I’ve lived in total darkness for as long as I can remember. A dangerous place where pain, love, not even remorse was felt. My world was filled with blood and death until the day I met Karen. Little by little she showed me the way out of that darkness, into her light.
She was everything I needed and craved. I learned to fight my darkness, wanted the good side of me to win, until old and new enemies threaten to take away everything and everyone I care about.
Darkness is winning and I fear the only one that can redeem me is the one I’ll end up hurting more than I thought possible.
Karen can save me, only if she beats the dark beast inside of me.
Karen
Control is the one thing I understand the most. It’s the one thing I’ve depended on to keep my fragile heart safe. That was my life until Jason changed everything. He opened up a side of me I thought had disappeared long ago, and the control I needed for so long doesn’t seem so appealing.
There’s a void, a hole left inside me now that Jason’s not by my side.
I know his demons. I know his dark beast that dwells within him waiting to takeover completely. I’ve seen it, felt it, and when the monster breaks free, I fear for everyone I love.
He thinks I can save him, but in the end, he’s the only one that can redeem himself.
This is the final book of the Worshipped Series and is not intended to be read as standalones.*
Brie Paisley was born and raised in a small town in Mississippi, and now, she currently lives in different locations, due to her husband being military. She wanted to write at a young age and was always filling journals with her thoughts and short stories. Brie started with an idea for her debut novel a few years ago, and with the encouragement of her husband and sister-in-law, she was able to write and publish her first book. When she isn’t writing, you can find her reading a good book, watching a good movie, or spending time with her wonderful husband and beautiful daughter.
This is the third and final book in this trilogy. Make sure you read them in order otherwise they won't make sense. Book one Worshipped is Riley, Connor and Isaacs story. Book two Betrayed is Karen and Jason's story. The third book is a continuation of Karen and Jason's story and happily we get to read of the characters we met in book one as well.
This story was my favourite in the trilogy. Full of suspense and some great twists that I didn't see coming. There were times while reading I found myself holding my breath. I wanted to bang Karen and Jason's head together so many times.
This book was slightly darker than the previous books. I can't believe I'm saying this but I actually liked that there were less sex scenes in this book than book two.
Great conclusion to this trilogy. I'm looking forward to reading more from this author.
Oh my sweet mother of God ... Seriously??? Brie are you trying to give me an heart attack? I guess you are because the way you finished the last book I wanted to scream. OK guys, I know that I'm always saying stuff like this but you need to pay attention. If you have not read the first two book from this series you really should because the books are all interconnected and second because this book is the final chapter of Betrayed. As you already know, and if you don't I'll tell you that Brie Paisley has a simple yet very intense writing. The way she can manage to put your heart racing and you head spinning is something else. She's so amazing that I can't find the proper word to describe her. “Redeemed” is the last part of Karen and Jason's story. And oh boy what a story this was ... They moved on from lovers to enemies to lovers again but at what cost? Their differences were a huge set up on their relationship but did they finally gave up and surrender? Can they find true happiness away from the demons that hunts them? Can danger stay away from their path for them to be able to find happily ever after? Well if you want all this answers you should start reading asap. And dayum girl, the way you started this book!!!! My god if I thought the first book was intense this then is something inexplicable. The suspense, crime, betrayal, madness are on a large scale but the love, the passion, the desire, the loyalty come shake it all. And don't make me talk of hot scenes ... OK I speak, the scenes are so hot, so intense, so crazy that you will leave with an urge to reproduce what you’ve read. Trust me, I know what I’m talking about!! There were parts of this book that I thought I couldn't handle anymore. It was hit after hit and I was so upset. I know that a good plot needs to have this type of situations but dayum Brie this was too much. Overall I loved every minute and every ups and downs, but I must advise everyone that this book is not suitable for people with heart problems. Brie Paisley I've already told you that I'm a huge fan of your work and this series just reinforced my love for you. I want more books. I want a book about the couple that are mentioned in this last book and I know that you know of who I'm talking about.
Redeemed is the last in the Worshipped series and believe me I wanted to love it. However this series kind of fizzled out for me. Im not sure why except for that I didn’t feel any connection to the characters and I wasn’t really concerned what had happened or was going to happen.
Jason wasn’t the character I wanted him to be. Of course he was charming and mysterious and all that jazz but for me there was something missing. I really cant put my finger on it but it just didn’t click with me. I don’t know if it was the story line of the monster hidden in the shadows wanting to be pulled out of his misery by the beautiful woman or what but it just didn’t hit home.
