Vampire Hunters beware. This human won't be rolling over for anyone, not anymore.
Left stranded with Darren while her masters outrun the hunters, Piper has had enough of being a liability. With a great new job, a new attitude, and surprisingly wicked right hook, Piper isn't going to just wait around anymore for the hunters to destroy her life. If only she could find them.
Favors from old friends and deals with the devil lead Piper down a narrow and dangerous road. One that could save everything she holds dear or bring it all crashing down on all of them.
This book features a large harem relationship, MMF with M/M
Erin Bedford is an otaku, recovering coffee addict, and Legend of Zelda fanatic. Her brain is so full of stories that need to be told that she must get them out or explode into a million screaming chibis. Obsessed with fairy tales and bad boys, she hasn’t found a story she can’t twist to match her deviant mind full of innuendos, snarky humor, and dream guys.
On the outside, she’s a work from home mom and bookbinger. One the inside, she’s a thirteen-year-old boy screaming to get out and tell you the pervy joke they found online. As an ex-computer programmer, she dreams of one day combining her love for writing and college credits to make the ultimate video game!
Until then, when she’s not writing, Erin is devouring as many books as possible on her quest to have the biggest book gut of all time. She’s written over thirty books, ranging from paranormal romance, urban fantasy, and even scifi romance.
Also, third person is really weird when writing about yourself. Just putting that out there.
Well, I think she is officially with all 6 vampires and Darren. That's just a lot of men to keep up with. I have a husband, and just keeping up with him can feel exhausting lol. I don't know how Piper does it.
Actually disappointed at the rushed ending. Marcus never gets his shot, we don’t see any of pipers adventures and there’s no closure at all. It honestly feels like the author didn’t care anymore.
After a year of staying away from the Durands and being with Darren, Piper has grown tired of waiting for the other shoe to drop. So, she decides to take matters into her own hands. With her supernatural abilities as a human servant and a year of training in martial arts and weapons, she sets out to hunt the vampire hunters instead, either to convince them not to go after her men or to die trying.
Trigger Warning~ blood, violence, torture, and explicit content.
Piper has a more badass personality development in this one. Now confident in herself and her skills, she is ready to take on the world. She has finally broken free from her dependency on the Durands and wants to take matters into her own hands.
I love the way her relationship with Darren has developed too. Darren smiles so much in this book; it is heartwarming! Also, it was kinda funny reading how the Durands almost lost their sanity one by one because of their panic over the situation and how Piper would react.
Also, finally Marcus is on board! Seven boyfriends! I don't know if I should be proud or jealous of Piper.
Though there has not been much character development in the vampires, except for Marcus and Wynn, I guess, there is still hope, seeing that there are 3 more books to go.
I am fully invested in the story, in the series, and cannot wait to see what happens next. If you like a why choose, vampire romance with a sassy heroine and infuriatingly likable heroes, then do read the series. It is not a standalone, so you would have to start from the first book - Indebted to the Vampires.
To be honest, I'm not for sure why this book is getting five stars from people?? We were utterly denied a serious, well-written conclusion to a rather fun/quirky vampire story. It reads like a novella and a bad one at that... We get random POVs from all the guys at random points throughout the storyline and one chapter even reads like the author mashed up two versions of it... This is supposed to be the series' conclusions and yet instead of an HEA, we get an HFN... And DON'T get me started on the STUPID decision Piper made, all in the name of saving her 'men'... WHY DID THE BOOK TAKE THIS ROUTE!?!
(PS- The epilogue was pointless. Didn't even need it.)
The author did say she plans on doing some spinoff books/series, but I have zero interest in them, especially as they will follow the Hunters, and more specifically this new, randomly introduced Mizuki character... It's the last book!! Why!??!..
Just ugh. So frustrated I wasted time reading this🤦🏼♀️
Wow Piper (FMC) turned all bad*** in book 5 in the series. It was a great turnabout that she ended up being the strong one for a change. I really liked that. The steam levels were off of the charts in this book and Darren................my god he was a pleasant/steamy surprise. Very Hot!!. I love all these characters, the banter and the steam. It is one hell of a series and one ive loved every minute reading
Loved By The Vampires by Erin Bedford is an amazing end to this series. This is book number five in this amazing series that I have loved reading very much. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about romantic suspense, dark and paranormal romances.

