Finding Home #4

Already Home

Rate this book
By leaving Nashville, Harrison wanted to escape. What he found at home in Oklahoma was better than anything he’d ever had before. Harrison is happier with Greg and Jasper than he’s ever been. When Harrison can no longer avoid his ex and has to go back to Tennessee, he has Jasper and Greg by his side. But being back in Nashville also means facing Neil and Derek. The trio knew the trip would be challenging before they left Oklahoma, but will they manage to get through the trip unscathed?

Greg’s daughter told him to do something crazy. What she meant was for him to find a boyfriend. Well, he found two. Introducing his kids to not one but two men could be a tricky situation to navigate. Will Greg’s kids prove to be open-minded and accepting of their dad’s unconventional relationship?

Jasper still isn’t out, and now he’s dating two men. Jasper, Greg, and Harrison are committed to one another and making their relationship work long term and they know that means Jasper will have to come out to the rest of his family. The Scott family has always been accepting of anything thrown their way, but will Jasper’s relationship with Greg and Harrison be the one thing the rest of the Scotts can’t handle?

As tempers flare and feelings are hurt, can Jasper, Greg, and Harrison navigate the bumps in the road? Or will the reactions of friends and family be too much for the threesome to handle?

Already Home is a 60k word novel with a HEA and has many appearances from the Scott family who are known to overshare-- a LOT. age play/ABDL, Daddy/boy, and other adult themes are mentioned within. This is the last book in the Finding Home Series.

The last two books were my favorites of this series. I loved seeing Jasper come out his shell around his men. I actually teared up a time or two because of Jasper’s emotions. I really like Greg and Harrison, but Jasper was the reason I loved these books. I was ready to slap his family a few times in the story. They were so sanctimonious and hypocritical. 😒

Overall, this is a pretty low angst series that I’m glad I decided to read. It was a nice surprise.

Only 25% in and it’s a struggle. Too many coincidences. Too many family members who live across the country turning up every other day and forcing drama.

This series is easy to read and quite enjoyable but it's also kinda boring. All the mcs are nice and likeable but they also all come across as much younger and immature than their stated ages. There are a lot of long mushy talks and it's all a bit sickly sweet. Overall these books are good time killers but nothing exciting!

I am so sorry to see this series end but this book was the perfect way. It pulled at my heartstrings from the very beginning, I swear I had tears in my eye throughout most of the story. This starts right where the last book left off and is mostly about Jasper coming out but also the family coming back together even stronger than ever.

I know some have said that the coming out was repetitive but I think that is more realistic, how often will you have everyone in the room at one time and get it all out then. However, I think the individual conversations were important to the brothers’ reconnecting again because it gave Jasper the opportunity to have individual conversations with them. I think the biggest surprise was Jasper’s dad, Brice, all the kids have been wary of his reactions and it seems is really is just as accepting as the others but he just worries for his family like any good dad would.

Once again my heart went out to all of these characters. I was glad of the easy acceptance of Greg’s kids because it helped to offset the drama of the Scott family. Having to hear how hurt Jasper was even more in depth than the last book was so heartbreaking and I know it killed him having to explain multiple times but helped him get it off his chest. I loved the unending support of Harrison and Greg and also how Jasper is willing to give up everything for them. I loved that they all continue to come together to support each other in their times of need or in celebration. I will miss these guys but hopefully Carly will write short stories about them every once in a while.

I received an ARC of this book and am giving an honest review.

I'm not crying, you are

Omfg....Jasper, my sweet Jasper you made cry and want to hug you, never letting go. Thank you Greg and Harrison for being there to give Jasper all the love he needed. Jasper, Greg, and Harrison continue to grow in their relationship and slowly let the outside world in. I love Derek and Ty but hated how they were with Jasper. Jasper just wanted to be part of the family and not feel alone. Well he found plenty of love and courage from his men to confront his family. And the emotional conversations just brought me to tears. This story has it all...love, angst, laughter and healing. And the sexy times were HOT.
This is the conclusion of the Finding Home series and it's so sad to say good bye to the Scott family. Hopefully Ms. Marie will let's us keep in touch with them.

