An unlikely attraction. An indisputable desire. Can their battle of wills lead to love? Jace “Raider” DeWitt loves everything about his life as a Navy SEAL. The action, danger, comradery, and his undercover work in the MC. Most of all, he embraces the unknown, not knowing what each day will bring. After years of serving his country, his relationships consist of his team brothers, and he sees no need to expand the circle. Until he discovers the only woman who’s ever held his interest has moved to Liberty Lake. Alvena Kasey had been ready for a change ever since her good friend, Dani Robertson, left Pine Glen to marry Ghost, a Navy SEAL and VP of the undercover MC. Finding work as a nurse in the town across the state was easy, as was settling into her cozy rental home. She hadn’t planned on running into the most ornery patient she’d ever treated. Obnoxious, insufferable, and much too handsome for his own good. The one man who still dominated her dreams. One positive outcome came from their strained reunion—the discovery each has a heart for abused and abandoned children. Thrown together to protect a young boy being stalked by an abusive mother and her boyfriend, Jace and Ali work side-by-side to keep him safe while guarding themselves from an intense, mutual attraction. But physical abuse isn’t the only threat. A small group of soulless men wants the boy, and anyone who protects him, dead. Can their mutual love of a young boy hold them together? Or will deep-seated independence make a shared future impossible? Exposed is book seven in the Eternal Brethren Military Romantic Suspense Series by best seller Shirleen Davies. It is a stand-alone, full-length novel with no cliffhanger and a guaranteed HEA.

ARC for honest review with no compensation

Exposed is book 7 in the Eternal Brethren Military Romantic Suspense series by Shirleen Davies. While each book in this series is a standalone, reading the prior books gives you more insight into the Eternal Brethren and all it stands for. Another well written story!

Alvena Kasey, a nurse ready for a change treated Jace “Raider” DeWitt, undercover Seal and part of the Eternal Brethren when he was injured during a training in Pine Glen over a year ago decides it time to move closer to her friend, Dani in Liberty Lake. What she doesn’t expect is to meet up with the her former pain in the butt patient and who she can’t seem to forget. Into the mix is a young boy they need to protect at all cost or will they lose it all?

So much chemistry, twists, turns, romance, abuse, protecting children and suspense that keeps you turning the pages to find out what happens next...can’t wait for the next book in this series!!

I received a complimentary copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

This is the seventh book in Shirleen Davies’s “Eternal Brethren” military romantic suspense series. The Eternal Brethren is a motorcycle club (MC) made up of undercover Navy SEALs.

Jace (aka Raider) DeWitt was injured in an explosion, and spent months in hospital under the care of Nurse Alvena, “Ali” Kasey. The two of them fought like cats and dogs the entire time. In spite of that they could never get each other out of their minds and dreams.

Since then, Ali has moved across town to be near her good friend, Dani, who is married to a member of the Eternal Brethren MC. Ali and Jace become reacquainted at this time. Unfortunately, they both automatically fall back into their old habit of bickering with each other.

Meanwhile, Ali befriends an abused boy, Timmy, who finds his own way to the hospital looking for help. Unfortunately Timmy is sent away by a doctor who refuses to treat a “charity case.” As Ali searches for him, she enlists Jace’s help. Since both Jace and Ali have an affinity for abused children, they work together to find Timmy so they can help him.

At the same time, the Eternal Brethren are attempting to chase down children traffickers so they can save the children and arrest the people in charge. This is a very powerful storyline that gives the reader a taste of reality.

Exposed grabbed my attention from the first chapter and didn’t let me go until the last page. It is an emotional roller coaster ride that will leave you haunted when you realize people like these actually exist in the real world.

Exposed, the 7th installment in the Eternal Brethren series, features Jace “Raider” DeWitt and Alvena "Ali" Kasey, who first met in a previous story while Ali was nursing Raider back after a serious line of duty injury. Because of emotional scars from his childhood, Raider never believed he would settle down for a happily ever after, but he finds himself undeniably unable to resist his attraction to Ali, which first began while she was nursing him. Even though they spar at first, they are drawn together during their mutual quest to save abused Timmy, whom Ali bonded with during a sneak ER visit. This dovetails nicely into an ongoing conflict the Brethren are involved in and includes lots of actions, twists and turns, and a surprise villain or two. We get to see some of our former hero faves in action once again and find out a little more about a few others! A great story that kept me reading far into the night!

I really enjoyed reading about Raider's backstory and finding out what made him tick. Based on some of his actions in previous books, I was unsure whether I would grow to like him, because I found him somewhat insufferable. He was completely redeemed in Exposed and was a great hero. Ali was both feisty and compassionate and made a perfect mate for Jace.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my fair and honest review.

