Aurora Purdue is shocked by the sexy voice on the other end. Though she quickly realizes she didn’t call the person she’d intended, she definitely doesn’t regret the misdial.
It can also save it…
Dane Hawkins has experienced many things as a cop, but nothing could prepare him for the fear after discovering his woman has been taken. Sure, they’d only talked for five minutes, but that doesn’t make her any less his.
Warning: This instalove story is part of the Forever Safe series and also serves as the first book in my upcoming Accidental Connection series. It features a Hero that knows exactly what he wants and won’t let anyone or anything stand in his way.
Well, after reading that sweet/sexy story, I’d imagine that women and men everywhere are going to being randomly dialing wrong numbers to find themselves their very own Dane! I mean, how lucky is she to find a sexy, hot cop who isn’t a manwhore and is very protective and loving while dialing a wrong number?
HERODane was great. Protective, dedicated cop who knows she is the one by hearing her voice on the phone. He put her well being first and was so caring towards her.
HEROINE Aurora was a sweetheart. A nurse who loved helping others. I appreciated that she didn’t push Dane away. Even though she was shy, she flirted back with him, to her own surprise
OW DRAMA Zero
OM DRAMA zero
STEAM Haven can bring the steam
SEPARATION No separation
SECONDARY CHARACTERS I can’t wait to read Aurora’s big brother Brant’s story as well as Tristan, Dane’s partner and long time best friend
VIOLENCE none of a sexual nature
SAFETY Safe neither with others after meeting. Neither are virgins.
It's my first Haven Rose book and I loved it! It was cute, sweet, funny at times and with a bit of suspense and the suspense was not what I expected.
The story is about Dane and Aurora 'Rory'.
She's a nurse. She accidentally dialled the wrong number instead of her brother.
He's a detective. He answered the call and even though he hasn't met her yet, he already felt a connection and knew she's the one.
When he learned she's in danger, he knew he had to find and save her.
It has beautiful epilogues.
I loved how caring and protective he was of her. He's an amazing man who loved his work but will always put her first. I also loved that she didn't fight him for keeping her safe. It didn't mean she's a weak heroine. She just knew it's for her own good. I really liked them together.
I can't wait to read her brother, Brant's story and his best friend, Tristan's story.
This was a cute sweet quick pace read and i am blesseddd!!! Ill take this type of alpha over the last books i have read.
Aurora has done what i have done many times dial the wrong number.. i get rude ppls who answer when i do it.. This girl gets a hunky sexy guy who saves her from a guy who sorta kidnapped her.. and once he finally has her safe and sound. He can't keep away wanting to protect her from this now stalker who wants to hurt her.
I enjoyed their chemistry and the friendship Dane has with her brother and his partner.. what made me rate this a 4 star.. the stalker who caused all this drama! To not really hurt or be bad near the end.. i didn't get that switch.. beside that i loved every moment.
No ow drama slight om drama, dramaish, secondary charas, sexy times, no virgins and no manwhores!
Recommend- yes Cover-⭐⭐⭐
Instalove/lust No condom/pill Safeish Hea Epilogue
“I love you, Aurora. I was put on this earth to do so until my last breath.”
This is the 8th book in the Forever Safe series. Great story and characters. -neither virgins -dual POV -no OW drama -no abuse -no cheating -epilogue at 7 and 15 years
If you haven't started this series yet, I definitely recommend. All standalones and don't need to be read in order.
This wasn’t a comedy but it might as well have been. I couldn’t stop laughing. Just ridiculous honestly. I thought it was an interesting premise but quickly realized it was not what I was looking for.

The Hopeful Heart de Haven Rose Serie Forever Safe libro 8/ Accidental Connection libro 1
Argumento:
The hopeful heart is book eight in the forever safe romance series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. The hopeful heart is the first book of Haven Rose’s that I have read. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Aurora Purdue never meant to phone a stranger. After dialling the wrong number, she ends up speaking to her future husband. Detective Dane Hawkins hasn’t had any interest in woman for a good while. When he gets a call of a woman dialling the wrong number, he knows she is the one for him after a short chat. When Dane learns that Aurora is in danger, he knows he has to find and save his woman even though hasn’t met her yet. The chemistry between Aurora and Dane is clear to see and I liked them together. They’re perfect for one another. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an enjoyable read.
