A satisfying conclusion to the story begun in Path of Darkness. This installment manages to up the stakes while leaving the reader guessing about where we'll end up. I enjoyed the character development, especially in terms of the relationships between the humans and angels (there's a sentence I never pictured myself writing). If you enjoy the supernatural and/or action-packed fantasy, I think you'll like this book.

He never disappoints. His characters and story are rich with depth, thought, and excitement. Never a dull moment and definitely inspires personal reflection although the story is fiction. Intelligent, well crafted, and overall quite thrilling.

Read St Peter's Gate - Path of Darkness again prior to starting Wave of Darkness. This second book, as in the first, is an excellent and well written story. Kept me turning the pages. Thank you and can't wait to read your next one Fran.

This book will grab you from the the prologue and keep you hungering until you reach the epilogue. The prologue acutally made me tingle, and the whole story was so action packed that I stayed up way past my bedtime to keep reading. I've read book one (I'm guilty for not leaving a review, though I will now) and I highly recommend that you do because you will find yourself grow attached to the characters and it may tear at your heartstrings a bit...it did at mine. Amazing job! So unique! This needs to be made into a movie!
