The start of a biker series with 4 different authors!! I am ready!! This was pretty short and steamy-ish. We got some hints of the other guys!!

Ranger is on his way back to the compound but stops when he sees a car and someone in distress, he sees Ruby he knows somethings is pulling him to her. And once she tells him shes a run away and her story he makes it his mission to make sure shes safe and sound. Once they are back at the clubhouse he is protective of her and i love it.. you got a biker who isnt a manwhore and is doing everything in his power to keep his woman happy. As for Ruby since her father is a man of the church she is 100000% innocent and only knows few things but shes so pure.. and trusting. Which is good and bad in my mind. But their is some misunderstanding and drama that causes her to up and run back home to save her younger sibling. As for Ranger he has to find his woman and keep her safe.

Low angst, no ow/om (unless you count slider), no cheating, drama, slight secondary chara, sexy times, virgin gal and no manwhore.

Recommend- yes

Loved it!

4.5 Stars

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. This is a completely safe MC romance and I loved that. Ruby is fleeing from an arranged marriage and has car trouble. Ranger sees a young woman stranded on the side of the road and stops to help. He was unprepared for the feelings that hit him when he sees her. She’s his angel and he will do anything/everything to protect her. I loved these two together. The only issue I had was when she asked him what his real name was he avoided the question and didn’t tell her. That is something important that he should have shared with her.

Safety and Spoilers
Completely safe. No ow drama, h is running from an arranged marriage. The om is a dirty man who was going to sell her and her sister for their virginity. There is some drama. H’s past isn’t mentioned but he has been celibate for a while and h is a virgin. No abuse.

The couple: Ranger and Ruby

Romance genre: MC; insta-love
Series: Heartlands Motorcycle Club
Length: 108 pages

Plot: Ranger rescues Ruby when he sees her car broken down on the side of the road. He's ex-Army, a member of the MC, and she's a preacher's daughter running away from the life her father wants her to live. But when she needs to go back to rescue her little sister, what will Ranger do?

Commentary: The ultra-innocent preacher's daughter is a great trope, especially since this is MC-lite; it allows for the contrast between the H and h to be highlighted. Ranger is a wonderful hero, with the care he takes with Ruby once he meets her. If you're looking for a softer MC story, where there's an emphasis on the relationship rather MC-related violence and mayhem, then this is the series for you.

Next book in the series: Chain

Ranger and Ruby. I love their story. I feel Ranger loves Ruby more than she loved him. Ruby was innocent and she was FUCKING annoying because of her immature attitude. But it was a good story.

I catch Killian’s eye and he walks right over to me. “What’s the deal?” he asks. As the club president’s son, he wants to know before any shit hits the fan.

“I got Ruby upstairs and she’s staying with me tonight.”

He grins. “Oh, she’s got a name now?”

“Fuck you,” I say with a laugh.

“It’s just funny, you taking a girl home.”

“Why’s that funny?” I ask, already knowing the answer.

“You’ve turned down every woman in this bar at least twice. Never sleep with a soul when we go on rides for the weekend. You’re solo.”

“It’s not like that. Ruby was stranded — she needed help.”

Killian laughs. “Okay, Ranger, whatever you wanna call it.”

I grunt. He isn’t wrong — Ruby is beautiful, and I’ve never been tempted by another woman because no other woman has been her. She’s different. Soft in ways that my hard heart craves. Quiet in a way that makes my restless mind still. I’ve known her an hour and yet I would move heaven and earth to make sure she’s in my bed tonight.

Ranger never had paid attention to woman around him, he was sexy, hot, and also he was a man has his own words. He never slept around because no one had ever got his attention. Until that rainy day, he met Ruby, the FUCKING ANNOYING HEROINE innocent beautiful angel.

I feel her eyes on my naked body, and look over my shoulder to check. Yep. She’s zoomed in. I admit it, I flex my ass just because I can.

“I’ll grab another towel, don’t worry.”
She shakes her head, cheeks turning bright red, her damp hair falling into her eyes. She brushes it aside. “You don’t need to on my account. I mean… I think you look very… nice.”

I grin, turning to her, cupping my junk with my hands. “Nice, huh? I suppose I oughta get another towel to cover up all this niceness.”

She licks her lips, emptying the dustpan in the trash, setting the broom aside, and then she gets on her hands and knees, wiping away the water that was spilled.

Fuck, seeing her down there like that makes my cock twitch again, harder now. Longing. Desperate. I step toward her.

“There,” she says. “All cleaned up.” She looks up, eyes on my hands — hands that are attempting to cover my cock. “You don’t need to get a towel if you don’t want.”

