After what could only be described as a disastrous UniversalChildren's Day celebration, when Muslims brutally attacked the WesternHemisphere, more than 100,000,000 human beings were killed, 30,000,000 of themwere American citizens.

In retaliation for their actions, Salvador Romanero orderedthree Muslims killed for every life they took, and a thousand Muslims for everypregnant woman killed. Islamic mosques, universities, and religious trainingcenters were set ablaze by fire. Anyone found inside those buildings wereordered outside then killed by firing squad.

This was only the beginning...

Soon after the attack, Air Force One was blown out of the sky,as part of a coordinated attempt to strip President Jefferson Danforth of hispower. Only the President wasn't on board the plane with the First Lady, whenan on board explosion brought the aircraft down in a field somewhere inKansas--it was one of the President's body doubles.

Now living in hiding, as Vice President Everett Ashford wasabout to be sworn in as the next Commander-in-Chief, Jefferson Danforth wasdoing all he could to fulfill the promise he made to supply the End TimesSalvation Movement with all the resources they would need.

Without them, survival would be impossible...

But before Ashford could even take the oath to become America'snext President, a new wave of chaos rocked the nation, plunging much of thecountry into darkness. Soon after that, the situation took another tragic turnfor the worse, leaving the new President immobilized, and rendering the UnitedStates, and Jefferson Danforth, completely powerless.

With America now ripe for the taking, Salvador Romanero's goalof achieving a one world economical and religious system was one huge stepcloser to being realized. But for his ultimate goal to come to fruition, whichwas nothing short of global worship, those who would never submit to him neededto be wiped off the face of the earth.

With nearly a billion Muslims gone, it was time for Romanero toshift his focus onto born-again Christians. After them, the Jews would end upin his cross hairs...

But knowing the Most High God would soon place His seal on theforeheads of His 144,000 chosen servants, and send them out to evangelize theworld for the One they were forbidden, as practicing Jews, from reading aboutall their lives--Yeshua HaMashiach--meant Romanero's desire for globaladoration would not come easy...

WARNING: Please be advised that this installment is quitegraphic at times, due to the fact that Christians are being imprisoned andtortured. But this should come as no surprise to all who profess faith inChrist Jesus. The persecuted Church has faced similar types of torture (andeven worse) from the days of Jesus until this present age, and will onlycontinue until Christ returns for His people...

Intriguing

Obviously I like this series or I wouldn’t have made it to this book. There were some apologies posted to the author’s fans about a significant person’s illness delaying the “publishing” of this 6th eBook.
The storyline was continued and held my interest. A really negative issue I encountered was the quantity of errors. For example, the use of “coux “ instead of Coup as well as several other spelling errors that should have been caught and corrected by quality proof reading.
At this point of surviving the Great Tribulation, the sixth book, it’s beginning to feel as though the series should be wrapping up. However, getting to the end of this book revealed there are at least three more years, maybe more I don’t recall as it’s getting much more gory and has far too much detail in regards to the ‘smell of the vomit, blood, feces, blood, and urine’ produced during the tortures of the Christians. As a healthcare professional, I’ve dealt with all kinds of bodily fluids and parts, but the details of using the electric torture devices was over the top.
What I did appreciate was the liberal use of valid quotations from the Holy Bible and the source of the translation. The Biblical quotes are sprinkled throughout as points of reference. The characters use scriptures to support and encourage others and themselves in The LORD, and I find this to be so very desirable. I have been challenged to look many of them up in my Bible as well as my You Version App. I’ve found this to be the most important aspect of the entire series. So, on that note, I thank the author.

Highly recommend

I waited until after I'd read the first 6 installments of this series before leaving a review.
I read the complete Left Behind series several years ago. Even though I knew there were discrepancies from what the Bible teaches us, the overall subject matter in this series & in Left Behind are correct.
Considering this is referring to events not yet happened & the nature of the human race, NO HUMAN can foretell "exactly" how these events will occur only that they WILL occur & that they'll occur soon!
That said, I encourage everyone to read this!

