Nobody said finding your fated mates meant an instant happily ever after. But for Aurum, an immortal gold dragon gifted with the power of psychic empathy, love has never been simple.
Night after night, she has endured prophetic dreams about her pair of lovers, but finding them brings her no respite—the beautiful satyr, Calder, abandons her upon their first meeting, forsaking love for revenge, while royal ursa Nicholas…
Well, he looks nothing like the dark-haired man Fate promised her. So why does she find him so irresistible?
As war between ancient allies darkens the horizon, Aurum realizes the long-lost prince may hold the key to solving both her and Calder’s problems, bringing together the fated mates for good—as long as he doesn’t get them all killed first.
Their Fated connection doesn’t make things easy. But for Aurum, Calder, and Nicholas, victory might just go hand in hand with surrender where matters of the heart are concerned.
Ophelia Bell is the author of the super steamy Sleeping Dragons series. Ophelia loves hot alpha heroes, especially if they’re dragons, but believes the world needs more alpha heroines, so has made it her mission to make that happen. Ophelia grew up on a rural farm in North Carolina and now lives in Los Angeles with her sexy tattooed alpha husband and five-and-a-half attention-whoring cats (one of them is exceptionally large and might actually be a dragon in disguise).
CAPTIVATING, COMPELLING, & OH SO SEXY !!! Title: Dragon Splendor Series: Immortal Dragons Designation: Book Four of Series, Full-Length(430 pages), Can Be Read As Standalone, No Cliffhanger Author: Ophelia Bell Reading Platform: Kindle Edition My Rating: Five Sinfully Sexy Stars***** ***Although this book can be read as a standalone, I highly recommend reading the previously published books of the series first. There are currently four books in the Immortal Dragon series. The prequel is entitled Dragon Betrayed, the next is Dragon Blues, followed by Dragon Void and the most recent is Dragon Splendor. I believe it's one decision you'll never regret, especially if you enjoy dark, intense, and emotionally gripping dragon shifter paranormal romance that is so much more... more fantasy, more supernatural beings, more action, more suspense, more angst, more romance and more steamy dreamy sex.
Dragon Splendor is the highly anticipated fourth release in Bell's seductive Immortal Dragon Series and WOW, it was definitely worth the wait! I love it! After reading every single book in both of Bell's Sleeping Dragons and Rising Dragons Series, I was literally chomping at the bit for the release of her newest series, Immortal Dragons, and Bell did not disappoint! I was completely infatuated with both of Bell's previous dragon series but I love, love, love Immortal Dragons! What can I say? It's just so much more! Dragon Splendor is a riveting, sexy, well-crafted and edited full-length standalone paranormal tale filled to the brim with heart-pounding action, spine-chilling suspense, unbridled emotion, agonizing angst, steamy passion, and dreamy romance. The story is imaginative, exciting, compelling, raw, intense, romantic, sensual and seductive. The narrative is beautifully written with a first person prologue from Aurum, the female protagonist and then reverts to multiple third person perspectives primarily from each of the three protagonists. The dialogue is smart, well executed, and flows beautifully. The characters are captivating, fascinating, intriguing, engaging and sexy as sin. They literally explode from the pages, imprison your imagination and completely capture your heart. These are only a few of the thoughts that come to mind after reading this book. Bell is an extremely talented author who excels at creating detailed and vividly depicted worlds, then populating them with strong, memorable characters who not only engage your imagination but also capture your heart. Bell skillfully combines every single one of these elements to craft an exquisite paranormal romance filled with fantasy, adventure, suspense, drama and sweet romance. Although each of the books in the series features a different couple finding love and can be read as a standalone, there is an underlying interconnected storyline that runs throughout the series and for that reason, I highly recommend at least reading the prequel to the series, Dragon Betrayed, in which Bell expertly sets the stage for the entire premise of Immortal Dragons. As I stated earlier, each release can be read as a standalone story and will feature one of the six Dragon Council siblings as they find their mate... or mates. Oh my! Did I like this book? No, I LOVED it! Would I recommend it? You bet and I am but only for adults since it does contain explicit language, steamy sexy and dreamy romance. After all, this is an Ophelia Bell book and we all know that Bell writes some of the sexiest dragon erotica EVER! Will I read this author again? Absolutely! Just as soon as she releases her next book! Was I entertained? Oh my yes, I was completely and totally entertained! I was glued to my seat, white-knuckling my ereader with my heart fluttering wildly in my chest while the pages flew as quickly as the time! It was divine! Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read! I loved it!
No spoilers from me but I will say this... Beautiful golden immortal dragon in need of her mates but confused by a prophetic dream-check! A stubborn satyr intent on revenge and willing to sacrifice happiness in order to achieve it-check! A royal ursa prince whose destiny may be the key to the fate of all their survival-check! Danger, drama, secrets, lies, deceit, manipulations, evil machinations, and an enemy who refuses to accept defeat-check! Indisputable attraction, fiery passion, unquestionable love, dreamy romance, steamy sex and a fate that won't be denied-you bet! And did I mention a ménage à trois? No? Well, it's in there! That and a whole lot more! After all, this is an Ophelia Bell book we're talking about and if you've ever read any of her books, you know she writes the hottest dragon erotica EVER! Buckle up, my lovelies! It's a wild but achingly beautiful ride!
