I love mermaids and this book is a great read. There is a mystery going on with this book that kept me reading til the end. It seems as though there are many different types mermaids and something is going on. So we meet Zaniah who has been waiting to be able to walk above for four years to attend Pirate Cove Academy. Unfortunately something crazy arises the night she is to get her legs. This is where so many questions occur for me? So we have the mer people and now sirens besides the land dwellers? Then there is talks of hunters? So now she is top side and not with her bloodsworn but someone pretending to be. Even though he is the bad guy, he is hot!! Which he also seems to have been watching her and maybe in love with her? I think he is definitely one to watch for. Then you have Hy, I am not sure about him for the fact that he keeps disappearing. So will Zan be able to get to the bottom of the issue? Will she be able to step up and become strong enough to succeed? Well I do not know because she gets some information that is mind blowing. Then what her dad reveals!! Ugh Rae Foxx, why you got to be like that with that cliffhanger. For the level of heat I give five fires. So be prepared to get wet. LOL!! Rae, don't make me wait to long please.

nahh this was a bad one, i hated all the character. I loathed all the guys expect maybe Kai cuz he was not involved so much in this book ( i mean he was a prisoner the whole time) i hated how Hywel got fucked by the bitch Raven, like the fact his cock got hard even (yes she forced him, i know)... And Caspian is just plain nasty and annoying. the mc Zaniah was also pretty annoying, she was naive, kind of lost and just a bit meek.

Lots of screwing and super vulgar. You cant get super attached to the characters. The main character, Zaniah, is apparently an idiot. I mean embarrassingly so. There's no real emotional value in any of the characters. "I love you, but I'm still gonna get a boner and let this chick I hate do me while you are 20ft away"....the steamy is explicit is the only reason I even have it 3 stars

I'm torn about this book strictly because there's not enough detail for me theres a mystery but the plot jumped around and I'm not loving the characters write now. That being said the author dose have the beginnings of a good story it was just to short for me and Zaniah she's not very bright and I get very frustrated with female leads like this the steam factor is good though so I would read the second book just to see were the story will go from here. And I rated this a 3 but its more of a 3.4 stars for me.

Sadly this was a train wreck. but it was one of those wrecks that you pull over and make some popcorn for. This whole book is incredibly immature and I'm also not a fan of The "I'm gonna threaten you with SA but it's cool cuz I do it sexily" thing.
I love Why choose books and the spice definitely was there but this sex school for pirates/mermaids thing ultimately let me down. At one point one of the teachers asks " what do you think this is, a brothel?" I mean, yes, that is exactly what pirate Cove Academy is. A brothel with 19 year olds running around discovering what orgasms are for the first time and it's a LITERAL mess in those damn hallways.

Love this series its bringing a new outlook on mermaids, sirens and pirates. While Zaniah has to take Caspian the siren in place off her bloodswarn to attend the pirate cove academy due to the attack on her father the king and her fellow mer.
While on land she meets up with her pirate lover Hywel and then things start to go crazy. With some wicked twists and turns this book takes you on an epic ride above and below the sea. Cant say much more without giving away the wicked parts of the book so pick this baby up and get a wicked Mermaid fix

It's hard to write a super positive review since the arc i received only included the first 5 chapters. I'm not used to that when uploaded to booksprout. Zaniah's character definitely starts out as a character that's only after her own interests, Things change after Queen Aliz accuses her fater King Lir of killing her son an heir.Ch5 left off with her being pulled to the surface by Caspian.

Oh boy!
If you are looking for a fast burn, This. Is. It..... It's hot from the start! Captivating and definitely keeps you on your toes. And what a crazy twist to the end! My heart goes out to Zaniah and has me screaming for the next book so I can know she gets the ending she deserves!!!

I am unable to give this a good review, due to the fact that the ARC I was given only had 5 chapters and a statement hoping that I enjoyed the 5 chapter preview. The story line and character work were good in what I did read and it seemed to have a smooth flow to it.

This is book 1 of the Pirate Cove Academy series. I thought this was a really good read. I thought the characters where well developed and likable. The story is well written with a good flow. I also love the book cover. I’m looking forward to the next book and recommend reading.

Not what I was expecting.
It was fast paced and steamy from the very beginning. You follow the princess of the mermaid and she gets her land legs to attend school and learn about the world above. This crazy adventure picks up from the beginning and doesn't let go.

Well well well I was not expecting this mess, I'm not sure anyone really knows what's going on but Zania is really in over her head.. nothing is as it should be... How will she fix things can she fix it and who will help. Great read can't wait for the next book..

I love this book. The development in the Mer people and the Sirens is very interesting. The ability that Mer people can walk on land during a certain time period of their life is really cool. I think things are about to get crazy for Zaniah and soon to be men. Can’t wait to meet the men!

Oh I love mermaids. Really enjoyed this story. Steamy which is always a plus. Storyline is very interesting. I really liked Zaniah. Definitely a fast burn. Looking forward to reading book 2.

For an unknown spicy book about pirates, a mermaid princess and magic, this was a good series to read. The last book became a little plot boring but I enjoyed the most of these book