Karen was a better character for me than Jason. Her turmoil was more interesting to me and how she was going to handle Jason and his issues. She was his weakness and the one thing that could get him killed. Knowing what he does and knowing the blood that lays on his hands is nothing .. she has seen his demons and is scared of what will happen in the future.
I did love Julian and there is some drama with Frankie for sure. I also loved Zayla and Marcus along with Mason. Vincent is also one sick man but again I just couldn’t wrap my brain around this one. I tried! However if you loved this series then you will love this release and the how things pan out.
There is a very intense chapter around 95 percent into the book when everything comes to a head so prepare.
Thanks for the ARC and the chance to read. Review to post to Ramblings From Beneath The Sheets.
What a great conclusion to this trilogy. Brie once again draws you in like a moth to flame and let's you get burn before she makes you whole again.
Karen has to examine how she wants to fit into Jasons life and if she really wants to be around his darkness. Jason is trying to figure out who to trust, how to make his dark side collide with his light and how he needs to protect everyone he cares about.
I don't wanna say to much to give away what happens, but I can when end get near Brie had me shocked for a few mins. After I got my heart to beat again all ws right in the world again.
Brie you have written a beautiful trilogy and I personally can't wait to see what you write next.
HOLY MOLY!!! SON OF A GUN!!! JASON!!! I.....CANT.....EVEN!!
This is the book I have been waiting for. It broke my heart that it took me so long to finally get to it. Because Jason is one of those pretty awful guys, that you can't help but love. I fell in love with Jason and couldn't wait to get enough of him.
Jason has a darkness in him, unlike any other. It's something he has to fight against on a daily basis if he wants to keep his sanity. But there are times when it gets to hard to fight against the one thing that you were raised to do and raised to be. It has been burned, beating, and engraved into his soul. It all he has ever know. Until he finds his light. His life. His only chance at salvation and being redeemed for all the bad things he has done. Karen changes his world like he never though possible. But no matter how much he needs and wants her, life is never that easy. Especially for someone like Jason. With having already put Karen through so much, it's hard for him to understand why she wants him. But she doesn't see the real him. Doesn't see how dark his soul really is. He knows she will finally understand. But he didn't realize it would be too much.
Karen is willing to walk through help for Jason, and she does. She helps him fight his darkness and goes to bat against his demons. She sees something in him, he never even thought existed. But what she doesn't realize, is she is the one who brings out the MAN in him. She's also the only one who can help quiet the BEAST in him. Living a live with Jason and loving Jason is the hardest and darkest thing she has ever done. Her world is thrown into chaos and all she sees is death and blood. Jason's life is a lot more complicated that she thought and his darkness runs deeper than she could of imagined.
Ahhh...this couple. Oh my goodness this couple. I love Jason. I love Karen. But I want to beat them when they are together. I love them together, but I want to beat the heck out of them just as much as I want to hug them.
This one had my holding my heart and breath at the same time. There were times where I honestly couldn't deal. My heart hurt, then I was happy, then I was sad because I knew it was too good to be true. Ugh..I was all over the place.
AND THEN THAT ONE PART!!! OH MY GOD!! MY HEART BROKE!! I HATED THE AUTHOR AND THE GROUND SHE WALKS ON, AND SHE'S LUCKY SHE DOESN'T LIVE CLOSER BECAUSE I WANTED TO THROAT PUNCH HER BECAUSE SHE DID THAT TO THAT PERSON, WHO'S MY FAVORITE PERSON, AND I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT!!!! {huffs}
Good thing she fair warned me I would hate her, and I cursed her out while I could, because yea.
Yep, that was way drastic! Haha
Overall, I have absolutely loved this series. I have loved these characters and all their f'd-up-ness. I have loved everything this author has written and I can't wait to read all the other books she's gonna write. Something I'm always looking forward to. ♡♡♡
Just when I thought I figured out where Brie Paisley was taking me with the story, she threw me another curveball and when a whole nother route. There was so many twists and turns it's a wonder that I don't have whiplash! And oh the heat and passion.....
Jason has never experienced true unconditional love in his life. Karen has never fully loved a man before. Should be easy peasy, right? Think again. Once it seems like everything is on the right path for them. the evil controlling factor of Jason's life comes back threatening to tear everything apart again. With Karen's love and acceptance, Jason finally decides to trust a police detective and get rid of the evil Vincent James once and for all. But his plan (that he kept from Karen) falls all to pieces when the one person they both trust betrays them.
