Wonderful book. What I like about miss Bybee books is that she can write a sweet, old fashion romance. Everything Changes mix the romance with small town vibe.

The chemistry between Grace and Damion is just cute, swoony and old fashion. There is no descriptive sexual scenes. And yet I can feel the chemistry. The suspense aspect is enough to make the story flows.

Overall this is a enjoyable book.

What a fabulous book! I know it just a three-parter and this is Part Three, but I am so not ready for this series to end. I feel so close to all the characters. This book had me wishing I knew some martial arts! I really wanted to kick some butt. This author has a way of bringing you right into the story and wanting to live there.

Everything Changes is the final installment in the Creek Canyon Series and it's hard to explain how much I will miss the Hudson family.

Grace Hudson (sister to Collin & Matt from the two previous books in the series) has always had to prove herself as the only female Civil Engineer in her department and more importantly she needs to prove to herself that she can get past the trauma along with the dreams about being thisclose to the murderous ex of her soon to be sister-in-law Erin.

In steps the mysterious man from the shadows while she was taking a breather during her brother's wedding. She absolutely didn't expect to run into him again the next day at the coffee shop. Or for him to be the involved in the real estate development project that her snarky boss has FINALLY given her the lead on. . .but Dameon Locke is more than happy to be anywhere Grace is!

Grace works hard at keeping things business-like while Dameon tries to get her to break all the rules. I love how he slowly proves to her that he can be trusted and how he becomes her go-to guy above her dad and brothers. Now to get past the new accusations of preferential treatment, the
blackmail threat and on to their HEA!!

Catherine doesn't disappoint with this last book of the Creek Canyon series. As always, she leaves you wanting more! I highly recommend this book/series to all who love a good romance book(s).

This whole series has been really good! I got to listen to the audiobook this time and loved the narration. I'm also a big fan of who the author chose for Grace. Dameon was intriguing right from the start. I enjoyed his determination to get to know Grace even if he had to stalk her just a little bit. Who am I kidding? I loved the stalking! Great book!

Grace Hudson is the only women in a man's world in the department where she works as a civil engineer for the city. She knows she has to work harder and play by the rules, she gets along with her co-workers, but her boss is another thing altogether, so when she gets the lead on a new project, she does on the dynamic and good-looking Damon Locke to add to her trying not to break the rules.

From the first meeting Damon is very much attracted to Grace Hudson and she has to fight to keep things on a business level so her boss does not get wind of just how much she is attracted to Damon.

Grace keeps it to business until another project that was given to her at the last minute by her boss leads her into a nasty meeting with another developer who tries to intimidate and bribe her to do things his way, and she is so shook up, that the one person she can turn to outside of her family, is Damon Locke...

I loved how important Damon became to Grace in a short span of time. She did not want to turn to the males in her family, her two brother’s and her father, who when it comes to their sister and daughter, there was nothing that they would not do to right any wrongs against Grace. But Damon saw how Grace could hold her own and was her champion.

The chemistry between them just sizzles off the pages, but even with their growing attraction to one another Damon sees her a strong and independent woman fighting for her place in the world, and still be sexy and alluring when she wanted to be. When her world comes crashing down on her, Damon will move any obstacle in her way for the women who has become his world.

The Canyon Creek series has been a joy to read and I think this book just might be my favorite to the three-book series. I so wish there was going to be more. Catherine Bybee has given us a book kept me reading this book far into the night and as always when I read her books, I want to hurry to see what comes next, but I savor each page. Another great book and series by Catherine Bybee. As always, I can’t wait for the next book by this wonderful writer who is a must read for me.

3.5/5.0

Very nice, enjoyable romance with a touch of suspense.

I loved Grace in the two previous books of this series but had a harder time liking her in the beginning of this story. She was borderline rude and a little off-putting. But, as the story progressed, she warmed up to both Dameon and the reader (me). She, once again, became a favorite!

Now Dameon, on the other hand.... pure sigh-worthy yumminess! He is everything Grace needs and more. He doesn’t push but is always there. He is patient with her struggles and supportive in whatever way she needs. Perfect book boyfriend material!

