Luke, Dan, and Redleaf finally meet the alien pilot of the interstellar craft that has been sending them pulses. The exchange of ideas over the first few days after the sentinel’s arrival reveals the extraordinarily advanced civilization that sent it. A civilization unlike anything imagined on earth. And there are disturbing questions. Not the least of them being why, exactly, such a civilization would bother to contact humans. And that question is not without significance as power hungry politicians try to take control of the seemingly magical technology on board the craft. But the powers wanting the technology refuse to listen to the team who discovered the sentinel. And so, events quickly spin out of control. Only with the help of the dark pilot is there any hope of recovery from the disaster being set up by the sentinel craft after its landing on the surface of earth.
Well I'm pleased to say that part two of this trilogy was even better than part One. I read almost non-stop as one fantastic idea after another unfolded. I love this cast of characters, several new ones have arrived in this book both good and bad guys. Who doesn't love to hate bad guys, and part Two has more than a few. It's just a great read with something interesting for everybody. Looking forward to seeing how the good guys are going to get out the mess they're in. And whether that alien pilot is friend or foe. And of course I want the bad guys to be suitably reimbursed! Keep you posted on Part Three when I finish.
