Closer by Asia Monique & ShanicexLola is a beautiful love story about Kane’s restaurant owner Eli Owens and health inspector Skye Collins. Eli and Skye meet at a bar and it is instant chemistry! A 2 night stand leads to a wonderful love story. They’ve both experienced heartache and pain in previous relationships. Eli isn’t deterred by past relationships but Skye is a bit apprehensive at first. Skye is eventually able to overcome her fears and the story unfolds beautifully. The side characters are amazing, I want to know all about the Owens’ sisters and the Collins’ brothers. This is a great collaboration, couldn’t have asked for anything more!

Crazy In Love
I like the fact that two of my favorite authors got together and wrote this good and juicy banger. I like how Eli and Skye came together and fought to be together even with them both having fears of being devastatingly hurt again. I hope that more collaborations will be done with Malachi, Kalmin, and Elle. I want to know who Malachi let get away, what line of work does Kalmin do for him to have known Everything about Eli before Skye told him anything, and Elle finding real, deep love to go right along with her love for poetry. Hopefully, this is just the beginning. Am I wrong for being a little disappointed that Skye wasn't pregnant and I really wanted them to have a baby😔🤔

I love it when they want each other!
I feel like it's easy to get lost in the journey when the hero and heroin want each other equally. I love it when two adults can decide quickly that this is the one. I love it when the storyline has real word tendencies. With all of that said, add hot, steamy, sensual, sex!!!!! You have yourself a winner!!!!! I don't talk plot in reviews, but Eli knew exactly how to talk that ish and back it up. I was rooting for Skye and Eli from Day one!!!! This is a great read!

Wow! It was great to see Eli and Skye story continue. I’m glad Skye finally decided to put her fears away and allowed Eli to be the one. Asia Monique and ShaniceLola are a true romance novel dynamic duo. You want be disappointed!

Nice and easy
The story was a nice easy love story without a lot of drama and unnecessary foolishness. Yes, there was a crazy ex and a mean girl wannabe, two brothers, five sisters and a partridge in a pear tree. A good read.

It was so refreshing to read about a couple that were truly in love with each other. I like how the author didn’t write in any ex wives or jealous girlfriends. It was just about the two of them.

King Eli!
Wow! This story pulled on the heartstrings! Both Eli and Skye both had baggage from previous relationships. But, their connection was so strong, that they were willing to throw caution to the wind. Skye frustrated me a bit in the beginning giving Eli the run around, when all he wanted to do was prove himself worthy of her. Once all the baggage was unloaded,
and cards were on the table, it was smooth sailing. Beautiful instalove story where the characters showed vulnerability and raw emotion as they fell. Great job ladies! 👍👍👍

Soooo good!!
Ahh! Omgsh, how did I not cry at that ending!!? This one gave me all the feels! Wow! Eli and Skye were a match made in heaven. Both were fighting insecurities from prior failed relationships but that didn’t stop them from acting on their feelings. It took a while but the attraction between these two was so intense.. one ‘two night’ stand turned into something greater. Skye was kind of unsure in the beginning but Eli would not give up on her. Once Skye let her guard down and realized that Eli was feeling the same way as she was, it was on! Closer was such a great love story; I literally couldn’t contain my excitement at the end. Like, this was a beautifully written love story!!!

Simply Amazing...
These two Queens created an amazing love story.
Eli & Skye found each other during a time that they both needed their faith in love restored. These beauties blessed us with the good and the ugly sides to their courtship. They both had a strong loving family dynamic and great friends. This book had me sooo in aww and lmao at the same time. Definitely a must read!

I dont know why I didn’t read this book before, I must have missed it somewhere. I’m so glad I did now because it was amazing. I enjoyed every minute of it. The characters were great an their love was amazing to read about. Keep up the great work.

I really really enjoyed ready this book because of the way it shows how selfish we can be when it comes to heartbreak and moving on. This couple fought for their live. It was so refreshing to see the progress.

Refreshing
Just enough push and pull, a sprinkle of drama and, a beautiful and refreshing depiction of love. I was drawn into the story from the beginning. Skye and Eli were perfect for each other, they exuded desire and were just magnetic. One of the things to take away is to not only think of my own fears/experiences but that of the other person. First read and definitely not the last.

Fantastic and Emotional Book
I enjoyed reading this book so much! I couldn't put my kindle down! I enjoyed Skye and Eli journey to love! I love how they overcame their fear of getting hurt! I enjoyed the love that was displayed between them! I enjoyed the storyline and the chemistry as well! Such a fantastic, outstanding, emotional, and amazing book!

A story about not giving up on love
I like that we get a chance to see that men get hurt in the game of love too. Eli allowed himself the time to deal with the pain but the last part took him encountering Skye to finally find his happy. Glad Skye finally took a chance and found a man that was perfect for her. Great story

Fear can't stay here
Initially I thought Skye was too indecisive, but I, like Eli, had to recognize her fears. Eli was not only patient, but understanding and can tune with his own emotions, which was refreshing.
