I want my readers to escape their realities and embark on a journey of self-exploration and love when they delve into my books. I have loved reading fiction, thrillers, and romance for years. Although my original (and still) writing interest was YA and self-help books, I received a surprise text one Valentine's Day, and wrote the very first chapter of a romance novel that day. And I became forever inspired to write contemporary and new adult romance - with a twist.

A love rollercoastal 🎢of a ride! Seriously this sequel is epic! I kept turning the pages because of the emotional rollercoaster they took within the story! The shocking surprise in the middle had me wondering what other secrets were hiding! I’m rooting for Jordan and Skye!! Give me part 3 cause I want a happy ending!
Skye and Jordan need to get it together. They both know they love each. I need them to both stopped acting like fools and just be together. I like this ending. Hopefully we get a wedding in the final book.
I love the the first part of their story, I love the the second. I just love Skye and Justin. I knew their story would make a really good book. I'm anxiously waiting for the Aftermath.
It’s always a delight to read a book from this writer, I was so glad when I got an alert that a new book was out and yep she did not disappoint. I totally enjoyed this book and so will you
They did the ABSOLUTE MOST!!! I'm glad that they finally got it together .. Can't wait to read the last part.. I'm a fan I have been catching up on ALL OF YOUR BOOKS
WITAH‼️..A WHAT 😠😲⁉️This second installment of the “escape trilogy” was drama laden! “The Obsession (The Escape Trilogy - Book 2) was a good read. However, I knew my suspicions regarding Jordan Matthews were accurately. JM is a fraud! …an a predator! No legitimate successful actor doesn’t have a team of assistants ( at their disposal), image consultants, attorneys, accountants, publicist, agents and other professionals to manage both his/her business & personally affairs to include screen social media accounts etc. Why can’t he communicate or receive communications from family/girlfriend etc. Because he’s a liar among many other derogatory phrases! From the first day he meet Skye, I never trusted him. He’s a master manipulator! Arrogant! Hypocrite! This entire storyline was infuriating! …Double Philanderers. Skye attributes both Ray& Jordan experiences valuable life lessons learned the hard way and move on! Stop making excuses for him and allowing him to humiliate you! No sex, okay, good, great or phenomenal is worth your sanity‼️
I swear I was so stuck after reading book one! Like how was that a dream. Now in book too they want to have the nerve to be all over the place. Skye and Jordan were both so confused it didn’t make sense at times and the best friend needed to be there for Skye to walk her through because sis really was dense when it came to love and what she wanted. Jordan had the audacity while Skye was just a hot mess. I was glad when what pray is all out in the open. I really was happy for them and ready for them to be a couple because they truly love one another and need to be with each other and stop with the games on both sides.
I first wanna say this was so entertaining. I had a really hard morning Adulting and needed to escape reality. I just took a mind trip on The Obsession! I read the first book, and fell in love with Skye and Jordan equally. I was not on the lookout for book two. Thank you Girl Have You Read! (Site that showcases black authors) The vibe of part two was different!!!!! The same two characters I fell in love with real life happening. Sexy.....real,.....unpredictable.... a perfect escape! I am ready for part three.
Skye got on my nerves sometimes because she was more focused on the label of being in a relationship with Jordan that she was missing out on the words of love and actions of being with Jordan. They really took each other on a rollercoaster ride to end up together in the end. Skye should've listened to Sean's advice about both Jordan and Drew. I knew Drew was cheating because he was to understanding and always had something going on. I see Tyra being a problem in the future.
Wow these two love each other so much it’s wearing me out. The both need a session or two, three or four on communication skills I’ve read Book 1 and this one book 2 in twenty four hours and when I tell you that I’m not sure who infuriates me more, Jordan with his jealousy and quick reaction to walk off rather than talk or Skye not truly realizing she was worthy of love and fighting for what she wanted. Communication is the key for these two. Well I’m on to book three after I have glass of wine. It’s a good read
Skye is still on the same mess as before. After all the confessions of love on the plane Jordan and Skye still not together. Skye has some issues and the only thing she wants is the man to say we are in a relationship. Don’t get me wrong I get it especially since Jordan was just as confused, like sir if you want this girl say y’all “go together” lol. I hate that Skye let Jordan make her the same thing she hated about her ex a cheater. She should have broke up with Drew before going to see Jordan because that chemistry is hard to resist.