Can they survive alive? Will their love be enough to get them thru the dark things they are faced with?
Brie Paisley has turned this dark romance trilogy into one that I just couldn't put down. I devoured it......all of it! Can't wait to see what she comes up with next!!
Redeemed, book three in the Worshipped series continues the story of Karen and Jason from the last book. Jason has lived with his darkness for so long that he has almost forgotten what it feels like to love, and be loved, but with Karen he can’t help but want to be a better person then the monster he was for so long. With his new boss Vincent James breathing down his neck, Jason struggles to protect Karen and still do the job he is told to do. Meanwhile Karen is struggling to get her life back together when James walks back into her life, and now the pair find themselves trying to figure out who they can, or cannot, trust while working to trust one another at the same time.
This is the 3rd book in the series and PLEASE read 1&2 to have a better understanding of this book-actually, you must read book 2 before you read book 3. Just like book 2, this one took me a while to get into it. Redeemed is full of suspense. My hatred for Jason comes back with full force-although I understand why he does what he has to do. Karen depends on Jason for way to much and she shouldn't. It takes her some time to figure out how she will fit in Jason's world-which i'm not sure if I could ever do it!! But, I just love their love together.
It's said that when you love someone you can become blind to their faults and misgivings. Karen is definitely in love with Jason. His darkness is controlling his goodness, except when it comes to his son and mostly, Karen. I'm not sure if I could handle all the changes in personality. If you're into really dark romances, pick this one up. It's nice to see the occasional glimpse of light peek in. There's some crazy turn of events that you need to read to see what happens next.
This is the third and final book in this trilogy. Make sure you read them in order otherwise they won't make sense. The third book is the conclusion to Karen and Jason's story. This book is full of twists/turns, suspenseful scenes that will have your heart racing. This was great way to end Karen and Jason's story and it was a bit darker than the other books in this series.
The Wild ride continues, so much has come to light about Jason, can Karen bring him into the light away from the darkness that has been his life. Will her friends accept Jason after every thing that has happened. Buckle up there's a wild, bumpy ride ahead. Twist and turns and darkness with light at the end maybe. A great read, love this book, series and can't say enough about this little known author. I can't wait to read more from this Amazing Author.
This was amazing! Jason and Karen have come along way. I can't say I didn't love Jason's darkness. For me under all the twisted it was hot. Karen is just amazing with her ability to get through to Jason. Brie, you are an amazing writer!
Standing ovation to Ms. Paisley for the final book in the Worshipped Series. Seriously, this book is a roller coaster ride. My adrenaline was pumping so hard throughout the entire book. This is a crazy ride from start to finish that will leave you in a book hangover for DAYS!
I was ready for the final book in this series. I honestly needed an ending for Jason and Karen. I adored both of these characters so much, and was rooting for them from the get go. Jason and Karen both have demons they have to overcome, and both had to fight their way through the darkness to make it into the light.
I am not one for spoilers and believe me this book needs to be read from start to finish. I literally could not put it down. Ms. Paisley threw me for a loop more than one time. I literally could feel my heart ripping out of my chest. I wanted to scream, cry, kick, yell, and down right throw a fit at certain parts. I yelled multiple times “How could you do this to me!!!” This book kept me on edge and holding my breath so many times. I don’t think I have ever felt the relief I did when I finished. I was an emotional wreck for days. I honestly don’t think I picked up another book for 4 or 5 days. I couldn’t!! My mind was still consumed with this book. There are so many surprises and things I did not see coming. The suspense was amazing! I fell in love with Jason and Karen all over again. This was by far my favorite in the entire series, and I can’t wait to see what Ms. Paisley brings next!
Book 3 in The Worshipped series and you must read in order. Wow I'm blown away by this book. Brie nailed this one. A perfect rollercoaster ride with plenty of twists and turns to keep you flying through the pages. Redeemed is an amazing end of the series. Everyone is back Conner, Isaac, Riley, Sarah and Jason but Sarah and Jason are the main focus. If you read the first 2 books you won't be disappointed.
I. Am. Speechless!!!!!! Brie Paisley, you have done it again. Redeemed, the 3rd and final book in the Worshiped Series, wraps up the stories of Jason, Karen, and several other amazing characters. I could not read this book, this series quick enough. I experienced every emotion possible. It was a true rollercoaster ride from the start. You won't regret diving into this series!!!!