“No?” I say, wondering where this might lead.

“No. I mean… I…” She shakes her head. Flustered. “I don’t know what I’m saying.”

“It’s okay,” I say, taking her hand and helping her stand, staying decent with my other hand. “You don’t have to know what you want.”

She frowns, indignant. “Oh, I know what I want.”

My mouth twitches, and I suppress a smile. Damn, this girl is adorable when she gets herself worked up. “You do?”
She shrugs. “I just don’t really know how to ask for it.”

Ruby was good when she was not annoying. But after what happened next, (I am too lazy to write more details of how she runaway from hero, how she made stupid decision, all of those I don’t wanted to write down because because I god damn hate her) she really made me feel dislike her more and more. I love Hero more MORE MORE than her.

“That was incredible,” I tell her, leaning down and kissing her again, unable to help myself. I want to hold her all night — I won’t let her go.

She seems to understand. We kiss until sleep demands an answer, and so we turn on our sides. I spoon her tightly, our hands held, her body nestled snug against mine, and I breathe her in. She smells like a summer rainstorm, like my favorite peppermint shampoo. She smells like a woman. My woman. Mine.

I fall asleep dreaming of a future with a woman whose past I barely know.

I dream of a life with this fragile stranger, who made her way into my arms, who sleeps pressed against my heart.

Very great reading, if it were not this annoying and stupid heroine, I could definitely give this one five stars.

“Before you came into my life, I hadn’t slept a full night in years. I was haunted by things I’ve seen, things I’ve done. And then you came along and I could rest. In your arms, Ruby, I found peace. I love you. And you don’t need to say it back. But you do need to know it’s the goddamn truth.”

She swallows, pulling me toward her. “Before you, I didn’t think… didn’t believe men like you existed.” Tears fall from her eyes.

“I’m real, Ruby. And I’m yours.”

Such a perfect and sweet hero, could have been better if heroine wasn’t FUCKING annoying like that.♥️♥️♥️

ONE MORE THING: when I read a book I FUCKING HATE IT when heroine wanted her sister live together with hero and herself, it might cause may seducing kind of drama in the real life, and I FUCKING HATE IT when heroine in this book asked hero agreed to let her sister live with them, that’s my thing, I just don’t like this plot.

Frankie Love has given a great start to the new collaboration series Heartlands Motorcycle Club with her contribution, Ranger. Ruby, a preacher's daughter, is on the run from an arranged marriage and in serious danger when Ranger finds her on the side of a road. With just a look, Ranger decides to take her home with him and quickly realizes that he wants her to remain by his side forever. Ruby has very strong emotions for Ranger as well, but has to confront her past before she can move forward. Frankie delivers a quick, safe read with an alpha MC celibate hero, a sheltered yet strong virgin heroine and no cheating. There is slight om drama due to the unwanted arranged marriage. Great read and I can't wait for the rest of the series!

Let me preface this review by saying that my Kindle caught fire. Legit caught fire. Miss Frankie Love this is one sexy hot romance read. Emphasis on the sexy hot. Ranger is ex military and now an MC member. He is one sexy bearded motorcycle man. Ruby is a corrupt preacher’s daughter. She’s on the run and Ranger saves her. From the moment he see’s her he is all in. She is more hesitant but eventually falls hard for her savior. A steamy happily ever after read. TBR and enjoy.

Fast instalove

This story was ok for what it is suppose to be which was a very fast paced fall in love, marriage, baby. For me, I've read many MC books and that aspect of the book was lacking for me.

Frankie Love rocked this MC romance. Done with a different take on MC, which is nice now and then.

Ranger and Ruby - the total package alpha and the shy damsel. Are totally a match made in insta-heaven. Such a great read in which you get a front row seat on the rollercoaster they go though but because they are so memorable, you will hang on every up and down.

Ruby's on the run from her father, who has sold her into marriage. Ranger comes across her when her car breaks down and helps her out. She is pure, innocent, and pretty naive to the world. Ranger is a former Army Ranger , member of a MC, and lived a full life. He rescues her and decides to protect and make her his own. The story is well paced, interesting, and steamy. Overall a good read

It’s been a while since i read MC book.

You see, this is what i want to read.

• safe
•no cheating
•hero is not manwhore
•heroine is not annoying
•hero is well respected to heroine and he’s the one who said the L word to heroine before her!

But the most important here is..

THIS MC DOESN’T HAVE BITCH OR WHOREWOMEN ON THERE SIDE

and that’s the good thing I’ve ever read!. Usually I always read in the past is they have bitch/whore women on the back story. ARG DISGUSTING they ruin my fantasy (lol).

