We've met Nova and breifly met Elijah (or knew about him). He's been mentioned in BFH series too.
Nova and Elijah have had an understanding, over the last few summers they've met, she's "Surfer Girl" and he's "Summer Boy". When he leaves, it's like he never existed, until he comes back unexpectedly and it's not summer. Which Nova trys to ignore him. Unsuccessfully.
Elijah is Ryland's half brother. The dirty secret of their Father's cheating. The cover story's that Elijah's a Nephew of Alexander's (their father), for him to keep his status and appearances sake. There are people who are aware of who Elijah really is. He's never gotten along with his father, he's just a cheque, and wasn't really that close to Ryland. He wants to get to the bottom of his brothers death.
But is there something else keeping him in Hidden?
Tensions are rising with Elijah's presence.
He's attending Tech, where Wes' cousins, Ryker and Walker, also Noelle attend, the other school in town.
He befriends Nero and his crew there, who have history with Weslee and his crew.
They have their comedic/banter moments.
The HCH crew guys and girls still have their comedic moments, even with the ever rising tensions. With Elijah and Nova having history and unresolved feelings for each other.

As I was reading this series, I wondered if Nova would get a book. Who was this "summer boy" and was she as hung up on him as she seemed to be, and why. Well this book answered all those questions but left me asking more...and wanting more

HIDDEN CREEK AGAIN (Hidden Creek High Book 5) By Jaxson Kidman
What a ride this book is! Jaxson Kidman is at the top of his game with the stories of Hidden Creek! This 5th book is just as compelling and relevant as the 1st one. This is part of a series so you have to have read the first books to know what is going on. Once I started this I could not put it down until I was finished with it.
This is the story of Elijah who is her Summer Boy and Nova who is his Surfer Girl. They have had a relationship each summer when he comes to Hidden. In spite of being in love with her, after the last time he broke up with her. He is back to try to find out who killed his half brother Ryland. They are both trying to move on after the breakup, but not succeeding well other than hurting each other. Each has heavy secrets they are keeping from the other and everyone else. I don’t want to give anything away, so I am stopping with the story description here.
This brings us secrets, drama, angst, passion, and lots of chemistry. The secondary characters are also very fleshed out in a way that makes me hopeful several more books could follow.
Jaxson has a way of making you feel what his characters are going through, for example you can almost feel the heat from the bonfires. His writing is excellent, gritty, intense, very descriptive, (down to earth so to speak) with a real feel to it almost like you are there with them. There is a cliffhanger which gives me hope for another book sometime soon! Congratulations Jaxson, for a great job once again! Definitely 5 stars!

It’s been a while since I jumped on Mr Wonka’s chocolate ride, but you know global pandemic and all that.
So, imagine my surprise when the only indication you get is Summer Boy, Surfer Girl. I mean seems like the makings of a good book of course it does, but summer and surf clearly indicate perhaps water or a flow of something, perhaps like a chocolate river, but you know this and you want to get on the boat and go down that river that Mr Kidman (who we really know is Willy Wonka) weaves and you’re not disappointed because one thing is for sure Mr Wonka makes sure -
There's no earthly way of knowing
Which direction we are going
There's no knowing where we're rowing
Or which way the river's flowing,
Never a disappointment with his books, well I mean he could at least offer us some chocolates he does own a chocolate factory.

Elijah & Novalee
As we’ve come to expect from Jaxson Kidman, nothing runs smoothly in any of his books and especially in Hidden Creek Again, and book 5 involving Elijah and Nova is no exception. I absolutely loved this book from the first to the last word, and can’t wait to continue onto the next one. Loved Nova and Elijah, two broken souls, and her family life was heartbreaking. Will they overcome all the secrets and have their HEA, I sure hope so. Another 5 star read which I enjoyed immensely

Good
But so much fighting and some makes no sense. This is the weirdest school ever. It sounds more like adults then kids. I have no idea what grade they are in. Elijah has real problems sex is not without consequences and there is no such thing as fool proof birth control. I really have a hard time with Elijah's mind set. Especially on females even when he claims only one. Hope this next one explains more.

