If You Love Something Let It Go

Hook, line, and sinker. Great story of redemption and forgiveness. The storyline flowed and you got good background information on the characters. Definitely a great read.

Julian & Brielle

Omg I love their story they showed that love conquers all and that if your willing to forgive and let go you can work through anything. Nadia is my favorite though and I'm glad that all the friends came together to help them.

JULIAN IS STILL TRASH lol most of the book anyway
I commend him for getting help and acknowledging his mistakes FINALLY!

Brielle: Boo I didn't expect you to stoop to his level. I want to DRAGGGGG KYLE FOR FILTH! HEA ME ?! Chile my pressure was UP!, but baby he showed you his colors and I'm glad she believed him.

Wren: Chile IDK wth to say. It's like she keeps ending up with the same outcome. Like she can't catch a break.

Nadia: although she appears to be the most put together/together she still needs to unpack that baggage she carries with her. I wanted to hug her and tell her boo it's okay to let people figure out their on mess.

Roman: POOH YOU GONNA EITHER GROW TF UP OR STEP OFF FRFR! Like you can't keep playing and going in between playing with my lil baby Wren.

KWAME: You gon have to tell my boo how you really feel and stop giving her hell when you see her cause you can catch these hands too.

Onto book 2

Difficulty

Love has difficulties. How we handle those difficulties proves if we win at love. Brielle and Julian won in the end, but all the added obstacles could have been avoided if they would have only remembered for better or for worst. Great read with just enough drama to keep it interesting.

Everything went up in flames!

Now I had a feeling my girl Bri was gonna phuck shit up. Whew. Sis was not playing. I was pulled in so many directions between Bri and Jullian. I’m SO happy Jullian went to see a damn therapist! Black men and their idea of not needing help does nothing but make them toxic towards others. Sis, you did the damn thing! I’m so excited for book 2! I know it’s gonna drop in like 2-3 weeks. I’ll be ready. Cause I know Wren is sick of Roman’s shit. I sure am.

repercussions

Communication is key in a relationship. A lot could’ve been avoided if he communicated with her about his feelings of neglect.
You can’t step out on your marriage and expect for the person to just take it and wait around for you to get it together.
Tit for tat doesn’t solve the problems in a relationship and this story showed that.
If you can’t forgive and make efforts to heal, let the marriage go because you will be in bondage to the hurt and pain if you don’t.
This was a tough story to read but very real.

Second chances

First let me just say that Julian is a weak punk. His justification for cheating is flimsy and he clearly did need to be married or deserve the love and loyalty that Brielle gave to him. I'm high fiving Brielle in my head for getting his ass back. Two can definitely play the game. After their tumultuous breakup, they(Julian) realizes what they had and had to make some decisions on if and how to move forward.

This book was was a strong lesson of forgiveness. This was a Entanglement at its finest, Brielle was has strength that I couldn't imagine having. After it was said in done both parties were wrong and It took hitting rock bottom for them to realize what's important. I was happy that love prevailed at the end.

Brielle and Julian

This book was so good that I couldn’t put it down. For a minute there I was worried that Kyle was going to completely get Brielle but he turned out to be a f boy. I’m glad things worked out for them.

Book 2 can’t come fast enough 😩

This series just continues to get better. I can’t believe I read the prelude and Part 1 in the same day 😩😂 I love the character development and how none of the plots are being rushed. Everyone’s storyline is carefully laid out. I’m still waiting for Kwame and Nadia to finally happen 😩 They’re honestly my favorite at this point because they’re both so in denial about how they feel for one another. I’m glad Roman is finally speaking up even though it’s a little too late 😪 Brielle and Julian’s story really surprised the hell out of me because I definitely didn’t expect all those twist and turns but love always conquers all❤️

Excellent read, I loved the storyline and characters. Julian and Brielle had a rough road ahead of them. They overcame infidelity, hurt and mistrust to rekindle their love. I recommend this book.

Brielle and Julian's story is 🔥

From the beginning to the end I enjoyed the main characters love ride. The sweet beginning to the lowest of lows. My only complaint would be some editing errors that confused me in the story. Other than that I can't wait for books 2 & 3.

