A lovely story. All Viola wants is a romantic getaway, unfortunately there are ghosts who don’t approve. Delightful.

This latest in the Viola Valentine Mystery series is only a novella, but I really didn't feel as though it was hastily done (as I do with most novellas). It did make me long for a book-length tome, though.

Although a quick read, this story is loaded with action, intrigue and interesting developments for the characters. The MC deepens connections within her immediate circle while also involving new acquaintances in the adventure.

Unbelievably good

The kids have grown and are special too. But I missed Stinky. Great characters and 2 mysteries in 1. On to the next 😁