I was a bit disappointed that the climax took a predictable and slightly cliché turn. Probably because I was all ready to dive into an epic and awesome (because Ms. Bybee could write it so well) battle against prejudice, discrimination and coercion in the workplace. Grace’s story was perfect for that and would have been riveting to explore... aw well.... still a nice escape in the easy and lovely style this author is so gifted at.

Everything Changes was everything I had hoped for in the final Creek Canyon book. Swoony, sensual romance. Laughs and tears. Even a touch of suspense. Catherine Bybee didn’t hold anything back, making sure her readers were entertained and left with a heart full of hope for these characters we’ve come to know and love.

While I hate to see the Creek Canyon trilogy end, Catherine Bybee sent these characters off on an especially high note. We got to catch up with the two previous couples: Parker & Colin and Erin & Matt, along with the rest of the Hudson family during the holidays and beyond. So much fun! And I was very happy that spunky Grace met her match in Dameon Locke (<—cool name for a hero, right?) who both challenged and cherished her... Read More

When I decided to read as many of the holiday books - that were already on my Kindle - as I could this December, Everything Changes was the book that taunted me the most from my to-be-read-next list. I loved loved loved My Way to You (Canyon Creek #1) and really liked Home to Me (Canyon Creek #2), so I was really looking forward to book three! But it ended up being a bit of a mixed bag for me.

Grace Hudson is a civil engineer for the city of Santa Clarita, CA. She’s the lone woman in her department in an industry that’s very much a man’s world to begin with. As such, she’s very aware of minding her Ps and Qs, making sure to always dot her Is and cross her Ts.

Dameon Locke owns a commercial development company whose next big project is in Santa Clarita. When he first sees Grace at the hotel where he’s staying while scoping out the town, then again the next morning at a coffee shop, he’s already on his way to smitten and thrilled to discover he’ll be working with her.

Grace is a bit gun-shy after her last attempt at dating went horribly wrong (you get that story during Home to Me), and with the potential conflict of interest in getting involved with someone doing business with the city, she does her best to keep Dameon at arm's length. But Dameon is charming and persistent, even when things go horribly wrong with another of Grace’s cases.

I actually wasn’t sure how I felt about the hero in this story, which was such a surprise after loving the ones in the first two books. Dameon comes on really strong - giving off some mild stalker vibes (which is a big issue in the history of this series), and even after Grace expresses concern about seeing him socially, he keeps pressing, seemingly ignoring that even the appearance of impropriety could potentially damage Grace’s job and even her career. And that didn’t sit right with me. Because that’s not even an unfair “woman in a man’s world” issue. It’s a matter of conflict of interest, and if you care about someone you protect them - even if it means putting your hormones on hold for a bit. Truth be told, I’m not sure I ever completely warmed up to Dameon.

However, true to Catherine Bybee form, the story did not go the way I thought it would- which I always appreciate. Dameon is a good guy who appreciates Grace for who she is, and there’s never any ridiculous conflicts between them - because they are mature people capable of having actual discussions about their feelings. This story had a bit of a suspense/action storyline going that I also thoroughly enjoyed - even if I do feel like some loose ends were left dangling. But the good guys win, the bad guys lose, and all is right in the world of Canyon Creek.

By the end, we’ve gotten an ample amount of time with all three couples from this series, which made me unreasonably happy. I thoroughly enjoyed this series and am unreasonably sad to see it end. The only thing that offers me any comfort at all is knowing another Catherine Bybee series is coming in a few short months - giving me something to look forward to next spring!

Will a chance encounter lead to more. Grace is done with men, she even works in a male domineering career as a civil engineer, where is she always having to prove herself. Dameon, is working on his new development project when he finds out that Grace is leading the project. Grace is not ready for a new relationship but Dameon will not give up. Soon Grace need Dameon on her side when her job and life are in danger.

This is a book that I had a hard time putting down. Loved these characters, great chemistry and banter. I love the relationship that Grace has with her family, a family that everyone would want. Now, Dameon's family had me laughing. A touch of suspense that is added, will keep you turning the pages.