Book three in the immortal dragons series by Ophelia Bell. This book start just after last which I was really happy with, no messing around straight into it. Calder (satyr) and Nicholas (bear) are released from their prison but they don't successfully capture the bad guy that turns out to be Meri a nymph that took over Nikhil and made him into a monster. Aurum is a golden dragon and has had dreams about Calder for years until when him and Nicholas are rescued they finally meet but instead of staying and meeting her he leaves Nicholas to pursue his promise to capture Meri. This leave Nicholas with the dragon and even though Aurum feels things for Nicholas he isn't the bear in her dreams. I absolutely love how this book is all about the relationships between fated mates and the higher beings. You get to see the promise of future relationship with Aurum brothers and sisters with other races they meet like the urus and nymphaea. This book is very active and busy you follow Aurum and Nicholas trying to get Nicholas home and find Calder. Absolutely love this series, some writers struggle to carry on the massive success of previous books but OB pulls it off easily again. Enjoyed the epilogue and Nikhil getting a little bit of HEA.
Oh yes! Please give me more! I cannot even put in to words how badly you need to read this book. If you like dragons and sex, well this is the book for you. It's not just about sex though, there are some serious issues going on. You will be captivated, snuggle up with your favorite snacks and pillow and get ready for a ride!
Nothing worth having is ever easy Never a dull moment with the Lusty Dragons, A Satyr, Ursa and several others. But this story is about the Dragon Aurum and her two destined mates. One who is a Satyr name Calder who she only met for a few moments before he left to keep a vow. The other is a Ursa male who has dark hair in her dreams of him. But the Ursa Nicholas, who was also in prison with Calder, is a man she finds irresistible. But she’s trying to keep him at a distant to protect her and his heart. Lots of action and adventure throughout this well written self-contained story that’s also part of a series. Highly recommend this very entertaining story.
I loved every one of the books in this series. Dragon Betrayed (Immortal Dragons 0) Dragon Blues (Immortal Dragons #1) Dragon Void (Immortal Dragons #2) Dragon Splendor (Immortal Dragons #3) Dragon Rebel (Immortal Dragons #4) Dragon Guardian (Immortal Dragons #5) Dragon Blessed (Immortal Dragons #5.5) Dragon Equinox (Immortal Dragons #6) Dragon Avenged (Immortal Dragons #7)
From the start of the series to the end of the last book they kept me wanting more. I did not want it to end and i am sure i will reread them again at some point.
**This book is adults only. There are some very graphic sex scenes of all kinds and adult language. I enjoyed this book. It has a great combination of fantasy/sex/story/characters. I did find Aurum a bit annoying at times due to her stubbornness. But, it was so much fun to read about all of the different mythical characters that I can forgive her being a little annoying. I'm looking forward to reading the next in the series.
I enjoyed this entry! Nicholas served as a great emotional core for the narrative. I did find it a little silly that all it took was for Aurum to recognize the obvious, but that was my only major complaint. I was happy to learn more about the nymphaea and the ursa finally. I'm looking forward to the next entry!
You definitely need to read Solstice after this book!
Finally, the Dragons know it wasn't their fault and Nikill isn't evil he was being controlled!
For 3000 years the Dragon Council have been locked away and making the young dragons hibernate for 500 years to protect them from evil. Now the Mother has seen fit to gift them mates to help fight and join the different races

The more I read these dragons books the better they becoming. This gold dragon really captivates all the attention and all the new subjects coming into action. I was a little side track with first books but now they are entralling.... Very interesting read, loved it and awaiting for more...
When Nicholas and Calder are rescued they meet their mate, Aurum a gold dragon. But things are not as they seem. Calder leaves right away and this makes Nicholas and Aurum reach out. A lot of story to get these three together ❤ Great read.
Wow, so good! Love how the characters and story are developing. Nicholas and Calder, so hot! Then add in their golden dragon, and all the trials to get together.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Dragon Splendor impresses with its rich character dynamics and the tension of forbidden love. Aurum, Calder, and Nicholas form a complicated trio whose bonds are tested by external threats and internal desires. The narrative weaves together loyalty, sacrifice, and passion in a way that feels heartfelt and raw. The impending war backdrop adds urgency to their personal struggles, making this book one of the series’ most emotionally resonant.
I totally love Aurum, Nicholas and Calder's story. I love how/when Nicholas appearance transformed. This is a very intriguing series and I can't wait for the rest of the Immortal Dragon's stories. Some twists and turns are adding to the complexity of the series.
Erotic doesn't even begin to describe this book. The book goes beyond that and more. Dragons, satrys, nymphs, ursas and even more paranormal beings. The dragons are trying to find their mates. They've been given a vision of who they are but nothing else. And just because you find them doesn't mean you can have them. Aurum know she has two mates. And the moment she meets one he runs away. She must find him and at the same time hold back the feelings she has for another male that she knows is not her mate. Well expect anything with this book and the series.
