Would you risk going insane to save those you love? If you failed, you would enter a state of Limbo, possibly forever.
The cambion and shifter daughters must face that very dilemma in order to free their loved ones who have been trapped in Limbo by the demon, Abraxas.
Abraxas, the demon they call the "reaper of minds," sews doubts and fears in his victims until they’re completely overwhelmed. He then traps them in Limbo.
But Limbo is not just a state of mind. Limbo is also the place where Abraxas performs macabre experiments on hybrids. There, he enhances their dark powers and unleashes them to create chaos upon the Earth.
To free their loved ones, the Warriors of Tweldor must convince two dragon daughters to embrace their beasts and help Theodora to expel creatures from her mind, that should never have found a home there.
For the daughters to return, this will be a fight where the stakes could hardly be higher….
L.E. Glazebrook is described as a curious human, who asks far too many questions. The world of Tweldor evolved when she continued to query why bad things happen to good people... (It isn't always due to the fae folk meddling you know).
In her novels, characters quickly learn that bad choices carry consequences. Evil is held accountable and love, friendship and family are honoured above all else.
She hopes that you enjoys her stories and looks forward to your kind reviews on Amazon.
This urban fantasy series is definitely one of my favourites. All sorts of races--elves, fae, humans, gnomes, hybrids (such as half-demons and shapeshifters that can take dragon, phoenix, and gryphon forms)--join forces to fight for Tweldor. A team of Luminous Warriors makes the journey into Limbo (a scary place where souls can redeem themselves or be lost to the darkness) to rescue their friends. Favourite characters: Boobie Von Trapp the succubus (she is awesome) and Renweard the gargoyle.
The Daughters Return is the second book in the The Chronicles of Tweldor Urban Fantasy Series. Another wonderful mix of Good against Evil. Myrddin is stuck in Limbo. A place no person wants to be, because in this book Limbo is a place not just a state of mind. It’s up to the Light Warriors, and those on the side of good, to find a way to save Myrddin and his twin brother Owen. I love the way L. E. Glazebrook takes us to Limbo. As you read you are there. The atmosphere had me feeling like I was floating or moving very slowly beside the characters in the old inn aptly named ‘Indecision’. As the saviours risk their sanity to save those they love from Limbo, Abraxas plays his deadly mind games, working one against the other and experimenting on any who fall into his trap so he can turn them into weapons against humanity and cast evil on the world. Interlaced within the story are some wonderful moments of humour. L. E. Glazebrook doesn’t mind giving her characters a bit of a ribbing every now and then. Take a read you won’t regret it.
This author's writing style is simply amazing. The description are so beautifully written and easy to imagine that I am often in awe of them. When it comes to her characters it feels like they could jump off the pages of the book at any moment and join us in the real world. Her books are intriguing and fun to read which is exactly what I am looking for in a book. All in all, I wish there were more books like these.
I find it very hard to enjoy this book. It’s very confusing to say to least. It doesn’t flow well. Just a bit boring. And when there is some excitement it goes flat in no time. Read the 1st book tried 2nd book and couldn’t finish it. Not for me.
