A story within a story is what we get in this series as we find out more about the people who come to the rescue while battling their own issues. She doesn't trust him but he does intrigue her, or maybe unsettle is a better term. The problem is he is there for a reason which of course no one thinks to share with her. But things are happening around her and whether or not it's on purposed or by design she is caught up in more than she knows. Great action and plenty of chaos reign as the story to free Isabella continues.

It really feels like with each new book in this series, I have to say less & less since that underlying story line is coming to a head, but this is where we are. Mafia life isn't for the weak, and any small mistake could get a person tortured & killed, and yet, humans make mistakes. Once again, there a ton of twists & turns that shocked the hell out of me, to the point that even my f-bomb dropping got less & less, so yeah, you'll have to buckle up, Seriously though, it wouldn't be nearly as nerve racking if you don't read them in order, so I can only imagine what the final book will bring, but I'm here for it! Do yourselves a big solid by hitting those one click buttons, as once again, I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Another impressive standalone story withing the Escaping the Mafia series, this book was filled with surprising twists and shocking truths. I'm off to read the next one!

I can't say too much in order to not give spoilers but the plot continues in this fifth book in the series and I am utterly hooked. We have more danger here but the passion and chemistry is undeniable.