In book 2 my heart was so anxious just waiting on the house of card to fall so to speak. I felt as if my heart was her heart as she pondered contacting Jordan and when they finally reconnected I was just as afraid of getting hurt as she was! I love the support she had from her brother and best friend. Drew seemed good and safe but I’m sure we will learn more about him and Tyra in the aftermath! Great read!
This series was absolutely positively amazing. It was so good it had my anxiety to Pikes Peak proportions. It was sexy and nail biting and angsty and nail biting and worth ALL my time.
I recommend this trilogy y’all, if for nothing else then for the intros, I was so tickled. You’ll enjoy, I promise 😉.
I thought that I was reading about a ping pong match with all the back and forth between Jordan and Skye. However they finally get to the real and learn that they can't be without each other. Both of them have some things to clear up before they can more on as one.
This author has never been in love before and I can tell by the language. When he was pouring his heart out none of that sounded believable. When he was arguing with Drew I didn’t hear|feel the passion in his words. The sex scenes 🥴 “Your pussy is so fucking slick. Let me fuck you until you’re not pissed anymore.”
Jordan and Skye are so crazy about each other until they are making me crazy reading their love story. Book two was even more hot. Can’t wait to see where their journey ends in the last book. Kudos to Tiye Love on another great story that keeps you anticipating more to come.
Wow. The first book left me thinking he had actually got her off the plane home. It was all a dream. Skye had actually left and a year later she was still pinning over Jordan. After meeting up again, they were obsessed with each other. Looking forward to Book 3.
This is a new writer for me, and I'm loving the way she writes. I loved the story line and the characters. If you need a pick me up this the the right author, just pick up The Escape Trilogy. Books 1 and 2 have made me sad and so happy during my reading now I'm ready for the last book in the series
Sky and Jordan had an obsession with the other that bordered on scary. They met, fell in love and never let go of the other, even when they'd spent a year apart. I felt not so bad for their other people. A good story.
The second installment of the series picks right up. The relationships are so explosive, exciting, complicated, and entertaining at the same time. There is quite a bit of emotional baggage interwoven into the story. Can’t wait to for the 3rd installment.
This was a good love story. Both of the main characters were obsessed with one another. Love and relationships can be complicated. Communication and trust are key. Find out what happens when Skye and Jordan reconnect after being apart for a year.
I was blown away with this follow up of Skye and Jordan. It was shocking to read that the woman was the Cheater but the twist was they were all cheaters. That was an amazing story. Can't wait to see what happens next.
Baaaaby this roller coaster ride of love passion tears anger sadness back to joy! Had me in tears and the end… I can’t wait to read part 3. I don’t have to have Jordan Mathew but…. I can take a small version of him anytime!
Once again Tiye Love did not disappoint, we meet Skye and Jordan in The Escape and their chemistry was off the chart . I was happy when I saw she turned this into trilogy because I really enjoyed these characters and wanted to see what the future held for them, the ending of The Escape and the beginning of The obsession had my mouth wide open. I am looking forward to The Aftermath.
The book just started and I’m already annoyed with skye. She was willing to cheat on Andrew, which makes her no better than ray. I don’t care what villain Andrew turns out to be later in the book, at the time she was ready to creep, Andrew had done nothing wrong that skye was aware off.
I don’t know what skye expected she ignore him for six months and surprised and sadden he’s giving her the cold shoulder
Wow skye is trash bro. Im actually not annoyed that Jordan is treating her like the thot she’s acting like. Normally I’d be outraged on behalf of the female MC.
Toni has horrible advice
The more I read the more turned off my skye. She just wants to string drew along. Does she not remember being hurt every time ray cheated. Not only is she cheating she’s having unprotected sex. I’m seeing red
I don’t gaf if Drew is running a prostitution ring, I’m team drew
How can Jordan fully trust skye, she’s proven she’s a cheater
Jordan has a fiancée well this is delicious. I’m laughing at skye and all her antics. Serves her right. Just glad my boy drew is free
Skye sounds so dumb asking drew, can you and I really trust each other. Um same goes for you and Jordan who had a whole ass fiancée. This hoe was not hurt by Drew’s infidelity. She trying to relieve her guilt
I don’t like skye or Jordan and not real excited about reading book three
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
This installment of the Escape series was as up and down as a see-saw ride. With Skye being the one running at one point, only for her to return and send Jordan heading for the exit in the very next instance! Throw a few twists into the mix, and I have to wonder how their HEA will stand up to the next test in their relationship. And based on the title of book 3, I'm thinking that this is most likely the calm before the biggest obstacle they have yet to face. Either way, I'm here for it!
