The book is a story about a lady;Tamsil Tayantsi whose late father Tayantsi had promised to seek a dream called September- a dream that comes true during harvesting after all the struggles of digging, weeding and a lot of waiting.She meets with an African-American Wayne Brenston who also was given a dream by the parents that one day they would return back to Africa their MOTHERLAND.He is to seek the burial place of their ancestors and place a gold weight which he had been given. She falls in love with him and they later got married.

It is a very good book i have read so far,it`s about a girl called Tamsil who lived with her mom after the death of her father,both were being oppressed by their father`s friend Papa sabah.Tamsil had a dream of singing and she wanted to be a famous singer in her village of Kibitei,but as all dreams that we chase in life has hardship in fulfilling them,she also went through a lot to attain the goal she wanted(singing).then she happen to meet Wayne,who came to their village with Papa sabah`s son Tai.Wayne also came to the village for reason....to find his ancestors for he believed that he came from Africa.Wayne ask Tamsil to help him to find where the graves of the ancestors are,and he will pay for the land that she and her mom owe to Papa sabah in return,then they agree but during their journey,Tamsil got the dream she was looking for,because Tai owned a great recording company,and then they fall in love.So at the end she got her dream her father named a (DEAM CALLED SEPTEMBER).

AHHH!

Pacesetters!!

African!!!

Trying to get into more and more African books and I came across this!

The chatacters are Tamsil, Wayne, Tai and Ofeibea. Bremmah and Labina.

The story prologue starts off with a war result whereby Tamsil's father dies.

Tamsil's father always taught her to seek A dream called september.