A difficult but necessary book to read

You won't look at the end times the same ever again. If this book doesn't make you run to the Lord and get His assurance of salvation, I'm not sure what will. It is both terrifying and convicting. And it definitely doesn't make you want to be left behind after the rapture occurs!

Profoundly Prophetic

This series is beyond believe in capturing what is yet to come upon the world once Yeshua takes the Bride of Christ home! I would highly recommend all believers to read this series!

I wanted to like this series, but…

I was drawn to this series because its basis is the Biblical event of the Rapture and what followed. And the initial idea that the Rapture occurred just as the opening kickoff of the Michigan-Ohio State football game in Ann Arbor took place sealed the deal for me. But as the series has progressed the writing has gotten progressively worse. I’m not referring to it not adhering to any one view of Biblical end times theology…it’s a work of fiction, so I’m fine with that. What bothers me is the author’s seemingly inability to write a consistent narrative. I don’t know if he simply can’t remember what was previously written, or if he was depending on an editor that took the day off, or if there was AI assistance, or what.

Here are a few examples from this book.
1. One of the main characters who was a nurse, was asked to go to the hospital to help with a heart attack patient. Two pages later she was seated and waiting for the Christmas Eve service to begin, but shortly after the service she entered the cafeteria with news of the patient.
2. People arrived before the Christmas Eve service said, We have enough deep-fried turkeys, cooked hams, and all the fixings to feed everyone.” Yet after the service one of the main characters noted that “the aroma of ham and turkey baking in the ovens was so scrumptious.”
3. Another character was killed by a suicide bomber, but it later says that he instead committed suicide.
4. Two of the main characters used the alias of Henriksen to protect their identity, but at the end of the book the author refers to them as the Gundersons.

Yes, I could go on, but I think that’s enough. There’s also numerous cases where significant details just appear out of thin air so that the author could justify some other equally improbable occurrence. Such as the sanctuary being unheated in the winter, but there were numerous space heaters in storage that could be pulled out for use. But the same building had been soundproofed so that noise of the services wouldn’t be heard by anyone nearby. But each of the other 250-300 buildings on the property had heat available. And each of those buildings had 4 pairs of night vision binoculars stashed inside…a detail dreamed up when 4 of the characters needed some to determine who some unexpected visitors were.

Perhaps what bothers me in a book doesn’t bother you, in which case you might enjoy this series. The story overall is interesting. For me, I find things like this so annoying that I don’t know if I will complete the series or not.

Excellent

I enjoyed reading book six because its characters remain likable and believable. Even the evil antichrist was true to form making me very sure, very sure that I want no part of him.

I’ve liked the series so far, even though I’m not sure I agree with his eschatology of the end times events and when they will or how they will happen. I’ve noticed several spelling and grammar errors in each book, but this one had more plus the use of wrong names or other errors. For example, Xanax is a Benzodiazepine, not an opioid. Also, he wrote when talking about Marta, Leticia’s mother, and referred to her not being able to take care of her daughter and GRANDDAUGHTER. Leticia had a boy not a girl. These kind of errors were seen throughout the book, including the epilogue. Barring these errors the book held my attention and the series has been intriguing. I agree with others that there was a bit too much description of the torture Christians suffered, so much that I skipped over those parts all together. I look forward to the next books to see where he takes the series and how he believes end time events will play out.

Excellent series

I am looking forward to the next books in the series. Even though the series is fiction, truth from God's Word is woven throughout.

Another excellent book by Patrick Higgins

The prophecy will be fulfilled. The AntiChrist can't wait to start his wrath on everyone who doesn't comply with his demonic forces. Christians, Muslims and more will be killed but babies will be safe. Why?

I devoured these too fast

This a great story on the Rapture. I can't wait for the remaining 6 books! Hopefully before the Actual Rapture occurs, but then I won't care about reading the remaining books, as I will be experiencing it for myself as a Christ follower!

Even though I'm really enjoying this series, this book got continually hard to read as I went on. The graphic details of the torture that Christians were put through turned my stomach. I think the author could have relayed the atrocities without being so graphic.

A Must Read

A continuation into the cruelty Christians must endure during the tribulation as they stand strong in their faith. A must read.

