When Wynter walked into her favourite nightclub one fateful night, she never thought she'd leave with the opportunity of a lifetime at her fingertips. Desperate for her life to change, she's offered a way out of her rut, but behind the warm welcome lies a dark and sinister world. A world that quickly ensnares her... And all at the behest of a vampire who soon takes over every aspect of her life. Because when something seems to good to be true, chances are it is!
The Blood Slave series in intended for mature readers and is not suitable for those under the age of 18
This was a different take on a Vampire book than any that i have read in the past, not sure if i liked it or loved it,but it did keep me gripped through out this story.Loved Wynter and how she was feisty and that her strong personality shone through even when Marcus Cole had her held in his curse.
I really didn't like Marcus at all,he was one of them vampires that you either love or hate and i didn't warm to him at all. The interview seemed like the job of a lifetime to Wynter when she was offered a job in *clue slave*a nightclub in her town with good prospects and fantastic wages, even though it was working seven nights a week with two days overtime, but as soon as she signed her contract it was sealed in blood but she did had one week to decide if this job was for her or not.Her first night she gets to find out what this club is really all about, vampires and there blood slaves. I now need to read the second book to find out how this is going to end up after the way this book ended.
Vampires! this has to be one of my favourite genres, what a fantastic start to this series.
I was completely drawn in, totally captivated and transported into Wynters new world. I loved her character, I could feel her emotions and turmoil throughout.
A superb start to this series, I can't wait to read more and see where this leads to.
I must admit that i was hesitant to buy this book as its not my usual type if story but i am glad i got it as its a nice tale that is exciting and kept me hooked until the very last page.
A recommended read for those who love anything vampire but also for those looking for a good read.
Poor, poor Wynter, both financially and emotionally. Not for long... But at what end? This tale left me entralled in the world of Marcus and could it become Wynters? Such a beautifully written, harsh tale. Looking forward to devouring book two.
As the title suggests this is the beginning of a series. What a beginning it is!!!
Blood Slave is a vampire tale like no other that I’ve read. It is a compelling read from the very start. It’s got action and emotion at every turn. The characters fit the story perfectly. Winter is a feisty female, she has a strong personality, that is clear to see. Marcus is a vampire at the head of an Empire. I found Marcus to be the kind of vampire you’ll either love or hate. Personally, I kinda liked that he was mean, arrogant, moody and closed off to others; maybe that’s just my twisted inner self poking through!
The plot is dark and twisted. It takes you back to how vampires should be; cruel and bite-y, even though they do drink from willing donors/slaves. It draws you in and keeps your attention captive until the very end, and leaves you needing more. It’s clear that Eden Wildblood has put a lot of time, effort, care and emotion into this book, for me it was well worth it.
I’ve loved each and every word and cannot wait to devour book 2!
You cant beat a good vampire book and this is just that! Absolutely amazing. I throughly loved Wynter as a character. She was strong willed and feisty and is offered the chance to change her life. But everything comes at a cost.
