The 19th installment in the hit 'Living Among Bigfoot' series. After the residents discuss the disturbing reality that they are in cohabitation with the hominids, Mason attempts to reassure everyone that things are under control. Unfortunately, a secret discovery reveals that an attack may indeed be unavoidable. What, if anything, can Tom do to save the situation? Living Among Bigfoot is a series based on Tom's multiple encounters with the Bigfoot species.
This series makes for a good and exciting story. However, the last five books veer so far from the plausible that any thought this might be an entirely true story left me volumes ago. The author didn't have to continue to assert the truthfulness of the volumes because the story holds up on its own without that. Consequently, I find the "A True Story" insistence to be supremely irritating. I also feel the last two books, Volumes 19 & 20, totally "jumped the shark."
I also dislike that the author resorted to the "monsterfication" of the Sasquatch species. There is no evidence that the species has ever harmed humans. Such assertions just contribute to mis-information about Cryptids and feed the overall trigger happiness of so many Americans.
It's no wonder why the folks of Midwood were being harassed by the strange lurking huminids! Mason had one of their young in captivity!! I am so frustrated and angry right now; how could Mason not realize how he put everyone in danger by trying to conceal this little tidbit of information from everyone. If Sonny kills the little one in front of the gathering crowd it will definitely "divide" the village folk into some sort of reaction/ action!! Can't wait to see what will happen next!! One month is a long time to wait!!
The book is written like a graphic novel, if it weren't for the fact that I'm interested in the subject of sasquatch and the first part of the series was abit better, I would not be reading this now. The books have become less than believable much closer to pure fantasy. The books are now as short as chapters. Will I continue to read it? Yes is my answer, Why? Because I want to see how it ends. Also it helps that as a prime member, the series is free Tom Lyons wrap it up.
After the meeting began in the last chapter it continues in this exciting edition. Things have truly taken an unusual turn. More residents are sharing their experiences and it is clear that young Mason is in over his head. He decides to hold a gala celebration, then OMG?! You will have to read to find out, but I did not see this coming. I can't wait for the next edition.
I have read the entire series. Tom’s writing style shows he isn’t stupid, he is very creative. I say that because though he claims these events are true but names have been changed to protect the innocent I do question where they are or not. Tom’s books are a page turner for me and my wife enjoyed them as well.
Again left us in suspense oh my goodness that poor baby, no wonder they are after him so would I be if he stole my child. Can't wait for the next book a hole month it's a long while.
