Ngl, these couples are really lucky to find each other, and I liked that they waited their whole lives for it. I can’t imagine reading my shifter's romance any other way! 🤭

This is the fourth instalment of the Bear Clan series and I have to admit this is my guilty pleasure I am loving these stories.

Asher is desperate for what his brothers have managed to find and craves the happiness that they are feeling but so far his mate has alluded him to the point he has almost given up hope of ever finding someone. Thinking that it is time to focus only on his business he was never expecting to find Ainsley when pricing up a job. She is the one that was made for him and he and his bear are ready to claim her as theirs but holding back so he doesn’t scare her away is harder than he thought. Will she accept him and his bear and can he hold himself back from claiming her?


Ainsley has been drawn back to Blue Bear Bridge for years knowing that she would always settle back in the place that she visited as a child. Packing her life away and moving across the country may seem strange but she was a loner and a writer can write anywhere. Arriving at her new home she meets Asher and the feelings that rush through her are like nothing she has ever known or ever thought existed. Is it possible that she has found her forever?

Fantastic read as always from this author and cannot wait for the next brothers story. Safe, fast and steamy.

I really love this series of shifter brothers. Reading about each of them finding their mates never gets old and it’s always smutty. Asher and Ainsley's story was quick and steamy. I’m super excited about Cason’s story!

This is the first book that I have read in the Bear Clan series and it won’t be my last. I am going to go back and devour the first 3 books in this series. I loved reading about Asher and Ainsley. You are able to see the struggles that Asher has in trying to fight the need to claim her. It was a short, sweet and really, really hot story.

Absolutely love this series!! Asher is afraid that he'll be alone forever. As one of the oldest of his brothers, he has yet to find his mate and has pretty much given up. Until Ainsley moves to town. When they meet, it's so intense. When they get together, it's even more so. Can't wait to read about the last 2 brothers!!

Well this was super short. Felt like there was more story setup than actual story. There is literally zero character growth as it’s basically an insta-love without any context due to his being a shifter and the fact that they are fated mates. The characters first meet and Asher runs away from her, literally, claiming his fear of losing her is stronger than his mating instinct. About a day and a half later he comes to his senses, rushes to her house and after probably less than a total of thirty words spoken between the two and they are having sex. The end. It’s makes the first 25% seem a waste since so much setup wasn’t really necessary and it would have made more sense to spend time with the characters actually together. I don’t know what it isn’t, I still love these books but it’s as if each book in the series is becoming shorter. Knowing she’s a writer and buying a fixer upper could have been stated matter of factly rather than spread a across a number of pages.

Asher ha estado perdido y enfadado desde que tiene que ver como sus hermanos han encontrado a sus compañeras y él sigue solo. Por eso cuando lo llaman para hacerle una reforma a la cabaña de Ainsley no sabe que le sucede para tener esa urgencia de decir sí. Pero lo descubrirá pronto cuando se encuentren cara a cara.

Esta igual que las anteriores ha sido muy buena historia. Siempre me quedo con la penita por los otros hermanos que todavía no tienen compañera. Asher y Ainsley hacen una pareja bonita y me alegro de que por fin sea feliz ❤️. Como siempre os digo es una historia cortita, sin drama y con final super feliz!

Love bear shifters and love it even more if they're both virgins. This is book 4 of the Bear Clan series and is about Asher and Ainsley (love those names BTW)

Asher i felt so bad for him watching his brothers have their mates being around the happy go families,  and being one of the oldest he hasnt found his.. bitter, jealousy but he foes feel a pull when a new person buys a place he bas to fix up. Ainsley is sweet and kind and starting a new chapter jn the woods she also has a pull towards this town and Asher when she sees him but feels like he doesn't like her since he left like she set him on fire..

Brothers love to kick you and set you straight i can't wait to read cason story.. i wonder if he'll be more bear or human..

No ow/om drama, no cheating, sexy time, secondary charas, virgns

Argumento:

Desarraigar mi vida, comprar una cabaña que se estaba desmoronando y mudarme a la mitad del bosque podría no haber sonado como la mejor idea, pero para mí era casi la perfección.

Supongo que esas son las ventajas de ser autora... hacer las maletas y mudarme a cualquier parte del mundo, porque mientras tuviera una computadora portátil, estaba listo para irme.

Lo que no esperaba durante este nuevo comienzo era el hombre que había contratado para renovar mi lugar: Asher, el carpintero de osos. Me hizo sentir cosas que nunca antes había experimentado; cosas que me emocionaban, pero me asustaban.

Lujuria, deseo y todo tipo de inmundicias, una chica como yo probablemente no debería estar pensando en un hombre que ni siquiera conocía, reproducido en mi cabeza.

Pero había algo más que excitación en lo que a Asher se refería. Lo sabía en mi corazón.

Aquí estaba yo, en mis veinte, nunca había estado con un hombre de ninguna manera, y todo en lo que podía pensar era en estas cosas obscenas que hacían que una virgen certificada como yo se sonrojara. Y cuando Asher apareció en mi puerta durante una tormenta, empapado, luciendo salvaje, diciéndome que había tratado de mantenerse alejado pero no pudo, supe una cosa con certeza. Estos no eran solo sentimientos ociosos que estaba teniendo.

Mi humilde opinión:

Asher ha perdido toda esperanza de encontrar a su compañera predestinada. Es el mayor de sus hermanos y viendo lo felices que son con sus parejas se siente celoso y amargado. Siente que pasará sus días trabajando y solo hasta el final.

Entonces recibe una llamada de un hombre que necesita que restaure una vieja cabaña para una mujer que se mudará pronto. No quiere hacerlo, tiene mucho trabajo pero algo dentro de él le dice que acepte ese trabajo.