This has turned out to be a kick ass series that has had me hooked from the very first book! Our female mc has grown and wow she is totally a bad ass now so vampire hunters watch out!! There’s action, adventure, there’s still a few twists as well as sexy passion I really don’t want to say goodbye!
I didn't like this conclusion very much. The fact that it's missing an entire year seems kinda silly to me. So magically we start hearing about her bulking up and all this stuff about Darren and her together. It isn't plotted out well to say the least. I don't like the hunter angle either. I wish we could have just ended Boris and let her live in peace with the guys. All this extra stuff about what her role is and all that doesn't matter so much to me. Now she's stuck being a hunter and in some ways that isn't bad considering she can prevent non threatening vampires from being killed (but given how shady that leader is I doubt he'll let her live with one foot in his organization and the other with the durands).
It isn't horrible or anything but I struggled to finish it. I'm glad it's come to a close and I'm not sure I'll read the book she set up to fill in the missing year.
So this book and was good plenty of action and a few twists and turns. This book while ending with a happy for now type vibe definitely didn't end how I thought it would. The journey, the problems and where piper and her vampire harem ended up definitely was different and a surprise from what I thought would happen after the first book. But that's a lot like real life just because things didn't go how we expected and maybe there was more severity and how and downs doesn't mean it wasn't good. The why choose reverse harem aspect is well done everyone in the group has depth and interest. We get plenty of hot moments and ill just say look for the punishment it may have been a favorite moment of mine that left me wanting more. There's a lot of action in this one and piper really steps up sin some ways as well. And while I'm excited for the next book and can't wait to see what the future holds ( I hope we get some more normal, relationship building moments and i would love to see one about the mark if you know what I mean) I do hope this group eventually gets their full on ride into the sunset kind of HEA. Regardless of where this journey goes it will probably be full of surprise, action and hopefully humor and love but I'll definitely be there to read it. Very good book/series would recommend.
I would totally have a crush on Bethany. Lowkey was proud of Piper for getting her own house and her shit mostly together. Antoine's crow-snooping skills are top par. Marcus came out okay. Great pot twist hehe.
Funny notes: - Working for a lawyer wasn’t the most exciting job, especially not when your previous employment included so much excitement it almost killed you. - Forcing myself to think clearly, I grabbed Darren’s face between my hands. “What day is it?” “Friday, you know that.” Darren cupped my ass so tightly I knew I’d have bruises tomorrow. For someone who bottomed for a vampire master, he had no issue in being the top in ours. - “Wait.” I held my hand up, confusion making my face pinch. “You aren’t running away with Darren?” Piper’s eyes widened and her mouth dropped. Then she laughed. Loud and long. So much so that I was worried she wasn’t breathing. She slapped her leg and let out a long sigh. “Oh, God. I haven’t laughed like that in a long time. I mean, I absolutely love Darren. I do.” She turned her head toward the back of the house. “You hear that, stick in the mud? I love your sexy ass.” Darren chuckled from what sounded like the kitchen before the sound of his footsteps came toward us. He stopped in the doorway of the living room wearing a new shirt buttoned up and looking pristine. “I love you too. Don’t shout across the house. We aren’t barbarians.” - Smiling down at the table, I commented, "Piper does whatever the fuck she wants, without asking permission." "A fault and a blessing it seems." - My brows rose My brows rose to my hairline. "I apologize if I find that a little hard to believe. From what I've seen, you hunters are just as barbaric as the vampires you hunt."
Plot notes: - While my body cooled, I took in slow, deep breaths. Having orgasmed, I could think again. What was it I was worried about again? It was then that I felt the eyes on us. My head slowly turned toward the armchair as the lamplight clicked on. Ebony hair tumbled over wide shoulders, his piercing blue eyes staring straight into my soul as his luscious lips curled into a devilish grin. “Well, isn’t this interesting.” Fuck. (My brothers and I were unable to stand still while our loyal butler seduced the girl we were all in love with. It was indeed a plot twist none of us saw coming.) (Two of the people I cared for most in this world had found solace in each other. If that wasn't ironic, I didn't know what was.) - "She doesn't want to just save one of you." All eyes turned toward the butler. "Piper plans to save all of you. Either by killing all the hunters or finding someone else for them to chase." - My eyes snapped to his face. "I didn't say yes yet." Vincent laughed. "Oh, but you are about to. I can see it in your eyes. You want this even if you hate it." My jaw tightened at his words, but I didn't argue with him. "You need something that doesn't revolve around being the Durands' lover."
