Putting Down Roots
This resort is nothing like the brochure said. Sanja booked a weekend at the Datura Inn to recharge and work on her presentation to the Board. The people seemed nice but when she looked at them out of the corner of her eye, something was off. Things quickly spiral out of control when Sanja and the other guests finds themselves drugged and bound in a living nightmare. Bones does good horror. Not thrillers, not Stephen King long stories with a creepy twist, but balls out horror.
Not for the squeamish. At all.
This tale (about 100p (1039 locations on a kindle)) is strange, weird, and horrific, and well worth the read. I did not see that ending coming and it took me a few seconds to realize what was going on! Excellent! I love an ending like that.
