Gage Beckett has decided to retire from the rodeo circuit and he’s long since given up on love after a disastrous marriage ended in divorce. But when he meets a new woman who has sparked his interest and learns she lives one town over, he wonders if his future might be open to wonderful new possibilities. Hailey Conway knows heartbreak all too well, so when she meets a handsome, sexy, and charming rodeo star she’s not willing to jump into the deep end with him right away. Gage Beckett has trouble written all over him and even though he calls her a heartbreaker, she knows it’s her heart that will be left broken in a million pieces if she falls in love. When their pasts come back to cause them both trouble, they have a choice to make—trust their instincts and each other or let the devious plans of others destroy their chance at a happily ever after.

Gage and Hailey have both been burned in the past by others and it has made both of them gun shy to jump into anything. In the beginning of their relationship they did make some assumptions about the other based on what happened to them with their ex's. I liked that even if they did assume or say something uncalled for, they asked for a pause and talked it out. They knew what they had was something that was amazing and they wanted to see where this went.
I loved Gage. He was a true cowboy in my mind. He was a wonderful brother and friend, kind to townspeople and just an all around great guy. He was a gentleman when the time called for it but he wasn't afraid to say what was on his mind, even if it did make Hailey blush.
I adored Hailey. I loved that she understood that Gage was going through something with his ex. I liked that even though she was a little jealous, deep down she trusted him. She supported him when he needed it and was his person to listen to.
The thing I loved most about this book was their banter. I loved that Gage was a cheeky guy and Hailey could hold her own. I loved when she would throw something back and Gage and it would catch him off guard. This author did an amazing job making you feel like you were watching this couple and not just reading about them. When Gage would laugh, you didn't just read it, you felt it.
Loved loved loved Gage and Haileys story! They both are from horrible past romances yet find themselves drawn together... Gage is of course one of Susan's sexy and swoon worthy cowboys- one is the Beckett's .... Terrific read ! She's done it again !

Gage and Hailey met in Butte. They find out they lived close to each other plus had some of the same friends. Gage and Hailey both have ex's that are making their lives hell. They both have to trust each other to get through it.
Gage and Hailey!! Two people who have been burned by supposed love in the past and who are scared to try again. I loved the way this was a slow burn giving that both of them have been hurt but once they crossed that line, wow!! Fireworks. The way the author writes her stories makes you feel like you are out riding the pastures with Gage while he checks the fenceline or you feel Hailey's confusion and nervousness in wanting to admit to her feelings about Gage. It was awesome to see old characters that I love from previous books and get a look at characters I know are getting their stories in the future. This was just a feel good story, one that I have no doubts I will read over several times.
Gage a man burned byt yet he hoped to.love again. Hailey the hurt she felt from the betrayal was so deep but she wanted what her friends was finding. Journeys of live can be very difficult. Trust is hard. But it so awesome to find amazing books that are so well written and Author who right books in a series who bring you spectacular characters. Book that have you wanting more and stories that has every emoton rolling

Gage: I loved Gage and Hailey! They connected so well and they had so much in common compared to their previous relationships. I loved they both had second just at real love. I liked there were challenges throughout the story because that is what a relationship stronger. Great writing.
I liked that the trust and believed in each other. From being to end nothing and no one came between the. The was well written. The climax is always the same but that's the beauty of your stories. I enjoy how you let each story relate to the first 51 books. Great work.
Loved that Gage finally got his forever after with Hailey. They are definitely made for each other. After what his ex-wife put him through he was lucky to have a close family to back him up. Love reading about the Beckett family.
