This short story is a great introduction to the series that details the beginning of a difficult journey in hopes of saving humanity. An entertaining blend of dystopian adventure and mythology! I plan to read Equinox, next in the series, ASAP. I highly recommend it and hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

the premise is great and the protagonist has been quite relatable so far but i am finding it painful to slog through this dyslexia-hostile font. mine is pretty mild but it is still more of a chore than a pleasure trying to read this book. please consider switching to a less flourish-y font or even be THE VERY BEST and use the "dyslexie" font developed to make it easier to distinguish letters.