This is the third book in the series, but can be read as a stand alone. It was great catching up with Grace's brothers. This is a series that I did not want to see end. I received an early copy of this book from the publisher for an honest review. I highly recommend!!

Catherine Bybee is one of my go to authors. Everything Changes is the final installment of the Canyon Creek Series.

This book centers on Grace Hudson & Dameon Locke. When they first meet, Grace thinks it's a chance encounter however they run into each other at a coffee shop. Again, she believes she won't see him again but low and behold, he's her new client! They both know its dangerous for them to get involve but there's definitely an attraction.

Loved how Grace and Dameon worked as a couple but also as individuals. It was nice seeing their family dynamics.

I really enjoyed all three books in this series. I can't wait to see what Bybee has instore next!

Grace and Dameon were a joy to read! Flirtatious banter and sexual tension for days! Loved these two! Definite must read!

Grace has been on shaky ground dating since her run in with Erin's ex. But Dameon is like a strong wind that blows in and she can't keep him out of her thoughts.
Dameon is enchanted with Grace. Unlike any other woman he has ever dated, she is strong and independent. And turns him down at every turn. But perseverance prevails.

With a conflict of interest , Grace must decide what to do. But a bully of a man and an accusation that is unfounded risk her job and reputation. But she won't sit quietly. And with Dameon by her side anything is possible. But dangerous times may be ahead. Will these two make it thru it all?

I received an ARC of Everything Changes by Catherine Bybee by being a member of the author's review team for an honest review. I can honestly say that I absolutely loved every page of this emotionally charged love story and that I could not put it down. Everything Changes was a bittersweet book for me knowing that it is the third and final book in the Creek Canyon series. I have loved each book in the series, but I think that Everything Changes is my favorite. I can truly say, that Everything Changes is an incredible story and I could not put it down. One of my favorite parts is how the title of the book is incorporated into the love story, with a simple quote from Erin, when she tells Grace “Everything changes, and then you meet the right guy who changes everything.” Catherine Bybee has once again proven that she is a master storyteller who writes amazing stories. Catherine writes about great characters, and loving families, but most of all she writes about strong women who make it back after devastating life altering events that have changed the consequences of their lives. I love her descriptions of the settings around Creek Canyon. Once again, I love how Catherine opens her heart in the Author's Note section of the book. I really enjoy how the book is told from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting the insight and feelings from the different characters viewpoint. Everything Changes is the story of Grace Hudson, the younger sister of Colin and Matt, and Dameon Locke, a real estate developer. Grace is a civil engineer for the city of Santa Clarita, who is dissatisfied with her job and her boss. Everything Changes begins with the wedding of Parker and Colin. Grace steps outside to enjoy a moment by herself and notices someone watching her. The following day, she runs into the same man at the coffee shop. Unexpectedly the mysterious man turns out to be Dameon Locke, her new client whose file she just received minutes before meeting him in person. Grace still lives with the uneasiness caused by her relationship Desmond Brandt, Grace’s estranged husband. Dameon is attracted to Grace at first sight, but Grace does not want to pursue a relationship with a client and Grace calls him a stalker because of the way Dameon was pursuing her. Eventually, Dameon and Grace spend more time together at the development site and begin dating. I love the lighter moments of their relationship and how protective Dameon is of Grace. Grace courageously decides to tell Dameon everything about Desmond. Dameon shares some of his own secrets with Grace. I love the plot twist with case of blackmail that a mobile home park owner has brought against Grace. I love how the Hudsons all rally around Grace during this time. Catherine Bybee describes in heart wrenching detail Grace's fear of abusive men and whether she will be able to trust her feelings to love again. I love Grace's transformation throughout the book. I loved Dameon’s conversation with Grace’s father, Emmitt, it was one of my favorite moments in the book. Everything Changes is filled with all the things that I have come to love and expect in all of Catherine Bybee's books. I especially love her bittersweet and poignant moments, and the surprise plot twists that filled this page turner and Everything Changes did not disappoint. I love how everything gets resolved and in much better ways than I had expected. I loved all the happily ever afters that happen in Everything Changes. I also enjoyed the lighter moments in the book, especially Grace and Dameon’s pedicures and the proposals, that help dispel some of the darkness. It was wonderful catching up Parker, Erin, and all the Hudsons, it felt like a family reunion. I loved the beautifully written love story that Catherine Bybee gave to Grace. I highly recommend Everything Changes a beautifully written love at first sight romantic love story. I received this ARC from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

