Allow yourself a new life
Good romance, well-written, combining action, love, and above all a new chance, an actual real first chance to live a normal life, without crime, without abuse.
The characters are quite moving with their past more than heavy for them.
Beam has rebuilt a life from his past as a bodyguard of a criminal in Los Angeles. He became a fisherman in Alaska. When he learns that Bellamy, the young woman he was always in love, who was under the sexual submission of his former boss, has taken refuge in a cult, he decides to seek her to offer her a new life, and perhaps a common life. At first Bellamy is frightened by this figure from the past, but she quickly discovers the dream life that Beam offers to her, but she would like to meet her father, whose identity she has just learned. Beam knows him and knows that if Bellamy has already known hell, his father is even worse.
