I really tried to pace myself with this last installment. But i like a good book that always have something good coming up. As stated from my last reviews on this series. This is the most proper and polite book i have ever read. Then add that to a zombie apocalypse series. I smiled through most of the book/audio reading. This without giving any spoilers. This was taken in England country sides. The narrator was a proper english man, which did a great job.

If you like zombie genres, and looking for an upbeat, more positive planned out survival story. This up your alley. I don’t know if there is another installment, but it isn’t needed. Yet if there is one. I would like to know.

Seriously. This is so fun to experience. I think i liked it because i would write a book similar to this one. Maybe not as polite, but organized and planned out. I believe survival in a lot of the zombie stories are due to lack of good planning. This also reads like a how to survival list🙂 Enjoy

The traveling survivors settled in Warwick Castle which will be their permanent base until the apocalypse is obliterated. In an interesting and convenient turn of events, the battalion the group met in the last book has joined them and established contact with the army that asked them to be based in the castle to protect the civilians. This the premise of this 4th book.

I’m still not a fan as it’s too cheesy with unrealistic cheerfulness that psychologically is not possible. The children and adults who suffered great loss can sleep soundly and baby Sarah who is supposed to months old doesn’t cry out loudly in times of zombies encounter as Zombies are just normal daily hazards. It is a different settings than normal zombies/apocalyptic novels, but with too much luck that can the novel a bit laughable with the occasional banter.

I don’t know how will this conclude, but I have a feeling that the group will establish a community that will grow in size with the army wiping out the zombies and Britain will be built again.

Fabulous series

It is really hard to get a good UK based Zombie book and Chris Harris nails it on the head. He doesn't skirt around what most zompoc authors do, it is the pure realities of every day families and what homes would contain.
The plot is easy to follow but you can't predict it. The main characters and secondary characters are all believable, relatable and stay in your heart. If your 'rooting' for them then you know the author has done a good job. Descriptions of locations, ways of life and community are spot on.
Absolutely brilliant, thank you!

Brilliant as always

Despite reaching the castle as action packed as always.
Next book can't come soon enough.
Problem with catching a series in the early stages - waiting for the next one.

Brilliant

This is a great series . The plot is really good and the character's believable. The only downside to this series is the long wait between books. But with that said they are well written and worth the wait.

Great read!

Each new book in the series just keeps getting better and better. I eagerly wait the next book in the series and have to make myself read slower so I don't finish the new book too fast. I CAN'T wait till the fifth book!

Entertaining

A slightly different take on zombies and one for British readers. Read through kindle unlimited and whilst diverting it's not Shakespeare.