Smut notes: - I shivered as his fingers trailed along my cheek and cupped the back of my neck. - I gasped and bucked my hips against his touch. “You are meant to be savored and adored. Worrying does not suit the goddess that you are.” My cheeks ached with how wide I grinned. “You’re such a charmer. I can see why Antoine—” Darren flicked his thumb against my clit, making me groan. “No more talking.” Darren captured my lips, devouring every inch of my mouth with his tongue. - "If you get me dirty, I'll have to take a shower all over again." Piper's voice came out husky and muffled as if something covered her mouth. "Then I shall have to clean you, thoroughly." I recognized the sound of desire in Darren's voice as they stumbled out of the bathroom, nude and still slick with water. I waited for Darren to insist on cleaning up the water they were dripping all over the wooden floor. He didn't. Darren's hands slid down to cup Piper's ass, dragging her closer to him as they collapsed on the bed. To my utter surprise, Darren smiled. An open and honest grin that spread from one ear to the other. I'd never seen such a thing on Darren's face in all our time together - The hunters could be coming down here at any moment to question me, and they'd see Piper had healed me and it would put her in further danger. However, the feel of her mouth on mine was too much to ignore. I flipped us so she was beneath me on the ground and took control of the kiss. My hips thrust against her core and a startled moan slid from her throat. I swallowed it down as my tongue searched every crevice of her mouth, tasting her, memorizing every inch of her. If I was going to die soon, I wanted to die with the taste of her in my mouth and a smile on my face.
This is book six of the House of Durand series and it has been a year since Darren and Piper have had to leave the Durand brothers, who are on the run from the vampire hunters they mixed with when they attacked Boris and Valentine. Piper has stayed with Darren and bought a house in Seabrick, starting a normal job as a small law firm receptionist, to while away the boredom of her forced absence from men! The time has given her the chance to get closer to Darren and even get him to relax on a bit of his strict dress code and even his personality. Piper spends her spare time getting herself trained by a man called Billy in self-defence, martial arts and weapons. She only gets to see one of her men each month for a day or two, never all together anymore. She is getting herself ready to sort out the problem for herself, rather than wait around for her men any longer. What she doesn’t know is that one of her men is laying themselves out as a trap for the vampire hunters, even as she prepares herself.
Darren and Piper get a surprise visitor with some important information to help her in her quest and she will soon need to make a big decision, which could affect not just her, but all of the Durand brothers and Darren as well. A hint of the vampire hunter’s latest location brings the team back together, but not with quite the sort of reunion readers may normally expect in this series. The vampire hunters think of all vampires as less than animals and don’t even believe any of them are good in any way. Piper has a different idea in how to stop the vampire hunters and with the presence of their leader at a secret location, she wants to try and talk to them. It would have been nice to see something more come of Piper’s relationship with Marcus especially, as well as the rest of the Durand brothers. They were certainly mostly absent in this book and all we had was Piper’s sleazy boss trying to get off with her. Still another book to come in the series, so hopefully we can have some of the Durand brothers! I will await the final book and hope for some more action with the vampires. I received an ARC copy of this book from BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.
Book 6 according to Amazon and 5 here Some of these books should be combined as they are too short to qualify as an actual novel.
Piper and Darren have been living in Seabrick for a year. Her creepy boss and nosy co-worker insist upon taking her out after work to celebrate. Piper texts Darren so he’ll know why she doesn’t come straight home. Darren shows up at the bar where they confirm they’re a couple much to the other two’s shock (and dismay on the creepy boss’s part)
Piper has excelled with her self-defense training. The six vampires on the lam are hiding in Rhode Island. They come up with a scheme to locate the hunters by having Marcus act as a decoy and then following the hunters to their headquarters. All does not go as planned.
Meanwhile, Piper has disguised herself as a hunter and infiltrated their headquarters. She discovers Marcus has been captured and helps him escape. She is unable to hide this act and anticipates being killed by the hunters. Their leader, another creepy guy, knows much more about her and the guys than is comfortable. He recruits her to locate vampires who prey on humans in exchange for no longer pursuing her guys. Piper accepts.