Great!
I'm thrilled that I get to finally read the rest Of the HCH. However, I'm intrigued by the suspense. I'm seriously going crazy, (lol) to discover the mystery of who is after Elijah. On to the next book I go.

Nova met her Summer Boy, Elijah, when he was visiting family in Hidden. Summer Boy? Because that's what he was, and that's when their fling would eventually end. Their time would be up and life would move on, until the next summer. In the past, that was the plan. But last summer, it was officially over and they were supposed to move on with their lives. Elijah unexpectedly returns to Hidden to handle some unfinished family business. His half brother Ryland was murdered and, although they weren't close, he wants answers. Before summer would end, everyone would learn the real reason for Elijah's return, who he really is and how he really feels about Nova. But to some, none of that would matter. Nova isn't ready to deal with her feelings toward Elijah. She's gone from casual to falling for him, to her heart being shattered by him.
Is Elijah here to avenge Ryland's death? Reconnect with Nova? Or is there another reason for his return to Hidden? Elijah is back in Hidden for answers and some of those answers, he's not going to like.
Just when things seem to be settling down for HCH, Elijah's unexpected return brings more questions than answers and more secrets. Opening wounds that never quite healed and emotions that never went away and causing problems between the close-knit friendships that have formed in Hidden. Hidden Creek Again is the 5th book in the Hidden Creek High series. You must read the first 4 books in this series to fully appreciate this story. Elijah and Nova meet up every summer until he decides to break her heart and end it all in a letter. He was her summer boy and she was his surfer girl. Now he's back to find out who killed his half brother, Ryland. This causes tension between all those involved in HCH, Especially Wes, Aira and gang and Nova and Elijah. There are still secrets and hidden agendas between them all. You can feel the love/hate that Nova has for Elijah, even tho she keeps pushing him away. Finding Connor to help her ease her heart and forget Elijah. But does this work? Elijah finally admits he loves Nova, but is happy to play her games, so he finds a new distraction with Noelle. The love, hate and anger that Elijah feels over the death of Ryland, but is it really just Ryland's death? So many more secrets are revealed in this story. What does the letter say? You will feel all the emotions the characters go through. Another great cliff hanger that will make you want book 2 to be ready to read. Just another 5 star, amazing read by Jaxson Kidman.

This is the return of Hidden Creek High this is the #5 book in this series and Jaxson Kidman has done it again, he has excelled himself writing Nova and Elijah story. Surfer girl & Summer boy who met up every summer for a few years, until last summer when Elijah broke Novas heart. She thought he would never return to Hidden Creek, until his half brother Ryland dies and he comes back to revenge his death. The attraction between these two is still there but both fight it and hurt the other along the way. Both have secrets no one knows about including each other. This is an angsty intriguing, romantic filled read that has you guessing throughout the pages what will happen next. At the end of the book there is a cliffhanger where you think WTH Jaxson and you want to curse him in a good way of course because i can’t wait for HCK to come out. I highly recommend this book to be read and give it 5***** Another Epic read

HCA... Once again.. Awesome!!
This story has so much, Elijah and Nova, might be my favorite new book couple right now. Surfer Girl and Summer Boy.. Jaxson does not disappoint once again and he weaves the story that sucks you right in from the first page. I won't give away the plot points but it's well worth the read and I think I need to pick up a thesaurus to find more words to describe have awesome Jaxson's books are, the next one better than the last, like how's that possible. This man has a mega talent and of course ends on a cliffhanger... I knew it was coming but it didn't stop me from cursing him out but it's got me wishing the next 2 weeks would literally fly by.

Awesome start to the next part of the Hidden Creek High series!!
Jaxson Kidman takes us back to Hidden Creek High as we go on an angsty, intrigue-filled, yet romantic laced journey, as we follow the story of Summer Boy, (Elijah), and Surfer Girl, (Nova). This is a well written story that leaves you guessing at every turn of the page, as it leads you up to the cliffhanger, which not only leaves you begging for the next book in the series, but also has you cursing Jaxson. Once again, in true Kidman style, we are left hanging by our fingernails at the end of the book! Well played Mr. Kidman!!