So for now I would like to continue to read more mc story safe. And i will recommend this to my friends.

The biker and the preacher's daughter

Look out comes here comes the start of a brand new MC series by Frankie Love. Ranger is a motorcycle riding hero, at least for young Ruby. Her father has made a deal with a devil .............. Ruby in exchange for a bigger church. So she is on the run but things don't quite go as planned as her car has a meltdown leaving Ruby stranded on the side of the road. Along comes Ranger on his way back to the MC clubhouse when he spots her and pulls over as her day is about to get even worse. He does save her form injury and then gets her to tell him why she is running. Let's just say this protective Alpha biker goes into full gear and is determined to keep her safe. Ruby is attracted to Ranger as he is not like anyone she has met before. Since her father is a preacher this beautiful young woman has led a sheltered life and is beyond innocent. But Ranger is about to dirty her up, or at least help her find her dirty side. But they do not get to ride off into the sunset quite yet as there are things happening with Ruby's younger sister now so Ruby decides she has to save her. When Ranger discovers she has left he will not rest until her has her back in his arms where he can keep her save.
Will Ranger get there in time to save Ruby and her younger sister? Will the biker and the preacher's daughter ride off into the sunset? You will just have to read this book to find out.

Ranger is the first book in a four book series where each book is by a different author. I thought Ranger was well written with a definite MC "lite" story-line. It is sweet, and romantic but also has drama, emotion and a bit of evil mixed in. As with all Frankie Love stories there is also a nice sizzle to the relationship between Ruby and Ranger.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

Ruby is running from having to marry a man who gave her father's church a huge donation in exchange for her hand in marriage. Ruby's car breaks down on the side of the road. Ranger is out riding his motorcycle after scouting routes for a possible road trip and is heading back to the bar he runs for the Heartlands Motorcycle Club. Ranger spots Ruby pacing back and forth by her broken down car and stops to see if he can help. Ranger saves Ruby's life when her car explodes with all her possessions inside. Ranger offers Ruby a place to stay and puts her on the back of his bike. Ruby is innocent, sheltered and clings to Ranger once they reach the bar. Ruby knows she should be afraid but feels safe with Ranger. Ranger and Ruby are attracted to each other and give into their mutual passion. After telling Ranger about her "groom", Slider, Ruby sees Ranger having drinks with him in the bar. Is Ranger going to hand Ruby over to Slider? What does Ruby do when she overhears Slider talking about his upcoming marriage? What does Ranger do when he realizes who his friend is to Ruby? Can Ranger save Ruby when he discovers she has disappeared? Will Ruby realize that she can trust Ranger? Will Ruby and Ranger find their happily ever after? I love Frankie Love! Ranger is another fantastic book with great characters. The chemistry between Ranger and Ruby will melt your kindle. Ranger is the ultimate alpha male who will protect those who he loves and considers family. I would definitely recommend getting Ranger by Frankie Love and the other books in the Heartlands Motorcycle Club series.

The plot, the context, the emotions the scenes are believable and just a great story.
Ranger fresh out of the military.
Ruby running from her father and his attempt to sell her for a bigger church.
Oh there's a twist there.
She left her sixteen year old sister there thinking she was safe because of her age.
Slyder the "buyer" there is a twist there
Ruby stole a car from her fathers lawn but it broke down only eight hours away from her home.
Ranger spots her and offers to help but as he is accessing the car it catches fire and kinda explodes.
Taking her back to his bar/clubhouse/apartment she is a little skittish.
She has a week of happiness filled with new a lover and friends. But men in her life have always disappointed her so after Ranger confesses he loves her she finds a way to pick a fight.
A misunderstanding sends her running scared back home right into the hands of the devil.
Ranger searches high and low for her.
Bikes roaring, brothers banding together, fists, guns and blood.
Believe it or not after that Ranger wakes up in the hospital not willing to waste another minute for his HEA with the love of his life.
The book is intense, emotional, dramatic, romantic and touches on evil at the hands of those we trust, deep betrayals and renewed faith in love and happiness.

Frankie Love pens a delightful biker romantic suspense with Ranger, the first book in the Heartland MC series. In this installment readers meet Ruby and Ranger. Ruby lives in a religious colony where her father is the pastor. When she finds out that his intention is to well her to Slider, an unsavory man, as his bride, she runs away leaving behind a 16-year-old-sister, Lydia. Ranger is the MC’s Road captain and a former Army Ranger. He is out scouting new routes for an upcoming biker run. Ranger finds her on the side of the road with car trouble. He pulls over to assist and is immediately attracted to her. The feeling is mutual. He takes her to his club for safekeeping and thus begins their romantic journey. Will Ranger and Ruby find happiness? Will her father and Slider pursue her? What happens with Lydia? To find out what unfolds in this dynamic biker romance, you must read this book.