Piper is tired of waiting for her man to come back to her besides the once in a while visits. Piper wants her old life back when they all lived together. She is much closer to Darren while they have lived together. She goes to work and has taken to going to a trainer. She is ready to go after the hunters. The hunters location falls into in Piper and Darrens lap from an unlikely source. Piper comes up with a plan that she hopes will work to get them over the Durands. This book shows the growth of Piper from where she was when she first meet her men until now. She will do whatever it takes to make sure she and her man are free of the hunters and any other problems.
This was a great read, was over too fast. I recommend this book and series for those that have not read it yet. It is a reverse harem, but does not take away from the series at all.

Piper is tired of having to always look over her shoulder out of fear. While the Durand brothers have had to go into hiding to stay ahead of the vampire hunters, Piper and Darren have been playing house, and developing a close relationship. Piper has also taken it upon herself to learn mixed martial arts and using a variety of weapons so she can save the Durand brothers once and for all. Things of course never go as planned, and Piper has to alter her plans when Marcus is captured by the vampire hunters while she is posing as one. She manages to rescue him, but not without upsetting the rest of the brothers for putting herself at risk. She'll never know what could have happened if they had let her fight this battle on her own, but her hand was forced and she had to make a decision that would last a lifetime. Didn't appreciate how she was punished for her actions, but I suppose it fit in with the rest of the story.
There are some things I would have liked to have seen in the book like the year she bulked up and the Romance with Darren, not just being told and seeing only a small part of it at this, which made it feel more like a novella than an actual novel .
The romance with Marcus just sorta happened and I wanted to see it develop more , also her being a hunter i don't even get a good idea of what that could entail I feel that will cause some issues in the future considering the vampire hunters hatred for anything vampire related and their shady president. Also would be interesting to see if she could get these vampire hunters to view vampires from a new point of view
On the plus side at least she's more prepared before jumping into action rather than the usual going in and then getting into trouble and having to be saved . Overall an ohk series

Truly! do not forget to read the extra chapter download. My favorite book of the series I think will always be the second book. I really felt the change in the House's dynamic to include the little klutzy maid. Piper's place in the household solidified. With the end of the 4th book, the way they lived got flipped on their heads and Piper's world was changed in a desperate blaze. But from that, Piper rises up and transforms herself into something stronger. The guys have always protected her from villains like Borus, to the more at home dramas like her parents. Now they are on the run and this time she will protect them. Going into the lions' den she confronts those who would kill her men if given the chance. The final book, gives you that HAE and I really wanted that for Piper and the closure. That being said, really... don't forget to get the extra chapter.
So, I love this series. I love the growth from the h. The reasons this is a 3.5 star instead of a 5 star are; 1. It read like a novella and I needed a big juicy book. There was just too much tht needed to be told/felt. 2. I feel like the only relationship that grew was with the h and Darren. Where was the hea woth the rest of the guys?!?! I know there will be spin offs and what not. I guess I was just disappointed in the hfn ending instead of an hea of a series. The writing was phenom. I love these characters so much. I will continue to read anything she writes in this world because I want any glimpse I can get of hea for these characters I love so much.
Piper is left with Darren to lead a mundane life while the Durands are in hiding. She doesn't waste any time though, making use of her new abilities and learning to fight. The plan to infiltrate the Hunters did not go exactly as planned, but for the love and protection, what wouldn't one do? I really liked the change in Piper and the way she matured in this series, yet I found the closure unfulfilling at best. There were so many open points - no reconciliation with the Durands after their coming out from hiding, no coming together between Marcus and Piper, no real use of Piper's fighting skills on the screen, etc. The end felt rushed, and i lacked the climax i expected to find. Good read, but below my expectations.
POV: multiple HUMOR: yes F BOMBS: yes CLIFFHANGER: yes NEW AUTHOR FOR ME: no TRIGGERS: biting, blood, mm themes
This is book 6 of 8 (at the posting of this review) in this ongoing saga about Piper, who used to be a clumsy, human maid for the Durand brothers (vampires). After waiting so long and still her vampire masters are unable to come out of hiding, she looks to herself to get things done.
She's still sassy but also toughens up through physical training and becomes more confident in who she really is. This book gave her some time with Marcus, Wynn, and Darren.
Minor typos but still really enjoying this series and look forward to the next one.