In Everything Changes, book 3 in the Creek Canyon series by Catherine Bybee, we follow Grace Hudson, sister to Colin and Matt. While Grace is a strong woman, thriving in a career typically associated with the male gender, her encounter with Erin's ex has left their scars. While she's always been a confident woman, she continues to be pulled into dreams that leave her reeling.

When Damean spots her escaping for some fresh air during her brothers wedding, he is absolutely captivated and drawn to her. He considers it a huge win when he runs into her at her local coffee shop the next day.

Grace can't deny the pull she feels to Damean, but now she's the lead city engineer for the project his company is working on, and she's thrown into his company far more than she's comfortable with. But Damean works hard and starts to break down those walls she's erected, and the two continue to get closer to one another.

While Grace faces battles on her career front, she's faced with accusations that could ruin her budding relationship with Damean.

Damean is an amazing hero, and the perfect man to help Grace battle the demons of her past and the current ones she's facing at work. The two have crazy hot chemistry - I couldn't have imagined a more perfect fit.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. What a page turner! What an amazing end to Catherine's latest adventure! Grace and Dameon are such a fun couple. This family is a family you want to be apart of and the town is one you dream of growing up in. If you're looking for a book vacation with characters that are funny, witty and diversity that are looking to overcome their trauma. I can't describe how much I enjoyed Grace's story and even more this series.

Catherine Bybee is a go to author for me and I know that the books in the Creek Canyon series have been extra special due to the fact that Bybee lived in the area she was writing about for so many years. With Everything Changes, she gives us the final installment in this series, and it's another really wonderful story.

Grace Hudson has always known that in her line of work she would have to work harder because she's a woman. Is that the way it should be? Of course not, but she's smart, strong and knows how to handle herself in her job with the city where she is constantly dealing with not getting her due when she's so good at her job!

Dameon Locke is a real estate developer and he is looking to develop a large piece of property in the Creek Canyon area. He's normally a pretty hands off kind of developer in the sense that he gets things negotiated and then lets his team run with the project. However with this one, there is an intriguing part to it, or maybe it should be said an intriguing person and so he wants to be as hands on as possible.

When Grace and Dameon meet for the first time, it's a chance encounter and she figures she'll never see him again. Well, that turns out not to be true and she runs into him in the coffee shop. Once again figuring now she really won't see him again, she could be knocked over with a feather when he turns out to be her client. The two hit it off and there is a definite attraction, but they both know it's dangerous to get involved. But will that stop them? Or will it be other outside forces then end up bringing things between them to a halt?

Not only did I enjoy Grace and Dameon as individuals, I really liked how they worked as a couple. They were supportive, they worked together and they took things at their own pace. It was fantastic that we got to see so much of Grace's family and I laughed out loud several times with Dameon's brother and Mom!

Everything Changes is an apt title for the last book in this series, as it is true, everything does change, but I'm so glad we got to spend some quality time with these folks in Creek Canyon!

I love to read a book that leaves me smiling when I finish it and that is what “Everything Changes” did. I really enjoyed this series and hate to see it end. This book was especially enjoyable because we got to revisit all the characters from the other two books. Dameon and Grace were fantastic together! Grace was very untrusting of her choices in men thanks to Erin’s ex-husband from the second book in the series. I loved how Dameon was so patient and made a big effort to find out why. He also helped her immensely in getting her confidence back, both in love and at work. Being a woman in an office of men only, Grace was finally able to stand up for herself and show her boss she would not be pushed around any longer and taken for granted. I loved how Dameon made sure he got to know the entire family and became a part of that family. This was a great book that I thoroughly enjoyed reading and highly recommend this, and the other two books in the series. Can’t wait to see what Catherine Bybee comes out with next. I know I won’t be disappointed!!

