A collection of Gourmet Traveller’s best travel photography.
For the first time, Gourmet Traveller has compiled a collection of its most dazzling travel photography. Visit some of the world’s most beautiful and exotic places through the lenses of the world’s finest photographers. The book traverses the globe making stops along the banks of the Yangzi River, on the streets of Cuba and at the grand turquoise minarets of Uzbekistan.
Immerse yourself in the architecture, the food and the culture of the places you’ve been to and the ones you long to visit. A visual feast on every page.
The book includes work from John Laurie, Julian Kingma, Sharyn Cairns, Chris Chen and more.
There are some stunning photos in this coffee table book, and some less so. I enjoyed visualising far off places, some off the beaten track. But there is something lacking, and overall there isn't much depth to the content. A tiny thing like having to flick pages back and forth to read each photograph's description really annoyed me.
