I read this for Uni and as a scientific text, this is very enjoyable. Easy to read and the theories are excellently explained (other than Freud's for example).

Although it is evidently a rather old text, big parts of it are still relevant and important to discuss.

Very readable text, which points to this being an excellent translation. As for Hirschfeld’s part in this, it’s interesting to see how he was essentially 100 years ahead of his time here. The book is very short – readable in one sitting – so you’ve not got much to lose.