Catherine Bybee is one of the very few authors on the must read list for me. I have most, if not all of her books. Everything Changes is book 3 in the Creek Canyon Series. This book is a lighter subject than book 2 in the series where she touches on domestic violence.
This book focuses on Grace Hudson, the little sister of Colin and Matt from the previous books, and starts off where book 2 ended.
I am so happy that Catherine decided to catch us up on the wonderful characters that we met in the previous books.
II would definitely recommend this book. I did receive an ARC for my honest review.
I can not wait to see what Catherine has in store for us next.

This book focuses on Grace Hudson, the little sister of Colin and Matt from the previous books and happens after Matt and Erin get their happy ending in book two.

Grace has gone off men for a while after the debacle with Desmond and is getting on with a job that she likes, but with a boss that treats her as unworthy as she is a woman in a mans job.

Dameon is taken by Grace from the moment that he first see's her, let alone meets her. He finds a way to keep seeing her and pushes his way into her life, even if once he has to hand his man card back for a pedicure.

Dameon and Grace just click together, the chemistry there almost instantly with Grace showing him a side of her that is not often on display, she also trusts him when she needs help, but does not want to get her family involved. Both end up helping each other in ways they never expected and Dameon does well in helping Grace with an issue that comes up at work.

Another brilliantly written book from Catherine Bybee that gives you all the feels where you just cannot help but root for the couple to get together and for the bad stuff to end and the good stuff to begin.

Thank you, Catherine, for a 3 book set for Canyon Creek. I very much enjoyed each book, which tells its own story, carrying through many of the same characters, and Santa Clarita valley. Living in LA all my life, I've known about Santa Clarita, without ever being there; now I know Santa Clarita.

A smoothly-written story, well-rounded characters, feeling how they feel, makes for excellent reading. Kudos!

Traumhaft. Packend. Leseliebe.
.
Leseerlebnis :

What a great book and equally as strong as the first two books in this series. I love how Catherine introduces characters in one book as a small bit character and then they eventually get their own book.

As the only girl in her family(two brothers and a doting dad) Grace is always being protected by her men. As a strong career woman in the male dominated field of engineering, Grace has to prove her strength and abilities to be taken seriously.

In Everyrhing Changes, we are introduced to Damean. He seems so mysterious. We first see him lurking in the shadows and Grace can feel his presence. He seems like maybe he is a stalker but we quickly are rooting for a Damean and Grace union.
Catherine adds in some mystery and suspense when Grace is forced to meet with a creepy, manipulative client late in the evening because her chauvinistic boss insists on it.

Damean comes to her rescue as the only male she feels safe going too(her dad and two brothers would kill for her and she doesn’t want that).

It is so fun to watch them fall in love on the pages. Catherine does such a good job of combining romance, intrigue, mystery and humor. As always, I am sad to see this series come to an end, but excited to know that there will always be another series around the corner.

What I love about Ms Bybee and her writing is that she never fails in crafting the best book possible. Honestly, she delivers every time and her story telling just seems to get better and better.

This story took readers, most especially this reader, on a very engaging, heartwarming journey filled with plenty of emotion. It balanced the further healing of those in the Hudson family after all that they’ve been through, splendid characters that are absolutely deserving of happy ever after and a wonderful plot that made this book a quick read for me.

Grace and Dameon are strong characters that are perfect for each other and definitely need each other. Grace has been through so much because of the past. So much fear because of her sister’s ex, which means trust doesn’t come easily for her. But there’s something about Dameon that screams trust. That makes her comfortable. So taking a chance on him might be a risk but one that’s worth taking.

Overall, this book was a great end to the Creek Canyon series and I can’t to read what Ms. Bybee releases next.

This book had the feeling of an old fashioned romance. Grace & Daemon had great chemistry. I greatly enjoyed all their teasing of each other.

I also loved Grace’s relationships with her family and who those relationships then extended to Daemon. Colin & Matt are just great guys and it shows, even when they aren’t the main characters.
