First rule: Never get involved with a hockey player.

Second rule: Screw the first.

Harris “The Grinder” Daws is a notorious bad boy

On the ice he grinds down his opponents

Just as surely as he grinds down untold numbers of women in bed

A total player

The kind of man I’ve always tried to avoid

And yet, there’s something about him

That stirs feelings of desire deep within me

I’ve worked so hard to get where I am

But I’ve played it safe for so long

Do I dare risk it all

For a night of passion with a beast?

ONE INCREDIBLY AMAZING TREAT!!!
Sizzling! Angelina raised the bar and lowered the boom, ramping up the enthusiasm and thrill, melding this baby together piece by piece seamlessly. Unveiling a foray of drama, intrigue, dreams and desires along with a boatload doubts, risking it all, blasting this little fella to life spectacularly. Highlighting explosive, well rounded scenario's, that punch dead center with such exuberance and style, thrusting this gem into the eye of the storm, blasting it into a tailspin with a life altering, mind-blowing culmination. Bumbling through the trials and tribulations, along with the shocking twists and startling turns, testing our characters in ways they could have never anticipated. Heating up the chemistry, elevating the attraction, witnessing the sizzle flowing through the pages, alluring and mesmerizing, until you feel the electrifying hum through your veins. The characters are authentic and realistic with qualities and traits that blend into amazing personalities. The scenes are so colorfully descriptive it paints an elaborate backdrop that makes the storyline pop. Outstanding job Angelina, thanks for sharing this little guy with us.

This was my first time reading this author and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. The story of Harris “The Grinder” had me captivated from the beginning. The book was so entertaining that I couldn’t wait to find out what was going to happen next. At one point I didn’t think Rebecca was going to go for Harris but then something else would happen that I didn’t see coming. I hope I get to read more books from this author because this book was quite unexpected and the characters will stay with me for quite some time. Thank you!

Wow what a start to this series. The story pulls you in right from the beginning and I couldn't put the book down. The chemistry between Harris and Rebecca. Harris the a professional hockey player and Rebecca is the marketing director of the team. There is an attraction there. Harris is the bad boy and she know she needs to stay away. This book will take you on a ride. A must read. Looking forward to read more from this series. This is a new author for me and I wasn't disappointed.

A Love Lesson Learnt:
By Korkoi -
Rebecca has made a decision to concentrate solely on her career at the expense of being in a relationship, but spending time with Harris makes her change her mind. However, before their potential relationship can go ahead, there are obstacles that they will have to navigate through. This story shows how two people help each other to grow and better themselves, because they were meant to be together. I really enjoyed reading this book.

This is my fave genre, so I'm really sorry to say that I couldn't get into this. Whilst this has the potential to be a fun story its so poorly executed. From the beginning there are inconsistencies etc.
The author really needs to get herself some peeps who will beta read for her and point out what are the obvious mistakes readers will find. I can't invest my time in reading something that hasn't had a good edit and it doesn't say much about the reader relationship. it's a shame potential is here.