In this book #5 from the Hidden Creek High series we get to know more on the story of Nova and Elijah. The couple who had that summer romance until one day it just ends. So many unanswered questions and feelings left out in the open until Elijah returns and the reconnect. Will they rekindle their romance or will it just leave more questions and further heartbreak. Jaxson Kidman will draw you right into their love story and leave you unable to put it down until you know. Great book and series!

Yes you have to read it amazing
Omg.. I don’t think I was ready for Elijah and Nova she always seemed quiet and and in hcha I saw a whole other side of Novalee she is a bad ass.. and Elijah a secret brought him back i don’t think he was expecting nova to find out the way she did. Those two man I like them together I loved this book I have read it twice already and the little extra sneak peek of the next HCH omg Jaxson you truly never fail us thank you for giving us another amazing read

Hidden Creek Again is the story of Nova and Elijah. So glad the Hidden Creek stories continue. Another tale of love, heartbreak and secrets. She thought it was real. A forever kind of love but he didn't want it to be. He just wanted a summer thing. Give this series a try. You will not be dissappointed. Jaxson Kidman is a terrific author. Real life situations draw you in, make you relate. The cliffhangers keep you coming back for more. It's waiting for the next book that drives you crazy..

INCREDIBLE
I did not expect the story to go at all like this.
Which I should be use to by now, that Jaxson Kidman will always blow my mind when it comes to his stories.
Elijah is hiding something but so its Nova. Both of them have secrets. But its not a secret that Elijah and Nova are in love, only that things with Elijah and Wes .... and Aira... things are complicate it.
Elijah is looking for answers and he’s not going away until he gets them.
Nova needs and wants Elijah’s help and he will do anything to keep her safe.
I did not expect the story to go at all like this.

Outstanding! This series just keeps getting better with every book. Elijah and Nova are so real and so full of everything that will have you wanting more. Jaxson Kidman has excelled himself again! I laughed, cried, yelled and wanted to throw things as I read. I am desperate to read the next in the series. I absolutely recommend that you read this book and if you haven’t yet, read the series.

Loved this instalment in this series for the beginning of Nova and Elijah"s story bringing with it more Secrets, Lies, Drama, Revenge, and possessive love. Jaxson Kidman never fails to deliver all of the above and this release has it in spades! Congratulations on another fantastic release Jaxson. Everyone needs this series in their book collection. We have a continuation story of Nova and her surfer boy, Elijah. Their relationship was always timed and filled with heartbreak. Each filling a void with the other. But Elijah is back. He's seeking answers and revenge. Nova is seeking answers and safety.
HCH drama still flows freely. We're getting closer to our still unanswered questions of how everyone is connected...in due time.

Just.......Wow! I love the #hch series, and could not wait to revisit, and Jaxson has certainly not let us down. Elijah may come across as a tough guy, but not where Nova is concerned. There are still more secrets to be revealed from the town of Hidden, and I am so excited for the rest of this amazing series. x

Hidden creek again (book 5) is back with Nova Elijah. And as always was amazing but nail biting throughout. My heart felt for nova of her how her home life is which I can relate to in some ways. It really did hit home for me...
A must read and worth the break between hch and BFH series.

Back to HCH
Every time I think Jaxson can’t top his last book, he drags us screaming and crying back into his worlds! Hidden Creek Again gives us the same characters we love to hate to love with some new wild rides and a new love story to get entrapped in. The ending was unexpected and now I’m waiting on the edge of my seat for the next one! Another fantastic story!

Jaxson did it again!!! He makes you feel all the feels from the first page to the last!!! Nova and Elijah's story brings you back to Hidden Creek High in a big way. All the secrets and heartache that is Hidden Creek High. If you haven't read the first 4 books I suggest you do so so you can jump into this one!!!

Elijah oh my gosh.
Elijah and Nova's story had me laughing and crying. Elijah the unwanted child in love with a surfer girl with a dark secret. He is back for revenge but ends up helping his old flame. It is a must read along with the other #hch and #bfh books. I am ready to see where the next book goes.