Exposed is Eternal Brethren Military Romantic Suspense Book number 7 by Shirleen Davies. This elite military group of Navy SEALs go undercover as an illegal motorcycle gang. While I do not lean toward MC suspense or romance books I love that these guys are good guys disguised to fool and take down the true criminals against the country.

All this undercover and dedication toward the country that they serve comes with huge personal sacrifice. Never is it more evident than with Jace “Raider” DeWitt who never even considered a Happily-ever-after until meeting Alvena Kasey. No way does he see it happening even though he now entertains the thought. Their story is one of danger, suspense and unmistakable attraction that could evolve into more under the right conditions. Throw a child in danger into the middle of these two and you have one page turner of a read.

Ali and Jace

I have most of not all Ms Davies books. They are so hard for me to review. I start out then find myself rewriting them. There is so much in her stories. I don't want to leave anything out. How they met, their relationship, then Timmy enters their lives. I cried but they had to turn him over to Child Services. A MC gang that is involved with child trafficking is after Timmy and Ali. Because of this Ali and Jace's relationship starts improving. The gang kidnaps him from his foster home. He makes a daring escape. While this is going on they have a couple of jobs they do. FBI, DA, police officer and a junior legislator working with the child traffickers.

I could not put the book down. Then a couple days later I reread the book to make sure I didn't miss anything. I received an ARC for a fair
and honest review. I purchased a copy for my , library.

I have read all the Eternal Brethren Military Series and have totally enjoyed each one of them. Exposed is about Jace DeWitt known as Raider who has always made his life as a Navy SEAL and his undercover work in the MC his number one priority. Alvena Kasey, known as Avi, is a nurse. She has moved to Liberty Lake working as an Emergency Room nurse. Even though Raider and Avi seemed to not get alone on his recuperation, (he was injured a couple of books back), he never got her out of his mind. Then Avi meets a little boy named Timmy, Raider is back in her life trying to help save this boy from the abuse he is receiving from his mother’s boyfriend who is a rival from another MC. This story has the drama and suspense dealing with corrupt executives, child trafficking, etc. Good job Shirleen, can't wait for the next book.

I absolutely love this series. You can’t help but fall in love with both Jace (Raider) and Ali. They met each other months ago but have to overcome past hurt to be able to move forward. Add little Timmy an abused boy and Jace’s childhood as well as Ali’s compassion and this is a book that you will find hard to put down. This book has romance and suspense. A really really enjoyable read. Although this book is part of a series it can be read as a stand-alone. I especially love how characters from the previous books featured in this book as well. This book is a definite must read for all action romance lovers. I can’t wait for the next book in the series!
This is my honest review of a copy given to me by the author.

Another page turning read in the Eternal Brethren series. Like all the previous books in the series while focusing on the relationship of the main characters the running theme of the undercover navy seals fighting crime provides plenty of thrills and tension. This time they are dealing with people trafficking.. The men of theEternal Brethren have a strong bond and a determination to win the struggle against organised crime and are always there for each other. There is also child neglect and physical and emotional abuse at the heart of the story and the developing relationship of Jace and Ali and their relationship with each other and with the little boy Timmy holds the readers attention just as much as the tense action in the storyline.

Ali returns to town and reconnects with Jace who she nursed before. He had been a difficult patient but there is undeniable chemistry between them. Timmy, an abused child comes to Ali's hospital and then disappears before she can help him. When she tells Jace, he promises to help her help if she sees Timmy again as he recalls his own abusive childhood. As the Eternal Brethren work to shut down a child trafficking ring, Jace goes above and beyond to help save the youngsters. An emotional rollercoaster with the help for Timmy and the hot romance developing between Jace and Ali. Read an ARC for an honest review.

Wow!! What an absolutely amazing romantic thriller that completely captivated me from the beginning and had me hanging onto the edge of my seat through the twists and turns, ups and downs, unable to put the book down until I read the last word. I love the kick-ass Eternal Brethren and especially liked the attraction and sizzling chemistry between SEAL Jace "Raider" DeWitt and emergency room nurse Ali Kasey. If you enjoy well-crafted, jaw-dropping intense romance, don't miss "Exposed" book seven in the must-read Eternal Brethren Military Romantic Suspense series by gifted author, Shirleen Davies. I received an advance reader copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my review.

What can I say another wonderful read. Raider bad boy MC member good guy disguised. He has his own personal secrets as well. The woman Ali a nurse who had previously nursed him back to ride again now needs his help and protection. Ali is trying to help an abused boy Timmy and Raider is helping her. It fuels their hate to love relationship. Raider is compelled to reveal his own secrets of abuse to Ali in order to win her love. Well written suspense and love story. Thank you for the ARC.