Ainslyn es escritora y vuelve a su hogar. Su familia había vívido en el pintoresco pueblito montañoso de Blue Bear Ridge, Colorado cuando era joven. Estaba emocionada. Sentía que volvía a su hogar.
Ella contrató específicamente a la compañía de Asher para la restauración, no sabía porqué pero lo quería a él! Lo había visto antes y a sus hermanos y sabía que era cambiaformas.

Cuando va a su cabaña se encuentra con Asher tomando medidas y se siente inmediatamente atraída hacia él pero a él no le toma ni dos segundos alejarse de ella dejándola fría.

Asher está luchando, al fin encontró lo que siempre buscó y lo echa a perder huyendo. El miedo lo superó. Pero ahora hará lo que desea, reclamar a su mujer.

A medida que avanza la serie se pone un poco mejor. Sigo la serie de esto hermanos porque se me metió entre ceja y ceja verlos encontrar sus HEAS! Y si bien sigo deseando que hubiera más profundidad en los personajes, sigue siendo para mí una lectura rápida y entretenida.

Asher me desconcertó un poco con sus reacciones pero enseguida saca su oso listo para reclamar a su pareja.

4 home renovation stars!

I read all four of these bear shifter books in less than a day, one right after the next and I enjoyed each one. (I have to wait a few more weeks for the next ones in the series to come out)

This one seemed to be the fastest for the female character to fall for and get together with her alpha male, possessive, bear shifter. It was love at first sight for both of these and it was hot! :)

Being tied inexplicable to a shifter meant undeniable, irrefutable, proof that you were meant for that one person. That your soulmate was out there, that other piece of you that you never knew was missing until it stood right in front of you.
And that's how I felt.

Asher has grumpily accepted that he might never find his mate, which is something every shifter fears...finding that one person that completes you. When he receives a call about a renovation for an Ainsley...his bear and him sit up and take notice😁

Another awesome book in Jenika Snow's Bear Clan series. This is Asher's and his mate, Ainsley's story. Short, sweet but really hot, this book sucked me right into the story. Loved it and the struggles Asher went through before he finally realized that he needed to claim Ainsley. I can't wait for the next book. I just love this series!!!

3 stars. The series as a whole is pretty repetitive, with some better than others - this one has some unique points, and is probably my second favorite of the bunch.

Here, our leads are lonely bear Asher (brother 4 of 6), and his fated mate Ainsley, an author newly relocated to their small mountain town. Unlike his brothers, Asher has kinda given up on the whole mate thing. He even avoids Ainsley after being called to her new house for construction work! Of course, that's now how fated mates work, and he's soon back to claim his mate.

Another with a bit of plot to the fated mates storyline. Asher has seen shifters broken by not finding their mates or by losing them once they are found. He's decided that it's not worth it. Unfortunately, Fate has decided that Asher will indeed get his mate. So there's a good bit of back and forth on his end trying to come around to accepting Ainsley, and on Ainsley's side too. She feels the bond, but if it was a mating bond, he'd have stuck around and not run off, right?
So we get to see both leads coming around to accepting what they feel between them. The epilogue is still a bit on the generic side - lots of love and baby cubs - but it still didn't feel quite as cookie-cutter as the first two (or the 5th and 6th, for that matter).

Still has that obnoxious method to 'build tension' with nothing actually happening - just wasting pages as they (basically) stare at each other and think in circles before falling into bed. Still here, but not as many pages here. More time spent with Asher trying to accept the bond in the first place, rather than just that weird foreplay that these bears all seem to favor.

Alternating 1st person POV. No cheating, no love triangles, no OW/OM drama. Very little drama at all, just OTT instalove fated mates. Dual virgin leads (nice change!). While short OTT reads can be nice, light, mindless escapes, this series can tip into predictable, formulaic, and nothing much actually happening. I don't need high drama or high angst, but really, very, very little happened in the individual stories. Still, HEA and epilogues, and while not a cliffhanger, the next brother was introduced.

Would I read more? It's not badly written, but there are short SPN romances (even OTT instalove Fated Mates ones) that have a bit more meat to the plot and stick in the mind a bit more, seem less interchangeable. But hey - free Kindle find, so maybe if there are more Snow books free on Kindle, why not. Like I said, it wasn't bad. It just wasn't a great or unique series, and there are other authors I'd go to first.

great book, great couple, great read
Asher has given up on finding his mate and decided to just go on with his life and continue with his Restoration Business he started. He has grown bitter and resentful watching his brothers find there happiness, while he becomes more isolated.
Ainsley just purchase a old cabin and moved back to a small town she once lived in when she was younger. She always knew one day she will move back, and that time has finally arrived. She knew her place needed restoration work done and there was only one company she knew she wanted to hire..
Asher realizing Ainsley is his mate he surprised he finally found her, but nervous and both to sure what to do. He tries to hold off meeting with her fighting his feelings and delay the inevitable. Not able to hold off long a big storm happens and Asher knows he needs to be with his mate.

Asher cambiaforma de oso restaurador de construcciones y Ansley escritora que quiere desconectar del mundo vanal se va a vivir a una cabaña en ruinas y adivina adivinador inador quien va a restaurar la cabaña ?? Asher.... son casualidades pero el se da cuenta que ella es su pareja y la marca.
En esta ocasion me parecio algo gruñon Asher y algo acelerado porque la queria marcar por todos los agujeros....dicho asi ... se dejo y todo bien ... felices comiendo perdices... Next !!
ahhh.... Asher es hermano de Zakari, Maddix y Oli de los libros 1 2 y 3 y quienes ya tiene su pareja.

I enjoyed the 4th book in the series. I liked that Ainsley was a writer. Something different from the other girls. Asher was a carpenter. I liked that he worked with his hands. These two met under renovations for Ainsley new house. They had a connection. It was a lovely read and full of excitement.
