This book was cutest, sweetest and hottest. No surprises since Jenika Snow's books range between sweet intensity and hotness.

Izzy and her best friend are on a mini vacation for the weekend. She meets Tommy who is also on a weekend get-away with his friend at a nightclub. Both of them are instantly attracted to each other. Unfortunately they lose each other in the crowd. Izzy and Tommy meet each other coincidently the next day. A little misunderstanding later Izzy and Tommy have a dinner date and everything changes for them.

This book had hot romantic story with a happy epilogue. It's a novella length book with a cozy plotline. Only thing I didn't like was the name of the hero. "Tommy" for a giant good looking hero?

Insta lust/love quick read

Izzy’s on a mini vacation with her best friend when she goes clubbing I know this is a tall, dark, handsome man, who looks at her butt. They have a sensual dance and she realizes that she wants him.

Tommy hasn’t been with a woman in years, and he doesn’t understand how some people can’t sleep around. Even though he’s at the club with his buddy, it’s not his scene. As soon as he and Izzy dance, Sparks fly, and he wants more of her.

There’s a misunderstanding, but it luckily gets resolved quickly. They get to know each other (he’s in construction and she’s a librarian). We get one huuuuuge smexxxy scene.

Dear Lord. Tommy has a DUUUUURTY mouth!!! 🥵🔥 and he has lots of stamina 😅😉💦. A big part of the book is them getting it on lol. But I wasn’t complaining. I just finished a fabulous slow-burn, so this was such a nice steamy palette cleanser.

I enjoyed it!

Mí humilde opinión:

Izzy y su amiga Nadine planearon un fin de semana de chicas. El viaje a Toronto tenía como objetivo beber, ir de fiesta y dejar atrás la realidad y las responsabilidades por un par de días.

Izzy es una bibliotecaria, una chica tímida que nunca salía de su zona de confort pero eso no la iba a detener.

El fin de semana apoyará a su amiga que esta tratando de superar a su ex infiel.

Entonces mientras Izzy está en el bar sus ojos se encuentran con los del Señor Oscuro y Sexy...

Tommy estaba en un club nocturno con su amigo y su nueva conquista deseando haberse quedado en casa.

Esa en realidad no era su escena, el lugar era ruidoso con cuerpos sudorosos restregándose por doquier, pero pensó que aceptar pasar la noche en la ciudad no era una mala idea después de una semana de trabajo agotador en la obra. Al parecer no fue una buena idea hasta que sus ojos la ven...

No creía en el destino pero conocer a una mujer que lo atrajo como ninguna otra lo ha hecho antes, perderla en la pista de baile y luego volver a encontrarse con ella, lo ha hecho un creyente.

Izzy es para él y va a mantenerla para siempre.




Este librito fue un rápido insta-love con mucho calor incluido como suele poner JS a sus historias.

No fue de mis preferidos pero le doy un visto bueno. ¡Qué portada más sexy! Tenía que mencionarlo.

Lo que gustó de la historia fue el tema del destino jugando cuando los protagonistas se separan y vuelven a juntarse. Cuáles eran las probabilidades de que sucediera luego de un encuentro casual en un club nocturno donde bailan y ni siquiera se presentan? Izzy y Tommy son un fuego juntos. Me pareció bien también que las cosas no fueran tan apresuradas entre ellos con el sexo, hubo como un proceso de lujuria hacía el amor.

Me gustó Tommy, era el alfa posesivo y lleno de necesidad pero tan lindo con Izzy que la volvía loca con la charla sucia. Aunque Izzy por otro lado no estuvo mal pero me hubiera gustado que no fuera tan pasiva.

Sin dramas y angustias, una pequeña historia insta divertida y con mucho picante para esas tardes aburridas.

Story is completely safe and free of any kind of abuse, cheating, no ow/om drama and no others after meeting. Both Hero and Heroine have been celibate for several years. No mention of previous partners other than in an abstract sense

I can drool over the cover cuz lord that a hot cover. This was a novella filled with yummy steam and delicious alpha male.

Izzy and her friend are on a mini girls vacation celebrating her friends recent "I dump my bf" so they are going out partying and just enjoy life. Where Izzy spots a tall dark and handsome Tommy with his friend and boy shes already mesmerized by him. After a night of dirty dancing they are seperated. Drunk and giggly the girls overhear a couple next door having sex. Laughing about it. Until the next morning when she spots the man she was dancing with walk out shes hurt. BUT it was a misunderstanding when his buddy and his date walk out after.

Once the misunderstanding is cleared up these two are hawt and heavy for one another.

No ow/om drama, no cheating, slight secondary chara, sexy times, no virgins no manwhore celebite for years

If you're looking for a short read, like 100 pages or less, something that's spicy but with a sweet HEA, then this'll do it!

Was the writing great? Not really. Was the spice good? Sure, but I've read better. Am I fan of insta-lust? Typically no, but when you have less than 100 pages to fit a romance plot, insta-lust is almost a given 😋 But if you have that smutty itch and want a book that can be knocked out in an hour or two, go for it!

