Well I enjoyed it..waffles on a bit, defo not a hotwife/cuckold book and only one threesome scene, which was quite horny by the way, the rest of the rumpypumpy is between hubby & wifey and they do seem a randy pair..liked her writing style, easy to read.

This is the third book in the Dirty Vanilla series. I really enjoyed reading this.
Sally and Shane are very likeable. They are exploring more in the bedroom and the subject of threesomes is mentioned.

This is book 3 in the terrific series, and it continues Sally & Shane 's story of self discovery. You need to read the first two books first to really enjoy, in my opinion. The key about this story is the way it's so relatable. Yes, perhaps the three some isnt, but it's really about the journey. The ins and outs of a positive marriage and the confidence in their relationship to try to spice up their sex life. Even the friends are all relatable, with all of them at different places in their lives. I loved the closeness that the Women had, and the small bumps in their friendships. These are women who are ride or die, and I loved how Butler highlighted things like the disagreement between Sally &Kate. Loved the therapy sessions that made Sally &Kate sound so very normal, especially how they worked out the issues. I loved how Shane is there for Sally no matter what. It's so refreshing to have a story with issues that aren't just there to push the narrative. They are written in a way that makes them all just seen to HAPPEN. The end was lovely. I saw part of it happening a mile away, but again it's the journey. Sally & Shane are starting a new chapter in their lives and it's been a pleasure watching them grow. Proves that even long marriages have room to grow. Oh, and I can't forget the fact that their sex scenes are smokin! They don't turn into porn stars...only healthy adults willing to push some boundaries.

I like to keep blurbs fresh in my memory when reading a new-to-me author and keep a mental checklist of performance against promises.
"Dirty talk about secret longings"-- delivers in great profusion. Sally and Shane have effective, open communications.
"That night—that hot, passionate, delicious night" -- is hot, steaming, boiling passion and was quite delicious for Sally.
And the can of worms "wild side" vs "normal" raises it's head.
Sally and Shane develop well as characters as they travel through the challenge and sail to the denouement with a clear vision for their future. Along the way we have appropriate to the genre levels of heat and fascinating secondary characters. (Let's hear it for Sis.)
Very highly recommended, very satisfying contemporary woman's romance entry.

As Sally continues to work through her issues with being abandoned by her father, the couple take a step into the world of threesomes. The psychological aspects of this story are only outpaced by the sex scenes Butler has written. Both are well written with believable characters and a good deal of spice. Amazing what can happen in a strong marriage! :)

Continuation of the story of Sally and Shane - third book in the series but stands on it own. The couple have been happily married for 10 years and have a mostly "vanilla" sex life. Due to recent experiences the subject of a threesome comes up. The story is their experience and how it impact them and their lives. Family and friends add to the turmoil. Interesting how Sally's deals with the personal issues with the help of a therapist. Hot steamy scenes and fantasies with a story behind them.

i will be honest i struggled with book 2 in this series and at the end got back into it, so when book 3 came out i wanted to finish the series. i struggled again. i think it was the wording, it felt drawn out a little, taking too long for sally to make decisions and deal with her insecurities. but on a whole it was a good read and helped expand a vanilla couple into the realms of a more kinky fulfilling relationship.

Shane and Sally is back and what a continuation it was. I enjoyed how their connection gets better as they spice up their love life. As Sally works her issues, a suggestions and Stefen steps up to help this couple. I loved the steamy loving that this MFM romance read gives it readers with some surprise and drama galore that made for an enjoyable read. I’m glad I stuck around for this couples whole story.

Not A Hotwife Book At All.
Lots and lots of drama but not really anything erotic. The author is obviously a skilled writer but this book should never have been in hotwife genre. There is one threesome scene but it’s not till the last half of the third book. There is however lots of sex scenes between the husband and wife. So the three stars is because the story is not about hotwife or even erotica.

Such a steamy story! Sally has come so far but I felt she was a little to stubborn. A few times I felt she was going in circles. And I was slightly disappointed the 3rd was only there a short time when its suggested there would be more. But the story drama and bedroom scenes were super great! Overall still an amazing story!

Wow this was such a great story as Sally and Shane continue their talk of fantasies I thought they were so brave and giving into their insecurities to really push the limit and just do it. Shane has so much love for Sally you can feel it. This was super hot,fun and serious.Wonderful writing and characters that I loved.

What a great ending to the adventures of Sally and Shane. Sexy read into the intimacy and insecurities of a real couple who start exploring things in the bedroom. Ms. Butler gives them more sexy adventures and a great happy ending to her series about a not so vanilla couple.

This book is so relatable to so many people ,we keep things bottled up when we just need to express everything. The store is long but it's well worth the read but the end will have you in tears

Good story, needs editing
I like the story line in this series and how real Sally's thoughts and feelings were. The writing needs quite a bit of editing. I found lots of typos, missing or duplicate words and improper usage of words.

Loved this one
Sally and Shane continuing to explore their sexuality is just hot and yet also very realistic as Sally struggles to always convey her worries and fears. I read this in a day and just loved the ending...now I need to know what happens to the rest of the friend gang.

I got this book in Sept 2023 and found multiple issues, another read through and ediit needs to be done. That said, I would call this a slow burn with only one really spicy scene.