The series and this story contains some very extreme sex scenes including m/m, m/m/f and m/f/m. Meant for mature readers only.
I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of the book.
Third book in this amazing series and its by far my favorite, which is saying something as I love the two books that came before!
Its frustrating knowing that Meri is still out there, probably creating havoc with whoever's body she is currently residing in. Seems like so many people are putting their lives and loves on hold just to continue with their quests to get rid of this woman and quite frankly that's just stupid. Being with your mates makes you stronger not weaker so I'm glad that both Calder and Nikhil came to their senses.
I fell so in love with Nicholas! He was so sweet, so alpha and so very vulnerable all mixed in one. He sure did know what he wanted and was not afraid to go after it, didn't matter to him what the outcome would be, unlike Aurum who just frustrated me to no end with her love for him while simultaneously denying him as well. That dragon needed a reality check..badly!
Overall it was an extremely engaging read, again with so many new faces and names. I cannot wait to read Aodh's and Gavra's books..those two dragons are just a little to damn sexy! I would also have loved to learn what Calder's momma was thinking and how his uncle is going to stop what she started..damn that woman is selfish and crazy....
This episode of the Immortal Dragons left me feeling like I need a cheat sheet to keep track of everyone! I can't tell you how much I'm loving this series.
We've crossed over now into the other worlds and all the races know there is a common enemy that they must protect themselves from...can they come together and fight for the salvation of all, or will old beliefs stand in the way of unity?
Aurum, Nicholas and Calder are the focus of this story, and they burn up the pages...good heavens, I love these dragons and their mates!
Additional plot lines have been introduced, new characters have come to join our old favorites and new struggles threaten the success of finding and destroying their enemy...things are about to get interesting. You can feel the vibration like a coming earthquake!
Reading this series by Ophelia Bell are some of the best hours I've spent with a book in my hand. Pure entertainment.
As part of the ARC team, I voluntarily read and reviewed this book.
I don't know what it is about Ophelia and her writing, but it just sucks you right in. These stories are not like anything you have read or probably ever will read anywhere else. Aurum is one of the immortal dragons that has been waiting for mates for centuries. When her vision of her mate is standing in front of her and then leaves her, she will do anything she can to get him back. Nicholas is left behind after Calder saves him from years of being locked up. Nicholas and Calder have been extremely close for a very long time. Calder doesn't just leave Aurum he also leaves Nicholas. This is a beautifully written love story between three people that have to find their way. I am so lucky to be part of the ARC group that got to read an advance copy for my honest review. Fair warning this has m/m, m/m/f, and m/f/m sex scene. If this is not for you, do not read.
An exceptionally erotic romance between Calder, Nicholas, and Aurum. Follow their story and their struggles to find one another. Learn about the other races within this splendid realm, the Satrys, Nymphs, and Ursas to name just a few. If you have not done so you will want to make sure you have read the previous two books to the Immortal Dragons series.
Ophelia Bell had once again delivered a remarkable story of love, intrigue and struggle.
This is one amazing series once you start this book you are taken for one hell of a ride. Aurumn was looking for the fated mates that her dreams were telling her about. Calder and Nicholas are her mates but there's loads of trouble before things get sorted . I absolutely loved this entertaining book and look forward to reading more in the series. Voluntarily reviewed this advance copy
**I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review*
Aurum is the gold dragon of six immortal dragon siblings. While looking for her mates one of which she found but ran off (as told from the previous book) she gets to know Nicholas a young Ursa male who promised to take her and her siblings to the Nymphea (nymph and satyr folks) home.
I loved this book! Aurum was an amazing character her need to please her mood swings (on a personal level) were relatable. I also loved Nicholas and all the emotions he goes through during the entire book. Calder was also a pretty strong character, I loved his sense of duty no matter what it cost him. I enjoyed the bonding with the characters and the set ups for the next books to come. I thoroughly enjoy the erotica of these books. And the bonus of having dragons! I am excited the next books to come, especially for Aodh's book. I loved this book and characters MORE than the first two. Bravo Ophelia!
The third installment in the series focuses mainly on Aurum and her mates. It does provide glimpses into who Aodh and Gavra's mates and as to what species Numa's mates are. It also provides further redemption for Nikhil. The plot is strong and the characters well defined. The steamy scenes are as ever present as they were in the other books. It's a great read and promises to be even more exciting in the future books as things are only just to starting to be revealed. I volunteered to read this book.
I received an advance reader copy in exchange for a fair review. This is a great series of books and this one deals mainly with Nicholas, Aurum and Calder as the main love interests. It is a well written story with many characters and I sometimes had to stop to recall their many different roles. The erotic interaction between Nicholas and Calder, then Nicholas and Aurum and then all three were a fantastic part of the story. Their appears to be another book coming as you are left with questions. Can't wait for the next book. Loved the cover.
