This latest in the Viola Valentine Mystery series is only a novella, but I really didn't feel as though it was hastily done (as I do with most novellas). It did make me long for a book-length tome, though.
Although a quick read, this story is loaded with action, intrigue and interesting developments for the characters. The MC deepens connections within her immediate circle while also involving new acquaintances in the adventure.
