As with all the "Girl In or Out of the Box" books, this is a keeper. Fast easy familiar reads with characters to love and grow up or down with. Recommend the whole 40+ books -- each has its own story to tell and you will never be bored. Read On!

This was much more interesting and exciting than the previous Music. I read Dragon and the subsequent book, Control, back to back. They really tie to each other and if you are anything like me you will probably want to read them straight through. A lot more action and the reader really starts to understand what's going on with the Network and Sienna.

Finally, back to intricate plot lines & good story progression. Sienna helps thwart a kidnapping only to learn of a kidnapping ring run by the Chinese government. She has to work around The Network who doesn't want her stepping out of line & also learns the ulterior motives of the Chinese government that are terrifying in this book and in real life.

This guy is my hero.

Well, a close second next to the goddess that is Sienna. RJC never fails to transport me into a world a lot better than my own. 37 books in and I am still Team Sienna (and Friday). If you haven’t begun your journey yet I envy you. Start from the very beginning and like me you will not be disappointed ♥️. Ultimate respect to you Mr Crane.

Very good series

How does the author keep making every book so exciting and fresh? Keep them coming! The authors comments at the end are well worth reading. Keep making noise about the PRC and maybe more people will understand the horrors that are happening in our world.

Well thought out action adventure with twists

As before another we'll plotted and paced book. Plenty to keep the action, Sci fi and Sienna fans happy, with refs of other modern things thrown in for free.
The chilling thing is that all the things attributed to China are based in fact and not fiction. Frightening beyond words.
THE NETWORK also put yhier hat In the ring and try to get the upper hand...

The reasons for everything in this book, plans for world domination and such all have a ring of truth, not a volcano base or white cat in sight.
If you enjoy the girl in the box books this will not dissapoint..... Enjoy.

Dragon

Another great story but Sieanna was limited in several ways and not able to use her Netanyahu special abilities. She seemed to be unprepared and if I hadn't read prior books in the series I would not understand how she was able to do what she did on the freightor.

Sienna is working for the FBI, trying to find the suspects in a meta orchestrated attempted kidnapping when she stumbles upon a much bigger plot that has international implications. This kidnapping is just the tip of the iceberg for a bigger plot that PRC has sanctioned to create their meta army. In the midst of the investigation, Sienna has an unlikely ally, one that was previously hellbent on prosecuting her relentlessly. The powers that be definitely don't want to start a war with PRC and are quietly trying to undermine and stop the findings of this investigation. The FBI and others want this investigation to quietly go away. A white tiger jumps in to save Sienna's skin on several occasions. Who is this new mysterious ally?

Sienna is truly a one of a kind hero. Her enemies constantly underestimate her. I love how they think she is some mindless drone they can control. Controlling Sienna is like controlling a feather in a F5 tornado. With that said, this book was amazing from beginning to end. Oh the end is to die for! Great stuff Mr. Crane! Another excellent book in an excellent series.

Dragon – Review

Sienna has been working for the FBI doing what she always does – putting wrong to right. This time around our heroine finds herself in the cross hairs of a world class country – China. In investigating a kidnapping Sienna and her FBI partner discover a nauseating plot with world reaching significance. Robert J Crane introduces us the reader to new characters with new challenges. As we learn more about the backdoor shenanigans of powerbrokers we find that Sienna is not completely in the dark of those who have dark interest against her. As always Robert’s tales makes us do a lot of thinking with references to past adventures. More to come for all involved. Well worth your time. Keep it up!

For those new to Mr. Crane, a new twist after the end.

Love this series!

This is one of my top three series for five stars across the board! I not only enjoy the bad ass Sienna heroine kicking ass and taking names, but what we learn while reading. China is just a garbage gov't treating their people like throw away plates. China crates only for the almighty yen, and people be damned! Crane is telling this story within a great Sienna story. The truths behind this fictional story is exactly why we Americans who love this country also love our POTUS! He is a leader that isn't tolerating China's crap bc the dems want him to bow down, and we America loving citizens are not tolerating democrats bc we shall not bow down!

I've just closed the virtual cover to this book which I confess, I found disturbing. And not for the usual ick factors.

This is, as ever, great storytelling. No doubt about that. Fast paced, good banter, characters you want to punch in the throat, well... You know the deal.

The disturbing part comes from the bad guy plot and the bad guy's history. And how very present it is.

Read the book. It progresses the arc beautifully. But read what comes after too. Fact is truly stranger than fiction in this case.

Bravo Mr Crane. A veritable tour de force

Chinese take away...literally

Excellent Sienna adventure again from Mr. Crane. Highly topical and immotive, so glad Sienna had some 'hammer time' well worth the wait, loved the new character 'Tiger/Pigeon' and the fact 'Yoga pants' is still a prominent person in Siennas life. Absolutely cannot wait for Sienna to smash Chalke and Chapman into the ground...... hopefully soon.... and poor Julie just doing her job like the rest of us..... just pawns in the big picture. Also, Bilson? Murdered? How's that going to play out? Have to wait and see I suppose. Can't. Wait.

Poignant

This book is a mind field of political and cultural significance. It really hits home on many things lots of us ignore in the real world because it doesn’t directly involve us. As well as this the story was interesting
and we see siennas intelligence shining through. Really enjoyed this book and definitely touches on some serious issues. Completely different from all the other sienna stories but definitely worth a read.

Sienna rules (spoiler alert)

I like the way Crane is redeeming Sienna little by little. But I dislike the way he killed another redeemed character at the end. Finally, Crane’s overt politicizing this book with the anti-Chinese government themes is...interesting. It’s unusual for a best selling author and I applaud him for taking a stand.

This one was pretty much all Sienna, and the story was captivating. I am pleased that her relationship with her partner improved so much. New and interesting characters gave it a little change. Great book! Again!

Verses Sienna. I totaling loved this book. All the action you would expect from Robert Crane. Is Sienna mellowing? Except for the metahuman aspect, this could easily be considered current events.