Dear sweet lord how I needed this book, I was hoping for hot... steamy.... melt your kindle and boy did this lady deliver it.

Tommy (god I love him so much I could weep) hot, dirty talking alpha meets the girls of his dreams when he’s not even looking, and then loses her.

Izzy the ultimate good girl trying to help her heartbroken friend meets a gorgeous dark brooding man then loses him.

I LOVED THIS BOOK I can’t say it enough, I spent a much needed afternoon loving my way through it, if you’ve never read anything by this author I can’t think of a better place to start than with this one.

Another great book from Ms. Snow. Loved Izzy and Tommy. They were both in Toronto on a break from their lives and while at a bar, they saw each other and that was all it takes. The chemistry and attraction that was between them was so intense. This book was so good. You will read it one sitting and you won’t want it to end. As with each book from Ms. Snow, you will fall in love with the characters. Highly recommend it.

I enjoyed this short read romance. Izzy and Thomas' relationship gets off to a fast and furious start with an avalanche of instant emotion and attraction. The plot is fun, the chemistry intense and the heat sizzling. A little bit of drama adds some extra flavor to the story line. An all around great book. This is my independent, impartial review.

Such a good story. When I want to read a short, instalove story, I can always count on Jenika Snow. Her latest was short but packed with emotions!!!! Who wouldn't want a Tommy in their life? I like that they are a bit older instead of in their early 20's. Great story and I highly recommend it!

Girls weekend to love

Enjoyable, insta-lust to love story. There were a few word choice issues I didn't care for, but that's me personally. I didn't understand the tag-line "I licked it, it's mine" because that never appeared within the story, and I expected it since it was on the cover and twice in the synopsis. The ending seemed kind of abrupt, and there was an epilogue to tie everything up in a nice bow. There wasn't really a climax to the story. I kind of felt sorry for the best friend since the purpose of the weekend was to cheer her up, and she was alone the whole time.

It's quick, It's dirty and Sweet! Jenika Snow brings the heat in this alpha story like she always does!
Meet Izzy & Tommy and let the fireworks explode! Izzy is celebrating with her girls at a night club, and catches the attention of Tommy. They share a intimate dance and she runs off and hope to never see him again even though she can feel a connection with him. Fast forward....she runs into him the next morning since they are both staying at the same hotel and they get to know each other over breakfast and dinner. Since they don't want the evening to end...you can imagine what happens next! It's a quick read and have the steamy scenes you look forward in a book! Now buy the book and you won't be disappointed! If the story had more dept, I would give it a solid 5 stars, but it's an Insta-Romance! So just enjoy!

Tommy and Izzy are a cute, smexy couple in Jenika Snow's Marked. I love the tag line - I licked it so it's mine LOL. Izzy is at a nightclub, which is totally not her scene, with a friend. She is older than most of the patrons and dressed on the more comfortable side, but when she locks eyes with Tommy she is struck by him.

Tommy sees Izzy and he is a man who knows what he wants - Izzy. They spend time together and are separated but run into each other the next day. There is a misunderstanding but once it's cleared up Tommy and Izzy are on - like really on. Hot, sexy times abound.

I liked this novella with slightly more mature characters. Not too much drama and angst, no cheating, just two people who are hot for each other and want to be together. The cover is super hot, too!

First things first; I love the cover of this book!
This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. When Izzy’s best friend goes through a break up, Izzy takes her on a girl’s trip. Tommy isn’t in the mood for a nightclub but when he see’s izzy, he is glad he is in the same place as her.
The chemistry between Tommy and Izzy is clear to see and I liked them together. I thought that they made a cute couple.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.

The tag line says it all: I liked it so it's mine! LOL. This was a super fact and easy to enjoy story for those who live insta love reads. The characters met and fell in love then bam the hot scenes started. I just love these stories as it really heats up my life for a few.

I loved the main characters here, the alpha male was perfect. His instant want, need and desire was perfect for the story and his love. The way these two meet is spicy and fun! Reminds me of a certain movie. The author did a great job of really packing this story with all the necessary wants and desires. Now, where can I get a man like this? It’s closer than you think
Fast paced and intense, this book is a whirlwind you won’t want to miss. The author is such a great writer of romance. She develops these amazingly alpha males and pares them with the perfect woman before setting them free to see where they go. I love the way these two had this instant connection and not even distance will keep them apart. This is another win for the author and I can’t wait to see where she takes us next.

This is a sexy short read. Izzy and Tommy weren't looking for love when they met but the sparks were flying. These two couldn't keep their hands off each other. They met while on a quick getaway and the attraction was unbelievable. He was sexy, tall, alpha and when he smiled she melted. Izzy was gorgeous. The minute these two saw each other they knew it was something special.
I really enjoyed this book. It was well written, sexy and hot.