I have enjoyed reading this book about the relationship of Ali and Jace (Raider), but the character who really won my heart was little Timmy. These books about the Eternal Brethren are full of action, romance, and relationships, not only between the couples, but also between the men who bond together on their missions and the women who love them. I am already looking forward to the next book in the series.

Another fantastic romantic suspense from Shirleen in the series about the Brethren.
This time it's about Jace/Raider, and Ali, whom we met in the previous book where she nursed him when he was burnt.
The people traffickers are targeting young children. Timmy appears at the hospital having been beaten by his mother's boyfriend. The Brethren then become involved.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Another wonderful book in the Brethren Series with Jace/Raider and Ali. They had met in a earlier book when she treated his burn and now they meet again when a little boy named Timmy gets treated in the ER for injuries from his mothers boyfriend. This centers around the child trafficing ring and with Raider and his buddies from the Brethren going undercover to investigate. This is full of suspense and romance and I loved every day. Great book and loved the characters.

Another fantastic Brethren story! Full of action, suspense, drama and affection. Jace and Ali get over their differences to tackle a much bigger problem in their small town. Who would figure all that was going on under everyone’s nose. The writing is amazing and will get a grip on you from the beginning. Plan on a long sitting because you won’t want to put it down!

This is another amazing read in the Eternal Brethren series. It was a fast-paced, suspenseful read that kept me turning the pages until the end. Jace and Ali were great characters and who wouldn't fall in love with Timmy. I also love keeping up with the other great characters from the previous books. I can't wait to read the next book in this amazing series.

Jace, code name Raider, had been nursed by Ali and met again when an injured Timmy arrived at the hospital. The Eternal Bretheren were involved in solving a human trafficking operation. A high quality of writing and story plot to draw you into the development of the characters. What an incredible read.

What a wonderful exciting entry into this series. The dedication and strengthen shown by the members of the Brethren is astounding. The actions and emotional feelings of the main characters makes this story flow as you turn the pages. Through in a small child amidst the danger and you have the best book of the series.

Oh, my goodness this series gets better and better! I loved the snarky banter between Jace and Ali when they first met after he was blown up. Now the banter and chemistry are so much better! I truly enjoyed the rollercoaster of emotions and actions this story takes you on. I found their story unique and the aspect of child abuse real but tasteful. I cannot wait for the next book!

Another great MC read

What can I say? Shirleen has don it again with another great story encompassing our favorite Navy SEAL MC —The Eternal Brethren.
I was waiting for Raider and Ali’s story and I was not disappointed. The spark was alive and well. Add little Timmy to the mix, and some serious suspense and this one checked all the boxes.
Great book.

This was great writing on what our Navy Seals can do. This is Raiders and Ali's story. This book has plenty of action and couldn't put it down. They are still working with human traffickers and trying to save children. Sad for the children and what they went through. Great book. HEA.

If only, maybe there are, could it be, and all the other questions I have in the back of my mind as I read the Eternal Brethren Series by this author. Amazing writing, depth of research and knowledge, and, ability to put into words what many of us feel about good, evil and justice. That’s this series of stories. We know there are drugs, Drug Lords, criminal behavior and most definitely human trafficking, but, when you see it written; feel the horror experienced; it makes me hope there are groups of men and women out there that help make the world a better place.

It’s hard to believe the terror experienced when held captive, exposed and sold on a sex slave market. I pray there really are “brethren” to help. “I’m Rock. We’re here to make sure no one ever hurts you again.” And I cried! This book is about Jace “Raider” DeWitt and where he fits within the scope of this author’s heroes. Loved it and thank the author for an early ARC so I could enjoy her book, her writing and dream that there are people in the world that make life better for victims of circumstances beyond their control.

This was my first opportunity to read one of Shirleen Davies' books in the Eternal Brethren Military series. I was not disappointed in the storyline, characters, drama and suspense. The story hooked me from the first chapter till the end of the book. I couldn't put it down and read this in one sitting. This story centers around the budding romance between Jace "Raider" DeWitt and Alvena "Ali" Kasey, amid the ongoing missions of the Eternal Brethren MC, which are undercover Seals and Jace is a member of. The story brings light to the plight of child trafficking, CPS, the foster care system along with various missions undertaken by the undercover Seals. The story is fast-paced, full of action, danger, suspense and romance. I highly recommend this book and am anxious to read the previous books in this series. I was given an ARC in return for my honest review and now you have it.