I love the continuation of the story of these three men. It was already in a good place at the end of the previous book but this one made is so much more. I love some of the surprises that pop up especially in reaction to their news. I love the care and feelings that they have for each other.
I listened to the audio version and it was well done and very enjoyable.

This book continues from where book 3 Close To Home ended .
The books need to be read in order to fully understand the family dynamics.

Boy oh boy is Jasper in trouble !!!

How is Jasper going to explain the state of affairs that is his love life?
Will his family believe his admissions of his sexuality?
At the age of 35 his life has changed beyond his wildest dreams,
his heart is full, he has found his home at last.

His childhood crush , who is also Derek's best friend.
The very sexy silver fox , who was Declan's superior.
An ex girlfriend, a fully working ranch and a father that is close minded.
How can Jasper, Greg and Harrison juggle all of those problems
and make their relationship work? It sure won't be easy.

There are some pretty emotional moments in this book.
Not only is Jasper trying to come to terms with his life,
he is also struggling with the relationship with his brothers.
There is a lot of soul searching, many heart breaking confessions,
and much needed acceptance by each and every person in his life.
l'm not ashamed to say that l shed a few tears along the way too.

l also need to know if the kinky books that Harrison keeps reading are by Carly Marie?

Another excellent book in this very entertaining series.
Loved it.

Jasper, Harrison, and Greg are back, in this absolutely amazing conclusion. Jasper's finally found his men, and he's happy. The one thing he doesn't know how to do is tell his family about his new guys, or that he's been hiding his bisexuality for years.

Both of his brothers have been out for so long, and gotten so much care and acceptance from their mother, that Jasper isn't sure how to go about coming out and being taken seriously, especially after years of being mocked for being a vanilla stick-in-the-mud.

This book is lovely and emotional, it really shows the emotional pain Jasper's been repressing, how out of touch and unloved his brothers apathy made him feel. You might want some tissues. (Yes, it's an hea!)

This was a great finale. Brice was an unexpected and delightful foil for Jasper's situation. I'll be re-reading these books.

This book had me all in my feelings. It's been a while since I've cried this much in a book. I cried when Jasper and Derek had their talk, when Jasper thought Derek might not feel comfortable being little around him, when Ty and Jasper's mom found out, stuff with Jasper's dad. Seriously, this was a great book. I'm not going to lie, the age play with Derek was a little intense for me. Then we had the lingerie with Ty. I'm glad I stuck the series out because Jasper's story was by far my absolute favorite. And seeing all the family come together, as well as friends, it was really perfect.

So this one is definitely better than the first one about these three, but I still maintain that it could've been one book vs two. Anyway, Jasper's bisexuality was handled a lot better in this one and didn't feel so erasing. I also felt so hard for Jasper regarding his family. I loved that this one focused mainly on Jasper's coming out and healing his relationships with his brothers and family. Jasper is the oldest of 3 brothers and despite knowing he wasn't straight as a teenager, he is the last to come out. His younger brothers are super close to each other, both incredibly open about their sex lives and kinks, and oh yeah, super fucking queer. Derek and Ty's relationship together and their combined ones with Jasper gave me all the feelings and made my heart hurt. As the left out sibling, I just really connected with Jasper in this one and it was super emotional. As a whole I did like this one a lot and seeing Greg, Harrison and Jasper all sort through Jasper's family drama as a unit was great.

rep: poly relationship, 2 gay MCs, bisexual MC. mention of daddy/little kink in secondary character

Audiobook Review

And here we are at the last full book of the series. I will miss Jasper, Greg, and Harrison.

This one was basically a continuation of the previous book as the new triad started telling everyone that they were together and two of them wrapping up their lives in other states.

I absolutely loved these three.

I also totally forgot that Harrison read mpreg and puppy play books. That was so cute.

The last short story is not in audio, but I wish it were. There is also a valentine's story set between books one and two that does not have audio, read both, they are great.

Bolton did a much better job with the different voices and I enjoyed their narration.

Now onward to the Undisclosed series in audio.

Wonderful story...

I love Jasper, Greg, and Harrison so very much. They deserved another story based on them. I'm still not happy with the brothers though.