Ms. Love does a remarkable job with suspenseful biker romance. She masterfully creates multi-dimensional lead characters who are quite likeable. As the first book in the series, she takes her time introducing many of the bikers of the Heartland MC. I enjoy how she portrays the brotherhood within an MC. Readers witness how these bikers who often play the tantalizing role of the anti-hero. This MC no longer operates on the wrong side of the law. They are revamping their club activities and building legitimate business. I like how they abide by the strict codes of brotherhood. These motorcycle-riding, leading men are rough around the edges, with an undeniable soft spot for the women who love them. Ms. Love skillful use of literacy devices such as dialog, dual POV, and descriptive language allows her to garner her readers attention. I am looking forward to reading the rest of this series.

Fate is a wonderful thing
Ranger is riding his motorbike back to the bar when he sees a car on the side of the road and a beautiful woman who looks like she is in emotional pain. Ruby is on the run from her father who is forcing her into a marriage with a evil man. She doesn't know what has happened to her father but he wont listen to her or her sister to say his man is mean and she thinks he is a criminal. When Ranger stops to offer help he quickly get rugby away from the car moments before it explodes with all her belongings inside. Ruby is a mess so Ranger takes her back to his flat which is above the MC bar.
Ruby feels things she has never had before and she feels brave with Ranger but can she trust him????
This is a great short read that will have you addicted to Ruby and Ranger. Its amazing to see her blossom and be the person she has not been able to be under the thumb of her father. I couldnt put this one down and cant wait for the next book out by Frankie love

First things first; I love the cover of this book!
Ranger is book one in the ‘’heartlands MC’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. When Ranger sees a young woman broken down on the side of the road, he has to stop and help. From the moment he meets Ruby, he feels and instant connection. Ruby is on the run from an arranged marriage when her car breaks down. When Ranger offers her help, will she trust him and accept?
The chemistry between Ranger and Ruby is clear to see and I liked them as a couple.
I really liked Lydia and Ruby’s bond.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

WOW! ok I fell in love with Ruby from the first moment. She has been through the ringer and Ranger is there to pick up the pieces. These two have an EXPLOSIVE chemistry that will burn your kindle. Ranger he is nothing but a good guy and he knows just as soon as he sees Ruby that she is the ONLY one for him. This was one of the best reads so far that I have read and it is in a genre that you will definitely fall in love with. I hope there will be MORE with this MC because you meet others within the MC in this book. Frankie is an AWESOME writer who writes with heart. I swear she puts her soul into each of her books. What a fantastic read!

Lets give you a quick summary..
📚📚📚
Quick read with Insta-love and so much sex , the hero was instantly in love with heroine , not my everyday type of read , but sometimes i love them as much...Heroine being a damstel in distress rescued by hero , spends time together , have instantly sex on day 2 , hero profess love after few weeks , heroine doesn't have such faith in him , but feeling is mutual without admitting it , after some misunderstanding , she runs away without hearing explaination and after few hours all is well.. Made up , few weeks spend some time making up , having sex and Epilouge ...
😄😄😄

Loved this story! Ranger is the kind of rough and tumble alpha you dream of finding. He lives by his convictions, protects those he feels need it, and loves Ruby with his whole heart. Ruby is an extremely shelter young woman, running away from a bad situation. She's innocent, sweet, and stronger than she believes. They meet by chance, but the sparks are off the charts hot! Add in some danger, some intrigue, and this is a story worth reading more than once! Can't wait to read about the other members of the Heartland MC.

Ruby and Ranger meet on the side a road and there is an insta attraction. Ruby has been shelter Ed all her life but when she meets ranger it’s like she comes a live. And Ranger the brooding biker also changes his tune when he comes upon Ruby on the side of the highway. But insta love isn’t always easy. And when the past comes back to haunt them they will have to fight for there lives literally.

This book was sweet and fun and full of insta love goodness and sweet alpha bikers! Can’t wait for the next book in this collaboration series.

I liked this book, but it was entirely too fast. I felt like nothing was developed to the extent that it could’ve been, the relationship was rushed and insta-lovey to the max, and I didn’t get to actually enjoy the book before it was over. Like I had no time to ship the couple together at all and I had absolutely no time to get attached to any of it. I could see what the author was trying to do, but there was no real effort put in. It felt like I was reading a first draft or outline of the book. I feel like I got all the necessary stuff but no details whatsoever. I just read through the book with an overwhelming amount of disappointment.
