The 2nd book in this series of authors and it was good i enjoyed it and it was pretty steamy.
Meadow is in deep.. she con the wrong MC and was caught. Now zipped tied and left in the dark she is waiting and seeing what shall happen, is she dead or can she do another con to get free. She meets Chain the treasure of the club and the one who is in charge of her. They start off on a rocky start but their is a connection and a flirtly banter between the two plus she honest with him about her name and what she does. Now shes chained to him and has to work on getting on the clubs good side.
The chemistry was good between the two even if she tried to rob the club Chain would do anything to protect her, as for Meadow shes making sure the club gets their money and some. But their is a tiny problem a past con comes back. Now the chain needs to keep his girl safe.
Only thing i disliked was he had a chain/leash around her neck it wasnt my thing. :/

This book was so horrible!!! Please understand that nothing done in this book was ok I finished it because in reality I was hoping that maybe it was going to change but I go back to think about how chain treated Meadow and it was beyond horrific
If your into the whole collar and chained like an animal thing then listen to each it’s own but it was horrible for me
I felt that even though she enjoyed the sex it was practically rape and then him slapping her across her body was not ok for me a little spanking ok a little rough ok but this man literally slaps her and knows she’s in pain I know a lot of people find that that’s their kink but omg
And please let’s mention the fact that he tells her that he’s going to go in her raw without a condom As punishment like what??? She had only known him 3 fucking days!!!

Wanted a quick and steamy short read and this was perfect! I can always count on this author to give me the best palate cleanse… short drama free romance. 🥰 plus I really liked this couple❤️ it starts off a bit different than your usual sweet love-at-first-sight story since the FMC was caught with her hand in the safe at Heartland MC. Most people would be dead but they chain her up in the basement to get some answers. She has no fear and is very bold and sassy so I loved it!

I normally hate heroine being a thief, but this heroine was different, she was not some kind of normal “thief”.
Meadow’s father was an Astro-physicist by education and her mother had a PhD in computational mathematics from UC Berkeley. And she was FREAKING brilliant and intelligent, and she knew how to make money make more money with her talents and con artist. She was FUUUUCKING attractive when she was using her talents negotiating. 😍😍😍
I taught myself simple cons at first. Taking from assholes and bullies mostly then working my way up to bigger fish and better change. It’s been three years and it’s become my life. I don’t feel good about it, but I certainly don’t feel bad.
I knew it was wrong to be a thief, so I hate most of thief kind of heroine, but this heroine was not some stupid and annoying brat.
And
Yesss,
she was caught when she just opened Motorcycles Club’s safety chest one day. Hahahahaha, but when I read continually I found out heroine was brave, bold and likeable. Her parents are dead, and after that she lived by herself through her con tactics for a living. She helped poor people and animals with the money she conned from rich jerks. And then she caught by Chain and other buddies when she was opening their club’s safety chest.😆😆😆😂😂😂
A few minutes later, she’s got a slick MacBook open and I’m staring at the most organized spreadsheet from a con artist I’ve ever seen.
“See, here’s the utility con. It’s not my best, but for clubs and bars it works well most of the time. I list the take here, what expenses I deduct. Then, on this sheet...”
She clicks a couple times, and there’s another Excel sheet where she points to a six-figure number at the bottom.
“So, over time, after investing, this is what the utility work has generated—less what I’ve paid out, given away or whatever. I guess what I can do, is help you guys invest. You’re the treasurer, why did they choose you?”
I shake my head, but tell her.
“My dad was the treasurer. Taught me from when I was about ten how it worked. What the different streams of revenue generated. Things were different, though, back then they were into some stuff that the club is easing out of. They had prostitutes; we don’t do that. Drugs.” I shrug. “Weed is legal now, and that’s about the only product we really kept running. We’re looking for some other revenue streams. More legit.”
She bites into her bottom lip. “I could help your money make money. If that will help, I’ll get it set up, show you what I do. If it will buy my way out of this...” She tugs on the collar.
“That was the deal.”
She smiles and I see the sweet angel in her face, but I also see the hardened woman who’s not had a life of ease, and I want to change that. For whatever crazy reason, this little felon has possessive instincts I didn’t know I had rising up and taking over, thawing out the usual cool distance I keep with most people.
Just like the previous book of this series, hero was one of the motorcycles club, and he was hot and sexy and tough. So when he wanted to punish her, she convinced him, and then they finally get on agreement and made a deal, a deal they both satisfied, along with his punishment to her, which was spicy and hot hahahaha.😅😅😅😍😍😍

Chain was crazy in love with with her and was insane captivated by her beauty, her spirits and her brilliant mind. They were stronger when they solving problems together. (HIGHLY RECOMMEND to read the whole story, I don’t want to spoil more~~🥹🥹🥹)
He gathers me into his arms, then frowns. “I think I should remove this,” he says, pulling on the collar, but I shake my head.
“Leave it. I like belonging to you. I like knowing that you’re protecting me and keeping me safe. That collar reminds me that I’m yours. It’s our thing.” I lift myself up, wrapping my legs around his waist, knowing that he can take my weight with ease. “I love you.”

