Finished book 1!
Omega Teacher's Secret: 🌟🌟🌟
So, okay, I really did like this book, however, it was basically book 1 all over again. I was hoping for slightly different outcomes. When I realized this at the beginning, That it was heading in a very similar direction, I was hoping for that something else which is why I was disappointed it didn't. So, over all not bad if this is where you're starting but if you're reading back to back as I am with these box sets, you will encounter this so be prepared.
Still, I really liked it. I am happy Ian and Brad are happy at last.

Finished book 2!
Omega Teacher's Secret

Let me preface this review by saying that if you don't appreciate trope based, i.e. formulaic writing, then Anna Winehart's books might not be your thing. All of them are hurt/comfort omegaverse novels, and most of them include a second trope as well. This digital box set contains books 5-8 in the Men of Meadowfall series.

5. "Omega Teacher's Secret: Brad seeks out his old flame... only to discover that Professor Ian McMillan has a daughter now - a baby girl with Brad's eyes."

4.5 stars: This story is well written with good character development. Once again, we are presented with the university's bias against omegas, especially when one forms a relationship with a student, which might be immoral but isn't officially illegal. Anyway, this story also deals with the issue of self harm through cutting, and while I think Ian should have seen a therapist about his mental health, I thought the author handled the topic well.

6. "Stepbrother's Secret: Ollie's music shop is going out of business - all because of the new store in town. Turns out, the Total Sounds manager... is Ollie's stepbrother."

4 stars: This story was well written and had good character development. I often find the stepbrother trope to be interesting, and this story didn't disappoint me at all.

7. "The Pretense: Levi needs a stand-in boyfriend to convince his Gran that he's in a relationship. Who better to ask than his firefighter ex, Cole? (Tissue warning, comes with a HEA!)"

5 stars: This story was so good. It was well written and had great character development. Levi's grief and insecurities portrayed so well. It was almost heartbreaking to read about how much he wanted to please his grandma while believing that he was destined to fail.

8. "His Two Alphas: Scarred and crippled, Professor Micah Davis dreams of an alpha to complete his life. Unbeknownst to Micah, Spike has been in love with him for years. And Spike's stepbrother, Kai - Kai will do anything for Spike's happiness. Even if his heart gets tangled in the process."

4 stars: This story was well written and had good character development. While polyamory isn't one of my favorite things to read about, I can't deny that stories like this one are sexy, and I can often even believe that there's love between them and not just sex, which was the case for this story. Also, this story was when we finally deal with the university's bias against omegas, especially when one forms a relationship with a student, which might be immoral but isn't illegal. In fact, in this story, the government confirms that such relationships are fully legal.

8.5 "Subordi-Mate: Daniel spends a night with a stranger... only to discover that the stranger is his boss. And that he's now pregnant with his boss's baby."

3 stars: This was such a strange, unbelievable story. And since it's an omegaverse story, which are unbelievable in the first place, that's saying something. That said, it was a well written and entertaining story.

Anna Wineheart's contemporary omegaverse are pretty formulaic, but somehow she STILL makes me cry every time.

There is always a moment where MC1 is like, "I'm so bad for him, he deserves someone way better than me, I KNOW, I'll drive him away by preying on his largest insecurity!"

But then stuff happens and the truth is revealed and everything works out, and then they have a birth scene, in which the alpha will growl at the midwife every time, and the Omega will threaten the alpha's balls every time, and then baby is born and all the cuddles and scent marking and damn, why do I love these books so much.

Solid 4.5/5 for 🔥 levels. Spicy omegaverse FTW!

Continuation of an excellent series. Ian and Brad was a great story, a bit tragic, but sweet. Olivier and Eric was good, a bit sad but Anna kept it good. With Levi and Cole, great story. Funniest epilogue, EVER! Micah and Spike was excellent. Micah is an amazing Graceful man and deserves every happiness. This was an amazing box set. All the couples has tall challenges to overcome and the couples stepped up, met them and conquered them. Well done!

Love this author

Loved this book set. I have to say a lot more angsty and dramatic that all the other books! But nevertheless still perfect! I laughed , I cried, and it was super hawt! All books have heaps of heat in them!

Did not finish.

Every story is just a little different to the last. So predictable. Gets boring quickly. Couldn't finish.