WTC???

What. The. Carp?! I usually listen to my book through the text to speech option on my kindle. Typos keep you from really enjoying the book. Brielle and Julian have great story. I could see their story in real life situations. Please contact a proofreader.

Good story

The story was good and all, it just did not call me like I wanted it to move me. The couple just did not connect in any way.

The Marathon Continues 💙🏁

After reading the preface I searched for book 1 everyday to see when it would drop. I was already engaged in all of the stories. I was for sure that Brielle would accept Julian’s apology and find some blame in herself. I was prepared to be upset with her for giving in so easily but then the apology never came. Julian lost his mind and Brielle matched his petty. It was awesome and totally unpredictable! Now that they were both hurt and seemingly moved on I never expected them to realistically get back together but then again I was pleasantly surprised at the turn of events. Can’t wait to see what’s up with Wren and Ro!

Yes, I'm glad that Julian lit the fire under his butt and went after his woman. I love that Julian was persistent when it came to Brielle, thanks to therapy, which was the best thing that Julian could've done. The two, Brielle and Julian didn't get it right the first time, but I'm glad that they got it right the second time around.

Poor Wren just couldn't get it right when it came to love. It seemed that the men that she sought out, didn't know what they wanted. I liked what Roman said to her, and I hope that he stand by his words. Roman didn't seem like a bad man, just a man that didn't know what he wanted. Hopefully, he sees that Wren is it him, and he learns to appreciate her.

All games, no love

Brielle and Julian are that couple that should not have dated beyond college, IMO. There seemed to be familiarity, not love, between them and I found myself rooting against reconciliation.

The ending felt rushed: a few months of therapy, dinner with the therapist, side chick suddenly abandoning her baby, and remarriage all within the last few chapters.

Also, major editing is needed. The typos, misused words, character name changes, etc. are distracting.

Whew!

Wow AP gave us one helluva ride from broken vows to redemption to HEA the older wiser version. Going into this I didn’t want Brielle to take Julian back I was so mad LOL but AP wove a great tale of these two lovers figuring their ish out individually and as a couple. Would’ve liked to see more discussion about the miscarriage that — at least in Julian’s mind — sent them down the wrong path. Great story of finding your way back.

Ms Pynn, Ms Pynn, Ms Pynn

I almost stopped reading this book after the first two pages! Then I wanted to kick Julian’s behind before the end of the first chapter. I am so glad I kept reading!

Ms Pynn, you did the doggone thang. Talk about being in your feelings. This books makes you feel anger, sadness, pain, and lack of patience but most of all, you feel the love.

Great job!

Tangled webs

Wow. I wanted more and you delivered. I'm still trying to catch my breath from all of that! That web was a tangled catastrophe but I'm glad to see the growth from it. Can't wait to see what's next for Wren and Roman and of course I'm wondering if Kwame and Nadia will be the cure for what ails them both.

Julian and Brielle

I guess it was only fitting that babies were made, but it’s time to get your grown man and woman on when you truly have to lie in the beds you made. The petty in us will have you out here with regrets...everyone isn’t about that life. Oh and mistresses never win!! Karma is real!!!

Winner

OMG! This story is a winner. My emotions were on high throughout my reading. The author did a great job of penning the ins and outs of a marital relationship and the consequences of infidelity. I can’t wait to read the outcome of Roman and Wrenn. I am definitely an avid reader and will keep this author on my favorite lists. Keep up the great writing.

#TheGameOfLove is a get a few glasses of 🍷, maybe a couple of 🍻 a gang of snacks 🥨🍿🍇 and some to pick your jaw up off the floor 😮🤭😁.

Call up the gang and tell them you’ve got you alls next 📖 club selection and be prepared to be the Boss of the ball 😉.

There were some errors in the book but for me that didn’t take away from the story.

Very Good And Emotional

This book was so good. It shows you what happens when married couples cheat on each other. I really hated Julian in the beginning. I was mad at him for cheating on Brielle. They both had problems they should have talked to each other about. I like the ending.
