I don't know if that even made sense to anyone, but one thing is clear, this book wasn't for me.

A good thing about this book was the foursome scene, which was very admittedly very hot.

This was certainly a hot one! And was just what I was looking for at the moment. This is one of those in between books when you haven't found another great series yet but looking for something to tie you over in the meantime. I wanted something mindless, sexy & smutty. And that's exactly what I got lol


This is the first book I've read from this author Sadie Sins. And certainly won't be the last. Curious to check out the rest of her work.

Quick steamy read however, many may be offended by the blurriness of consensual sex. The truth or dare game was interesting and it kind of caught me off guard when the two brothers kissed. If your looking for something hot, sexy, smutty yet meaningless, then look no further.

I reckon the synopsis was very clear about its ‘dubious’ content to be honest, which shouldn’t be held against the book. Also, you gotta know how Sadie’s books go. Most of em have some sort of ‘scene’ which is more than morally questionable, but to each their own. I haven’t personally read this one yet but from some of her and honestly better books the scenes are handled fine - more of a Japanese anime style debauchery called fan service. I highly doubt this is trying to condone rape. Just take it with a grain of salt in a erotica sort of sense I think. Anyway, that’s my two cents

Ps: if you want to read a book along these lines but with a plot - read Sadie’s Mated to a demon prince from the Hellcat series - it’s really good :)

This author writes filthy things and I think she's pretty great at it. So while I marked this as MM 'cest that's a bit of a lie but not really. Two brothers make out passionately during a dare but they don't go further. They are involved in a spit roast of the MC as well.

Dave pushes me forward with a growl, forcing my head into Jake's lap while Mitch holds my friend and makes him watch his brother fuck me.

I normally dislike MMM+ but this was done well and was really hot. I love the ending, even if the boys choose to still play with others, they are on the same page as far as their feelings and their loyalty to the other.

I wanted to read hot scenes between Jake and his friends Brendon. Brendon who is "prettier than a chick". Brendon who keeps repeating he is not a chick. Gawd, it was like reading a yaoi. Anyway, I got what I wanted but also what I NEVER want. Which is, other guys in the picture. Mitch seems like a creepy perv and I had to stop when the brothers start to kiss and grope each other **vomits** No thanks, incest + sharing is not for me. I feel so repulsed right now.

Somehow, I feel like I'm not as interested in these characters. Perhaps it's because I'm not really getting much motivation to like the boyfriend? Or the Mc, to be honest (other than he's pretty). I felt like I was reading a more explicit version of some of the overly beauty-focused Chinese BL novels.
