EXPOSED: Kings of Rebellion MC 6

Rate this book
It might surprise you to find out that Scrappy is a private kind of guy.
He may like to let all the guys know who he’s had in his bed, but there’s one girl he’s kept secret from everyone.
Erica is the one that got away.
Scrappy let his guard down for the first time and let himself fall. He was going to take the next step and introduce Erica into the club, but then she vanished. Taking his heart with her. It’s been broken ever since and Scrappy doubts it will ever be fixed. He will never trust a woman again and Scrappy is absolutely fine in having a woman warm his bed and not his heart.
However, that’s easy to say when she’s not around but how will he react when Erica returns to town and her secret is exposed.

Erica has a big heart and she loves the idea of love.
She met Scrappy and fell hard. It hit her hard and she wasn’t ready for a life within an MC. Especially when she discovered that having such a passionate life comes with consequences. A certain consequence that she thinks doesn’t suit Scrappy or his lifestyle. So she did the only thing she thought was right and ran.
When the surprising death of her dad brings her back to her home town, she has to face her past and with that comes a responsibility of betrayal and exposure.
Scrappy wants answers that Erica doesn’t think she can give him but when the secrets of her dads death becomes clear, she has no choice but to let Scrappy take over and protect the one thing they now share.

Start with the epilogue first...

If you read this review first, start with the epilogue because that’s really the prologue. It makes no sense why it’s at the end of the book and it truly threw me off.

I enjoyed the story, love the Ol’ Ladies, the MC men, and the family connections. I liked Scrappy’s parents and they cracked me up in one part. I liked the storyline as it was a tad different from most of the norm MC stories.. I loved that the couple didn’t just get right together when they reunited. I loved Lewis and his fun times with Conner. There’s a little other woman drama, but I like how Erica isn’t a pushover doormat, and I love how she handles herself in a certain situation. I’m grateful this story was over run with sex and exploding ovaries like the last book I read from another author. So annoying ... give us a good story line with sex sprinkled in, don’t overwhelm us! Like this author did a great job with that. I look forward to reading more of the Kings of Rebellion. Though, I do wish something were shown more and not glossed over, I still think the author did a good job with the balance of MC life and the couples love story. Oh- and I love how Scrappy didn’t try to fight his feelings once he truly discovered them. Same for Erica. That was truly refreshing.

Now I really love this series. I have read all 6 books in a week. I couldn’t put the damn things down.
Scrappy’s story I did feel was rushed in some parts. There have been some real cliff hangers in previous stories but I didn’t feel there was enough guts to this one. I did enjoy it just felt it was lacking in some areas sadly. Still would recommend and really looking forward to the next Affection.

I have all of the books in Kings of Rebellion and they have all been good to me not great but good enough to want to finish the series but....the last few books what screamed out at me was the wording of some things. This author uses "sat" where sit or siting should be. I would be reading along and that would come up in a sentence and it would stop the flow of my reading because it was not right and it threw me completely off and I had to get back into the reading flow again and it stopped me every time and it happened quite a bit in this book. I loved Scrappy & Erica and I was so glad that they finally got their HEA. I loved that he had kept Erica to himself since he did have LOTS of women in between Erica returning and didn't mind sharing that information with the other guys. The twist in the book kept us going until the end. Would I recommend this book?? Yes especially if you have been reading the series since the first book. Please keep in mind that the reason it dropped a couple of stars was because of the above mentioned with the "sat" issue. It may not bother anyone but me but for me it was bothersome enough to make my review a three star. I am in no way the writing police and it could be that where she uses "sat" instead of sit or sitting is spot on and I am totally wrong BUT it just messed with the flow of my reading EVERY TIME!!!

Loved it!!

I love every character from this series. I love everything about this series. Awesome job again KT for bringing more of my beloved Kings!! My only complaint I always wish the books were longer.
Cannot wait for Ryder's book.
I highly recommend this MC series.

Next instalment

I really enjoyed the book, it followed on from the others really well.

I must admit though, I was confused as to why the epilogue was there. If anything it should have been arty the start of the book .

Other than that, a great book.

Second chances. Hero had a sexual encounter after seeing heroine to convince himself of his indifference.

Very disjointed story, did not flow seamlessly.

Great story!

This is a new author to me. I loved the story and the characters! I only have it 4 stars, due to lots of spelling mistakes and grammatical errors.