Book five of the House of Durand series. I am loving this series. It has some serious action, drama, love, sexy times, and of course, a roller coaster of actions and emotions. I do appreciate how she gets time with at least one of the guys in this book. Granted, it isn't the same as the other books. I was a bit shocked at how she has turned out in this one. But sometimes women have to get smart and take care of things themselves. I wish there were more times with all of them together but that isn't what the author chooses so we have to accept it is her vision for this story even if some do not like it. I still enjoyed it.

I am so freaking happy with how this turned out. Piper was always head strong and knew what she wanted. Piper was a constant through out the whole series and was never a disappointment. The relationships were no let down either! With out giving anything away I am just going to say hot damn I am glad they all got to where they are at the end. Also I did not see that twist of events coming ! Like what! Who would have thought Piper would end up on this new team and doing good for all kind!! Yay she will kick ass it! I am excited to see what happens in the future and get snippets of them all!!

After reading the last book Im not sure what I thought would happen next but it wasnt what I was expected we meet a whole new side to Darren piper and even Marcus that surprised me Im loving the new Darren it was soo good now I have so many questions whats next I need more there is a whole new element to the storyline now that could go in so many directions i dont even know where to try guess what could happen from here its all so exciting and the little added short story at the end made me laugh out loud im also very pleased to hear about the other side storys that are to come

I enjoyed where the story was going but by the end I was left a little unfulfilled. It almost seemed a little rushed. Loved the development of Darren and what happened with Piper but I have to admit I was disappointed that just as we started to learn a bit more about Marcus it just kind of ended. There was only a shared kiss between him and Piper. I wanted to see what he would bring to the relationship and feel the heat that had been bubbling under the surface come out between the two of them. Would love to see a bonus scene of the two of them just like Pipers punishment. But overall I really enjoyed the series!!
Loved by the Vampires is an awesome book to read. It has romance, action and surprises all in one. Piper Billings was hired on as a maid for the Durand brothers. Along with her cleaning Piper fell in love with with the Durand brothers. But surprise.. the Durand brothers are Vampires. This book picks up a year after the last book ended with Darren and Piper taking up residence in a small cottage in Seabrick while waiting for the Vampire Durand Brothers to return to them from hiding from the Hunters. The excitement is awesome and the heat is turned on to high with a slight twist in the end that I didn't see coming. I loved reading Loved by the Vampires.
Good ending to an amazing series!!! Piper developed into such a strong female character as the series progressed that you almost do recognize her personality in the last book since it changed so much since book 1, she grew into a person who could survive in the vampire world. I loved that Darren and Piper managed to have such a strong relationship in the midst of the chaos. I was a bit upset that at the end of the book everyone was finally back together but there wasn’t much of that time before the end of the book. As a send off book I had wanted to see more of their new lives.
This book picks up one year after the previous book. Piper and Darrell have been in hiding and the Durands have been running from the hunters. In that year, Piper has been taking self defense and weapons training so she was no longer a weak girl that needed to be protected and defended. This does have a bit of a twist at the end that will have your jaw on the floor.
This volume concentrates a bit more on Piper. She grows from a damsel in distress to a capable woman that can’t take care of herself. She shows that she is exactly what the Durands need in their lives. Do be sure to get Piper’s Punishment.

This is going to be one of those series where I just write one review and use it for each if the books.
From a plot and character view point, the series started out really strong and now after the last book I'm very dissapointed. Not in a book hangover type of way either. It felt like the author's spark for the series fizzled out/went in a different direction and she had to finish it up in order to do other projects in the same world.
All of the books have a large amount of typos and huge inconsistencies. There was so much missed potential that could have made these books epic.
The months has pass since Piper and Darren has been separated from the Durand brothers. Piper and Darren have not been idle though. I'm not going to provide any spoilers, but what an amazing adventure that has come to an end, and I am sad to see it end. Piper has grown so much, turn into a tough and such a bada$$! There's plenty of adventure, scenes that will make you laugh and shake your head. Don't forget the passion, there's plenty of that also! A definite must read! You won't regret! I can't wait to see what else Erin brings to us!
Loved this book and loved the way Pipers character went but felt that the ending was rushed - no scene with her and Marcus finally fully getting together, no make up scene with her other guys when they finally get back together and generally a lack of heat when compared to some of the other books - also felt that a fight scene or two with Piper's new skills wouldnt have gone a miss - it would have been good to see what her men had thought about the new Piper. That said the storey was still good and very enjoyable just not as fulfilling as i had hoped.