Words can not express how much I loved this book, but here I am trying to anyway. The book was a-maz-ing! To end the story this way, it's perfect. You obviously need to read Worshiped and Betrayed first. I loved all three books, but Redeemed is by FAR the best book Brie has ever written. I seriously drives me insane to know I can't life this story for myself, I'm obsessed with it, to be honest.
At first, my views of Jason were love/hate. The guy has some serious issues in the beginning and has done thing that have made me cringe, but by the very last page of Redeemed, I was in love with him, every single messed up, tormented, lovable piece of him. He loves even though he doesn't realize it, he sacrifices without even understanding the weight and love those sacrifices hold. He can be an ass at times, but his huge heart and his willingness to change all make up for his mistakes. There were times while reading where I knew he loved Karen and I wanted to scream, "JUST SAY IT ALREADY!!" In this book you will see Jason in a whole new light. The change in him is so great that I found it hard to wrap my heart and mind around it, in a good way. Change is hard for everyone, but for a man like Jason, it seemed almost impossible. Love is a powerful thing, it can move mountains and there isn't a single thing he wouldn't do for Karen.
In the beginning of Karen and Jason's story, in Betrayed, I didn't think Karen was cut out to be with a man like Jason. She seemed too innocent, too naive. She lived in her perfect world and control was the only thing that kept her calm, I would even go as far to say that she's uptight. In redeemed, she really came into her own. She's a strong, independent woman who wont stand to be pushed around. Karen is finally starting to see Jason for who he really is, not who she wants him to be. She fights for him at every turn, even setting aside her or moral values to be with the man she loves. More often than not I knew she would lie to herself about the things going on around her just she she and Jason could be together. For a while she is dependent on him emotionally. Jason likes it that way. He wants to own every part of her. Karen likes to live in her our perfect bubble and for a while it works for her. It isn't until Jason does something, until he lay all his cards out in front of her, that their love and everything that she and Jason have together in tested. Secrets and lies threaten everything she has centered her would around. Love isn't always enough. Hearts are broken, tears and blood are spilled, lives are lost. After everything Karen has been though with Jason, after her promise to stay with him no matter what the cost, is she strong enough? Can she handle the pressure when Jason's darkness starts drowning them both, or will they be able to live in her light together? You'll have to one-click this incredible story to find out, because my lips are sealed. This is one unforgettable story that you don't want to miss out on, I promise you that.
* Not a Standalone, you have to read books 1 and 2. It's dark romance with some violence scenes, so if you can’t handle this theme, then don’t read.
The stage is set, and everyone knows the truth! Jason as lived in a dark place with blood, weapons, and death, while putting aside feelings such as love and pain. He has risked his life to feed his inner monster, and it is not until Karen comes along that he enjoys the thrill. Now with Karen in his life, he starts to just his way of life and begins to have a constant struggle between his good and bad. His dark side constantly wins battles, but maybe with Karen’s help his light can win the war?
“My dark soul wants to consume you, Karen. It wants to take everything you have and snuff out your light. That’s why I stayed away. I wasn’t in control, but the more I stayed away from you, the more the beast inside me broke free. Being with you is the only way I know how to keep the monster inside of me locked in its cage.” – Jason
Karen knows what it is like to be in control, but ever since meeting Jason she has lost that control. Karen puts up a front that shows the illusion that she is in power, but without Jason there is a hole in her soul. With him gone she has to fight her own demons, and maybe she isn’t the light to Jason just maybe he already has the light in himself. Now all he has to do is reach for it.
This is the last book in the worshipped series, and I have to say I enjoyed the second book better than this one. Don’t get me wrong it was still good. We finally get the answers to some questions that were presented at the end of book 2, but I felt like the first half of the book was lacking emotion. Maybe it was just that everyone was kind of depression and the emotion leaked through the pages, but once we get to the second half things start to pick up. There are some scenes that made me say no way this can’t really be happening and others where you felt the character’s pain. Overall happy the way it ended and the twists and turns had my heart in overdrive. Series is a worth read if you want action, romance, gore and hot scenes.