Having found each other in Close to Home, Jasper, Harrison and Greg spend this book cementing their relationship, coming out as a thruple, and sorting out their lives. Jasper must tell his parents, gay brothers, and their partners and attempt rapprochement over the way he has been treated. Harrison must extract his possessions from his cheating ex-partner and Greg must tell his children. While this was as sweet as previous books, there is more focus on dialogue, previous hurt feelings, and tying off the series - with multiple characters and referrals to previous plots, it can’t really be enjoyed as a stand-alone book. 🎧 Bolton Hill has narrated this series well: he has a lovely deep voice, varied character voices, emotional depth, and good pacing.

4.5* Already Home is the fourth and final book in the Finding Homes series by Carly Marie. It needs to be read in order as this book is a continuation of book 3 featuring Jasper, Harrison, and Greg. Great ending to this series, and I would definitely recommend it! There will be spoilers to previous books in this review.

Jasper, Harrison, and Greg are going strong but now need to figure out how to tell everyone that they're in a committed relationship with each other and how their lives are going to look going forward.

I loved how incredibly realistic and emotional each of the scenes with the family members were - each ended on a positive note eventually (being an HEA story and all), but seriously all of the feels in this one! And I loved loved loved the scene with Mr. Scott!

I loved reading this series, but the last two book was the best! Hey- you know menage is my weakness LOL - but really, this two book was so good! Carly Marie outdid herself! Every book she writes just gets better and better!

I loved it, and i'm gonna really miss the Scott family and their whole family.

Fine ending

Didn't necessarily enjoy this one as much of the others in the series, mostly as it involved the three guys revealing their relationship to their various friends and family, which is essentially the same conversation over and over (which while realistic, could have been abridged). There was one twist that I didn't see coming which was particularly gratifying and made me smile.

Jasper,Greg and Harrison’s relationship really develops in this conclusion to the series. Jasper’s family finally come to realize how isolated they made Jasper feel. Many things are worked out. It was a wonderful way for the story to conclude.

This was my favorite book of the series.

It will give you all the feels!

Already Home is the last book in the Finding Home series, and the second part to Jasper, Harrison, and Greg’s love story. This series is best read in order, but at least read book 3 before reading this book, otherwise some of the drama won’t make sense.

Jasper, Harrison, and Greg are an established throuple who are in love and finally happy. It’s not what any of them envisioned for their lives, but now that this is their reality, the thought of not being together is unfathomable. However, now they have to tell everyone, which is difficult when everyone already has a firm image of who you are in their head. As you can guess, there was a lot of drama and emotions in this book, and I teared up a few times with Jasper while he confronted his family. I really liked the relationship between Jasper, Harrison, and Greg – it kept growing stronger and stronger throughout the book while they all supported each other through different bumps and obstacles. The love between these three men was tangible and tender, and I loved all the intimate moments between them, from the hot and steamy sex to the sweet and adorable cuddles.

I’m sad to see this series end, but I think as the last book in the series, Already Home ties up all the loose ends and gives us a happy ending for both Jasper and his men, as well as everyone else in the Scott family.

The audiobook was narrated by Bolton Hill who had a wonderful voice. This is the first book I’ve herd him narrated and I was impressed. He embodied all the characters perfectly and kept their voices distinct and consistent throughout the book. There were a lot of characters Bolton had to narrate and he juggled them all spectacularly. The audiobook production was well done and without glitches or errors. I thoroughly enjoyed myself listening to this book.

A continuation of the previous book, in this one, Jasper has accepted the love of his men, Greg and Harrison, and all three need to start telling family and friends that they are together. For Greg, his accepting kids and his lifelong friend Cody are fully on board fairly quickly. For Harrison, his issues surround his cheating ex who wants to keep their shared house. Having his men go with him to confront the man is a good move and they reach a resolution with a little help from Sheriff Cord, Derek's daddy who makes a well-placed phone call to local law enforcement.

But for Jasper, there are so many hurdles to happiness: reaching out to his brothers, each of whom has their own story in the series and each of whom have been estranged, thinking Jasper couldn't know what they've been through. But it's Jasper's happy go lucky mother who has the worst reaction and his "grumpy" father who has the best. The Scott family is full of surprises and Jasper goes on an emotional roller coaster ride. But through it all, his men stand by him and we get to see a much more well-rounded Jasper, and we get a very clear look at his history and explanations for past behaviors.