Good book and series! I was pleasantly surprised to find that the story line isn't at all like the Left Behind series like some others, but is fresh and interesting. The books grab your attention immediately and don't let you go. Best of all is that the books are definitely Christian fiction. The characters that are Christian show what having Jesus as your savior looks like in real life. God is part of every page of these books. Since they're about the Tribulation, Satan is also well represented in the books. You soon see that everyone is serving either Jesus or Satan. I'm almost at the end of the series and everything has been scripturally sound so far. I'm sure the rest will be too.
I did find a couple of minor things that I don't agree with. The main one was the idea that children 7 and younger could take the mark and be lost forever. For one thing, there'd be no reason for them to have it, just as children today don't have credit cards or check books. Second, they're too young to be able to make a decision for either Christ or the AntiChrist. Third, God doesn't send children under the age of accountability to hell. Since book 7 isn't out yet, I don't know if he will use this idea further or not. Hopefully not, but even if he does, it's still a great series.
The only downside to the books is that they're a little short for my liking. I think it would be better if he made every 2 - 3 books in the series into one book. This review will be on each book in the series.
Another good point about this series is that it shows what the Tribulation will be like very realistically. I know that many seem to think that a judgment will happen, people will clean up after it, and then things will go back to normal - kind of like when a tornado hits somewhere now. They seemed to think that except for during the short times when a judgment was happening, everything would be fine. This series puts those lies to rest for good!

The Sealing

This KU library selection continues the end times story of a group of Christians living in an increasingly hostile world after the Rapture of Christ's Church. It is very graphic in it's portrayal of the fate of born again Christians under the world takeover and absolute control of the antichrist. Salvador's depopulation goal is accelerating worldwide due to starvation and disease, yet the general citizenry continue to believe his lies that all is well, or will be when all Christians and their books have been destroyed. But the worst is yet to come.

Horror

I don’t really know what to say about Patrick Higgin’s Book 6. You made me smile, then horrified me with what I believe is truth. I cried through this book for my unsaved family and the characters in your books that have become my family. This is unvarnished horror, hence my title above. Pray for me as I pray for you Patrick. Keep fighting the good fight. God is with us.

Interesting.

I have read the first six parts of this series. It is very interesting that this series comes out now in 2020. I believe that many Christians everywhere feel that Christ's return is not too far away. As this series says, we as Christ followers, must be sharing His message. This series is fictional but has many biblical scripture references and makes readers really think about the message contained within.

slowly developing with each installment

This was a better installment than number 5. However, it is interesting that Higgins makes most of his characters fearful and weak and the main character Brian is such a beta male that you almost want to root against him. Everyone seems to crumble in the face of opposition only to somehow stand strong in the end, as if it is a last moment realization that to be dead is to be with Christ.

Not the same as the first five

Number six was harder to read. The author was more descriptive with the tortures used than was necessary. Yes, it will be bad. However, when he had a couple married earlier all he wrote about their wedding night was that they consummated the marriage. Adults are reading this book not children.

Another Page Turner

I love this series, but the one part that turned my stomach was the abuse inflicted on the Christians. Then I considered that what is described in this book is probably mild to the reality they will face during that time. I shudder to consider it. I can't wait for the next book to have my questions answered.

I liked most of the book but I could have done without some of the graphic torture narrative. It's going to be very bad enough with out the mental picture to go along with it. It would probably make it more effective to the lost if they knew just what they were looking for.

Wow

All i can say is wow. This book went more in depth than any of the previous books. Thank God the author led with a sensitivity warning before this 6th book began. There were definitely some parts that were hard to read. Just to imagine what life will be like for tribulation saints is mind blowing. I pray that God helps me to be a better witness and be bold.

This series keeps you on the edge of your seat. I loved reading these books. Loved the Scripture references . I would recommend everyone to read this series which tells what can happen after the rapture. Please do not wait to ask God to save you. Chaos in the Blink of an eye :Part Six:The Sealing

Another good book continues on with the Christians a number of them being captured and torched in prisons by sadistic guards. And the Two Witnesses turning the 144 thought Jews from the old Jewish teaching