Characters
Karen Keens
Honey Brown Eyes with Short Blonde Hair, Curvy Body
Jason Hamilton Deep Dark Brown Eyes with Dark Long Hair, Tall with Tanned Skin
Frankie Light Brown Eyes, Tanned Skin with military style cut hair, body covered in tattoos
Detective Mason Scott Green Eyes with Black Hair, Tall well-built man
Wow Brie really outdid herself with Redeemed!!! This book kept me in suspense the whole time. I love the ending. I hope we can see these characters again in the future.
This is the third book in the series and book one and two need to be read first.
Jason Hamilton is struggling to figure out how he can protect those he loves and figure out his next move under his new boss Vincent James. Vincent seems to be worse than his father Dominic and things are not looking good.
Karen Keens is trying to get her life back together after Jason but she is struggling until Jason walks back into her life needing help.
Now Karen and Jason must figure out who they can trust and even if they can trust each other when it comes to the choices that need to be made.
This was such a great conclusion to this series. I was expecting more of Riley, Isaac and Conner and how they were doing but they were limited but I found as I was reading that I was ok with that.
This story really looks at the struggle that Jason is facing with trying to protect those he loves and keeping out of the bad books of his new boss. Jason keeps struggling and as much as he wants to change part of him seems to be so dark that he really struggles to find the light that he gets around Karen and Julian.
Karen went through a lot this book and I felt bad for the incident in the hospital. What a shock and I was like - OMG!!! Then some of the other stuff that happened was like wow!! She also struggled with coming to terms with her actions in this book and I crossed my fingers that she would be able to maintain the light within her.
Vincent was just pure evil and it blows my mind that he was a police officer to begin with. I don't know how many officers he paid off but it was good to see Det. Mason Scott continue to try and bring him down.
This was such a great series and I really loved the moral struggles in this book! It definitely made me look at things differently!

i received this ARC for an honest review and that is exactly what your going to get!
OMG OMG OMG!!! This book is absolutely amazing. It's a roller coaster of emotions, have kleenex handy. It's full of suspense, drama, heart wrenching emotions. Brie Paisley has nailed this one to no end. It will be hard for her top this final book in the Worshipped Series, but I know she will, as the amazing author she is.
I will give you some brief things in this book, but I'm not revealing anything honestly. This is one book (series) you MUST READ!!!
Jason has only known darkness for as long as he can remember, we learn that from the other two books, but Karen is the white light Can he hold onto her? Does his darkness seep into her? Does Vincent win and destroys the only true love that Jason has ever known? Is Jason capable of love? Does Riley, Isaac and Connor have the life they want? Will the twins survive? These are some of the questions asked and answered, within this book.
I will tell you this much...the HEA doesn't come to what you might think. I really don't want to tell you anything about this book other than the only words I keep thinking is it's amazing!!!! This conclusion is everything a reader wants in a book, in my opinion. It tells the stories, gives the background and the future. Do I want more of these characters YES, but I'm not sure how it would continue, (well I am but I have to see if the author agrees) as there is so much more with this series or perhaps a spin off .. Trust me it's that good!!!
Oh .... you will get answers to everything I promise you that JUST READ IT....if you haven't read the other two in the series this is NOT a standalone.... read those and then see if you don't agree with me on it all!!!
You must read the previous stories before you read this, as the last book just left in a cliffy and there are returning characters from the book before that.... it just makes more sense to read in order as this is the third part.
So Brie Paisley left us in Betrayed biting our nails, waiting to see what would happen next, and Redeemed had me on a freaking roller coaster! Jason left Karen with Frankie to... resume her life, as best she can that is. So Karen is seriously going through the motions here, she is trying but she can't forget what has happened and she doesn't really want to, well some of it at least. Jason has kept his distance but is not really ever far from her. He is trying to work out a plan, to get them all out of this situation but for the most part he doesn't see the ending. Is there hope for any of them? Is Karen better off alone without Jason and all that he brings? Or is it already too late for Karen?
Seeing all the players come together, and all the pieces just sort of click was amazing. There is so much going on in this story that there is no way I can do this justice. This is a very dark read, with some really hot sexy times, killing of bad people and not so bad people, and some other not really good things happening. I give this 5 stars.