I really enjoyed his story and the whole series, but especially this one. In between all the angst, there's plenty of heat as this throuple is fairly new together so there's no keeping hands off. :D Carly Marie does a great job in balancing the heat with the angst and I'm so happy to say that Jasper was much more lovable in this one.

I've previously read the last book in the series but I'm going back to reread now that I know more about all the characters. I'm finding it hard to let go, Definitely recommended.

Now that Jasper, Harrison and Greg have found each other, they need to start to tell their family and friends about their relationship. Wow - this was an emotional read and you will cry at several points during this story. Harrison's ex was certainly a piece of work and Jasper's family were self-centred and insensitive. But at the centre of all of that, the relationship between Jasper, Harrison and Greg was solid and reinforced such that they were happy together. This really was a book about family, love and what that means to each of these men. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MMM story with mature content.

This was Jasper's story. I was always taken aback by the way this wonderful family of accepting parents and other gay siblings, had treated Jasper. Jasper was like the "red-headed stepchild"...put him in the barn, have him manage the farm, but never treat him like one of the other sons. Jasper never was able to tell his family that he was bisexual. He knew even if he did, they wouldn't have believed him. Even inviting him to go to the Stick Pony, a gay bar, with them on night was a bit on the "mean" side. It backfired big time on them though because this is where Jasper meets not one...but two men, Greg and Harrison, that become the "loves of his life". We had met Harrison in the first three books. He was Derek's best friend and a member of the band. I was happy to see that his three brothers did have the good graces to come and talk to him and apologize for their years of bad behavior. It was also good to see his dad come around to being a better father and not so judgmental. Jasper was his oldest son, but he treated him like slave labor. I hated to see this series end...I'll miss all the wonderful, warm, sweet guys...but I own all the books so I can revisit, and I will. There is a Christmas book, Home for Christmas, that is part of this series with a story for each couple.

I do not understand why this novel has gotten so many highly positive reviews: it is deeply flawed.
We have Jasper, whose family thinks he's straight when he is actually bi, and his two boyfriends (a ménage à trois / throuple). So, they have to come out to all sorts of family and friends.

So, the plot, such as there is one, is the following:
Two or all three of the lovers have sex.
Then they tell someone that Jasper is really bi.
They're all three together in ménage à trois.
In the case of Jasper's family, there is also much to be said about how poorly they have treated him, which is why he didn't come out until he was 35.

Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. Nothing else of any great consequence happens. On top of all of that, there is a MAJOR contradiction between this book and the first volume of the series.

While the other novels in this series are interesting, even good, this one is a failure.

Sunday’s Story Spotlight

Just finished Already Home, and it left me feeling full in a way I didn’t expect. It’s slow and soft, but every beat feels intentional. The romance builds in layers—trust, comfort, care—and every piece fits.

There’s something really grounding about the way this story handles an MMM relationship. It’s not about dramatics or spectacle—it’s about mutual understanding, about choosing love even when it’s messy, even when it scares you. I appreciated how deeply human it felt, and how safe it made that kind of vulnerability seem.

This is one I’ll be thinking about for a while.

"Close to Home" and "Already Home"
Books 3 and 4 in the Finding Home series are closely linked and I read them together so I will review together.
This author is new to me and I randomly chose this book looking for an MMM book.
I absolutely loved these 2 books. They are well written. The characters are well developed, with very different characteristics and challenges. The romance and love story is beautiful, the chemistry is palpable and the sex scenes were super hot. I actually shed tears too!
Now I am backtracking and reading the first books of the series j had skipped.
I will definitely be reading more from this author.

This could have been four stars but i hated that the main characters didn't get to come out on their own terms twice(!) bc people didn't know how to knock and walked in on them and the way the dad turned out to be not at all like everyone thought he was (bc apparently he didn't think to let anyone in on the fact that he changed his mind about queer people in the ten years since he reacted badly)
Also i have no desire to read the first two books in the series bc while apparently Jasper comes off as an asshole in those his two brothers came off as assholes in this book so I don't want to know more about them.