I now fall in love with the whole family of Motorcycle’s Club. Couldn’t wait to read the third one, if the plots were as interesting ass this one.!!!!

Meadow was something else. A Robin Hood type if you will. After a traumatic event occurred. She took her future into her own hands and never let anyone or anything stop her.
Now her latest job had her in a bind she was caught with her hands in the cookie jar. Now what would happen to her next.
Now Chain just could not believe what was before him. A Siren that made him lose his mind. Oh he new she was a con artist but she intrigued him. So he gave her a little leeway but she would learn he was in control and she would learn to like it.

Wow that story was freaking hot 🔥 but sweet as heck as well. Freaking loved how Chain dominated his woman but was kind and sweet as well. This story had everything it, steamy parts, romance, sweetness and a bit of action. Instant love and a HEA. Can't get better. Awesome second book of a new series. I totally love that the MC isn't the hardened type that disrespects women. Their like a family that protects each other. Can't wait for the next book😍😍😍😍

My favorite moments were when big tough biker Chain was a softie. *SPOILERS* Like when he’s mother henning over his kids, worried when they’ve been away from them for just a couple hours on a date lol. He’s like should I call the kids? I worry. Yeah I’m gonna call them. lol. Such a marshmallow. But only in that one scene in the epilogue.

When the MC have church Meadow is saved by one vote. Chain takes her to the clubhouse so she can show them how to add zeros to their bank account. When they head to another MC clubhouse Meadow recognizes a few guys that come walking into the bar. She tells Chain how much she stole from them and why. He walks over to them and gets in their face, pretty soon all fist are flying. Meadow gets kidnapped and Chain chases after her. Chain gets Meadow back, and they both insist the guys pay back the money they stole plus interest. When they get to back to the clubhouse, they have church and it’s an unanimous vote to let her stay. Two months later, Meadow is pregnant and Chain is letting her have her first solo ride. Ten years later, Chain takes Meadow to a cabin to celebrate their anniversary. They have seven kids and are working on number eight.

First things first; I love the cover of this book!
Chain is book two in the ‘’heartlands MC’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Meadow Greene is a modern day robin hood. She robs from the greedy and helps the needy. When her latest mark ends with her caught, she is wary. Chain is the treasurer of the heartlands MC. He and his brothers are angry at catching the thief red handed. Whilst his brothers are angry and want the girl gone, Chain feels and attraction towards her. Will he get his girl and will he be able to keep her safe?
The chemistry between Chain and Meadow is clear to see and I liked them as a couple. The sexual chemistry between them was through the roof.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.

What a Great MC read!! This one had everything I needed! The obsessed possessive alpha biker, and the sassy, tough as nails, nothing but trouble woman.
Meadow has been through so much in her short life and has been on her own for some time. Never picturing herself settling down, thinking she would be the Nomad that her parents were. She never saw Chain coming.
Chain new as soon as he saw her that this feisty little piece of trouble was meant to be his, and he would do whatever it takes to keep and protect her.
This one was a pager turner from beginning to end. I didn’t want it to end! Love Dani and all of her words and I can’t wait for her next release!!

MC books aren’t really my thing but I’m tired of reading the same stories so I’m giving this series a try.
I did enjoy the book. It was well written and the sex was pretty hot. But men who would lock a woman up in a basement and threaten to cut off her fingers or murder her and have votes on if they should do it, aren’t my idea of a fantasy man. Might have to go back to my blue collar/mountain man/fireman books. Hard working honest men who would never throw a zip-tied woman in the basement to pee in a bucket and wonder if she’s going to die. But ya-know, that’s just me.

Meadow is a grifter and according to her she takes from the takers. But when she sets her sights on the Heartlands MC, she gets way more than she bargained for. She tries to hustle them and now they want payback, but the second Chain lays eyes on her he knows she's his and now he has to figure out how to appease his club and keep his woman. This is a great read and I highly recommend it!

When Meadow tried to steal from the Heartlands MC she thought she was taking from the bad guys to give to those who need it. Problem with that, they aren't the bad guys. You would never know that by how Chain treated her but he had his reasons. He's pretty rough and tough. It's really a good book. You'll have to read it to understand. Wild. Enjoy. Written by Cindy :)

Chain and Meadow may not see eye to eye, but they wear each other down until they're both in a puddle of want. Meadow gets caught from stealing from the local MC club and Chain is the one in charge of the little thief. His feelings towards her change the way he's supposed to handle things, but everything turns out well for everyone in the end. Loving this series.

This one is a little more hardcore than the first. Chain is an over the top alpha male and he is rough in the bedroom. Meadow is caught stealing from the MC and Chain punishes her. I liked both characters. Meadow is a Robin Hood type person, though I wish she told us how she made all her money. ;) Sweet ending.

I feel like the author tried too hard to make this a rough and raw motorcycle club romance. I think I would have liked it more if she had just kept it as an instalove in an MC. Loved the character and the epilogues, though.