Five Must Read Series Stars! This is the third and final book in the Worshipped Series and must be read in order to fully understand it. The series consist of Worshipped, Betrayed and Redeemed. Jason knows that he needs to protect the ones he loves and try to figure out his next move with his boss Vincent. Karen feels lost without Jason and is struggling to get back on track with her life. Jason comes back into Karen's life and now they must figure out who can be trusted and if they can trust each other. Can Jason have his chance at Redemption for all that he is done to Conner, Isaac, Riley and most of all to Karen? OMG! I absolutely loved this book! I felt like I was on a emotional roller coaster ride with all the twists and turns! The author writes a well-written story that is full of suspense, drama, romance, and mystery. I was on the edge of my seat needing to know where things would go with all these characters. I highly recommend this book and recommend that you put this whole series as a series you must read!
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. This book was read and reviewed by Annamaria for Alpha Book Club.
This book is the perfect ending to the Worshipped series. It is a hard book to read because of the content but you have to see how the story ends. The violence in the book is not used to exaggerate anything but is necessary to the story. Karen and Jason deserve their HEA and they go through hell to get it. This series is truly about good and evil and that everything isn't always black and white but all the shades of grey that life entails. Jason had many demons to fight in this book and the worse was his childhood and what he was made into. The characters are strong, vivid, and brilliantly written. The way this book makes you feel as you read it is very emotional. You want the good guys to win and the bad guys to be brought to justice. The problem with that is what does justice entail and how should it by brought about. The story is riveting and you will not want to put it down. I highly recommend all the books in the series if you are bit bothered by the subject matter. The love stories in all the books are enticing and well worth the time to read them.
I loved the conclusion to this amazing series! Karen tries to move on with her life after Jason leaves her. She's only going through the motions though. She knows she shouldn't love or miss him. Jason's not a good person. So why does she defend him to her best friend? Why can't she stop seeing the good in him? Jason is determined to protect Karen and his son, Julian. He's working on a plan to take down Vincent, but it's going to take time. He can't live without Karen. When he calls her for help, he knows he can't let her go again. I loved the angst and drama throughout the book. Danger lurks everywhere and it's hard to know who you can actually trust. Little Julian...I enjoyed his character very much. He was smart and intuitive. He knew who was good and who was truly evil, he saw the good in his dad just like Karen did. This was an epically perfect conclusion to one of my favorite series. Brie knows how to write and does an amazing job with her books! If you haven't read these books yet, what are you waiting for? Go grab Worshipped and Betrayed now!
This is the best of the three books. Jason and Karen are apart. Jason believes that his darkness will overcome her light. He doesn't understand why but he needs her and wants to protect her with everything he has. Karen knows Jason fights the darkness within and he does it for her. Karen wants Jason even though she knows about his dark part and the beast within.
Jason will do whatever it takes to protect Karen so he makes a deal with the "devil" but everything changes so Jason has to make a choice and so does Karen. Can they find the way back to each other before it is too late?? Can Jason protect everything he holds dear and still keep it all together???
This is not a stand alone story. You would need to read the first two books in the Worshiped Series. Brie Paisley takes you on an amazing roller coaster ride during this book. I was shocked with several things but I loved that about this book. This is not your typical romance but you will get your HEA. Check out Jason and Karen's story and start the ride; you won't be sorry.
This brilliant dark story is filled with so many twist and turns and characters I literally wrote them down and their relationships. As they all come together with intensely emotional repercussions we get the to the end of the series. There is literally times when you have to put the book down and take a breath because the story doesn't give you a chance to before the next thing happens. This is Jason's chance at redemption, for all he has done not only to Connor, Isaac and Riley but to Karen and Julian. The darkness in him has led to so much turmoil to all who surround him and Karen's light may not be enough to save him. Fight he does.
An intensely emotional read that sometimes is hard to connect with but it doesn't stop you from turning the page to see what happens next. The connection between Jason and Karen threatens to swallow them both whole and the impact is felt long after the last line is read. Awesome ending to a series that grabs you from the start and doesn't let go.
Jason and Karen's story continues and we ultimately find out if Jason can be Redeemed or not.
Let's me just start off by saying that I don't think I've held my breathe so much while reading a book as I did during Redeemed. What a dark and amazing ride it was. It is so much more than one can really describe in words. An amazingly dark, sexy read. You are drawn in from page one and held captive all the way through to the epilogue.
Brie Paisley, I swear I almost passed out a time or two and I am sure I scared my kids a few times while I was yelling at my IPad. Each chapter was better and better and with each chapter I kept waiting for the "other shoe" to fall and Jason and Karen's world being torn upside down again. I would finish a chapter and yell "oh my god, what did she do?". My blood pressure probably went up and down a million times while reading - thanks a lot