This is such a great book! I love romance books with a bit of suspense but not too much to over take the romance. I absolutely loved how they met. There wasn’t a thing I didn’t like about either main characters. Yes it’s the 8th book in the series but can be read as a stand alone. It’s told in dual point of view, which is my favorite way to read romance books. -Safe -Instalove -No ow/m drama -Perfect amount of suspense -Steamy - 2 epilogues 7 years & 15 years out
This shorty was just what I needed! Who doesn't want to imagine falling for a wrong number call? And adding some mystery into it all? The suspense was thrilling, trying to figure out what was going on with the case but having all the OTT love all around for more than the usual second we get in short books was just so great! And then those epilogues giving us some fun sneak peaks at the future just made my smile grow even wider! What are you waiting for? Go read it now!!
This was such a great read. It had me on the edge of my seat and curling my toes at multiple spots. The mystery guy from thr beginning and the flowers really threw me for a loop at first but I was able to eventually put it all together before Dane did. Dane, Brant, and Aurora had quite the journey together and I was very happy with the ending. No cliffhanger and a HEA is promised.
I got about two thirds in and decided I just could not finish it. I was excited when I read the blurb because I'm all about wrong number tropes but this was insta love on steroids....like they said about two sentences on the phone and he decided she was his future wife. The "suspense" part of it was lacking and this book quickly became more of a porno flick.
Although this story wasn't bad, it was a very quick read but the insta-love and fast pace just didn't do it for me. If you enjoy a sweet possessive cop and an equally sweet nurse with a tiny bit of drama then this might be right up your street.
This was a cute story. Seriously fast fast fast insta-love. I mean, there were about ten words in total said over the phone when a wrong number was dialed. It was quick and easy, though, and that was what I was looking for.
Love at first accidental phone call, count me in! Aurora & Dane's instant connection with each other was beautiful and I liked that she had the smarts to call him on the sly not even knowing that he was a detective at the time. I would have liked a little more explanation on what happened with the flowers that made her pass out in the hospital, but maybe it just confusing to me idk. Other than that I felt that this was a good short book to spend my Friday morning reading. Next book in the Accidental Connection series is hopefully about Aurora's brother Brant, Rant lol, who seems like an awesome brother/dad figure that I can't wait to see get his own HEA.
This was an absolutely adorable romance! Haven Rose is a new to me author and I couldn't be happier with my discovery. Dane is a police officer who answers his phone and falls in love. Aurora has a horrible habit of transposing her brother's number when she uses her keypad. Fortunately today she gets to talk to a handsome-sounding guy. After a few minutes of chatting, Dane makes it know he really wants to talk to Aurora again. It really feels like Fate had a hand in these two meeting. I loved the instant connection they had, talk about a cute meet! I loved every word of this safe and sexy romance and I can't wait to get my hands on more stories from the talented Haven Rose!
I really enjoyed Dane & Aurora's story! I absolutely LOVE how they met!! Their story is fun, quick, and has just the right amount of steam.
I wasn't as happy with the mystery/drama portion of the story, however. It started out really good & was very interesting - I was on the edge of my seat to find out what was going on w/ it... and then it just sorta... dropped off suddenly & felt like the resolution was too quick & not detailed enough after the talented way it was built up through the rest of the story. Still, I liked the story & thought the epilogues were cute! : )
Short warm steamy book. Finding forever in instant heartbeat. Started off really quick into action, but developed rather heartwarming; not losing any bits of romancing. I liked how the relationship bloomed from instant-attraction-amidst-life-threatening-scene to a honest sweet relationship. Lots of details were thron along the way, maybe because there'll be sequel. Cant wait to read the next book on Brant :)
I haven't read many from this author. From what I'm to understand she's a little newer in writing and publishing. That being said, this story was cute. I liked the idea of a wrong number changing your life and finding ones soulmate. However, my biggest pet peeve in this story was in the beginning she laid out the main characters in her story. Aurora's brothers name is suppose to be Grant...But in the story his name was Brant. It's just aggravating and confusing when this happens.
Wow! Highly recommended for quick, hot, feel good read!
I don’t normally review books but this one is off the charts great. The ever loving alpha male obsessively in insta- love with his woman, heat between the two is off the charts hot, a little dramatic suspense, all the components for a flipping fantastic quick read. Definitely a reread! You won’t be able to put it down!
Oh yeah this was a cute and filled with page turning suspense. Although I truly like Dane and Rory, I found Brant to be a scene stealer and I cannot wait to read his story.
This one was just what I was looking for and it had just the right amount of love and intrigue to keep me turning the pages.
This is a first read from this author and I am looking forward to more. While not a long story, it manages to convey all the feels. Love at first...voice? Yup, believe it. This book contains a slightly OTT hero, a strong heroine, a protective older brother (can’t wait for his story) and a little bit of mystery. What’s not to love?
