Another great addition to the series. I know that most people really read this series because of the smut and not so much of the character development and plot development. But I think I’m really enjoying the balance of the two. It really gives a full and clear picture of what it’s like to be in a relationship. So we get that sexual side but we also get that weird and quirky side where our characters are trying to figure out how to date each other and how to navigate their feelings of being in love. There is an introduction of an ex in the series that plays a heavy role on the heroine’s side of things. So, I’m really interested in seeing how that’s going to progress in future volumes. Overall, I still think this was a solid addition to the series and I’m looking forward to picking up the volume four.
My sister asked me if there was more plot in this volume than the last one. I was forced to remind her that most people don't read this series for the plot.
(But yes, there's definitely more plot, albeit not as much as volume one.)
Aaaaaand we’re back to questionable consent a majority of the time. 🤦🏻♀️ If we could just get Ryo to get on board with the kink or Souma to holdup/not push when the stop sign comes out, then this would be a cute 5 star read, but no! We just can’t seem to get a consistent, happy love story going. I’ve already pre-ordered vol 4, but if the next one doesn’t turn around I’m gonna have to drop the series.
Alright. I’m obviously enjoying this enough that I went to buy this volume and volume 4 today, but that doesn’t mean I think this series is perfect 😂
Honestly I just don’t get the need to have Souma be so pushy when it comes to sex. He’s always trying to say how she likes things that she never actually verbalizes that she likes. She’ll still end up enjoying herself while it’s going on, but there’s just a lot of hesitance going on. I’d rather she just go all in.
I do, however, really enjoy the plot. I like seeing what comes up for both of them at work. I liked the tension here because of the dangers of his job. I also am just generally interested in Ryo’s job too! I just find it interesting 🤷🏻♀️
All in all, y’all know I’m going to keep reading 😂
This one was a spicy fun time! I'm enjoying seeing our main couple's relationship develop. Though, I didn't really like the interloper ex-boyfriend storyline. Still, a fun read.
Was seinen körperlichen Proportionen nicht ganz entspricht.
Today's manga post is on Fire in His Fingertips: A Flirty Fireman Ravishes Me with His Smoldering Gaze Vol. 3 by Tanishi Kawano. It is 160 pages long and is published by Ghost Ship. The cover has Souma on it. As it is the third in the series, you need to have read the first two volumes to understand the story. The intended reader is someone who likes romance manga between adults. There is no mild foul language, sex and sexuality, and no violence in this manga. The story is told from third person close of the two main characters. There Be Spoilers Ahead. From the back of the manga- “DON’T RUN AWAY FROM ME, NOT NOW…” Despite herself, Ryo has finally let Souma in. They’ve confessed their feelings, and now their awkward love is blossoming into something deeper, body and soul. But it’s not easy being a firefighter’s girlfriend! First Souma’s job threatens to interrupt everything, and then who should show up at Ryo’s workplace but her ex-boyfriend, Rei!
Review- Now that Ryo and Souma are now in a official relationship, they are moving along nicely. They are having some minor issues but they discuss things like adults. The next bit of drama will be from Ryo's ex working with her on a project. The characters are growing in this volume, with their communication skills and years of being friends, they know each other well. It will be interesting to see how they handle the ex and the trouble he is going to be bring. The art continues to be excellent with the love scenes adding to the story, helping to build the relationship with Ryo and Souma. I look forward to seeing what is going to happen next.
I give this manga a Four out of Five stars. I get nothing for my review and I bought this manga with my own money.
Good morning right now this is going to be a spoiler review. Honestly, if I could give this book a score every be 3.7 stars. Because I absolutely hate the side character. That is the ex-boyfriend. I hate him. I hate him. I hate him. And nothing can justify his attitude and his need to talk to the heroine of his book. I genuinely am ready for Ryo to stick it to him and be like leave me alone. Because he feels like he’s flirting with her and she’s not exactly denying it in the whole lipstick scene with your piss me off. I hope that this book has a beautiful and happy ending because if she ends up with the other dude, I literally will take all these books to Bookmans and get rid of them. I wish I was joking.

I enjoyed this...but maybe not as much as the previous volume. I had hoped at the end of Volume 2 that they had overcome some of their insecurities...but this volume felt repetitive and like we were going backwards. I like the introduction of the ex boyfriend...but nothing at all happened with it...I would like to know what happened in the past there so hopefully something with that plot comes up in the next volume.
I wasn't as big of a fan of this one as the first two. I felt like their relationship stalled a bit and I wasn't in love with a few of Souma's choices and the way he treated Ryo. We get an ex-boyfriend of Ryo's brought in that I am curious about. I would definitely read more in the series, though this wasn't a favorite for me.
mostly smut and some setup for the next volume - I’m curious how Ryo’s ex is going to play into this. also Souma needs to act like a guy with a girlfriend, damn, that scene at the bar was right on the edge of him being a total fuckboy for real lol.

Well hello!! There is some actual character growth here and smidge of drama and plot!!! I mean dont get me wrong I love the smut, but Im also here for some and conflict !!! So lets buckle up and see what happens!!
The illustrations in his book are super spicy and I really will only be reading this series I think for the spice some of the character issues get a little frustrating so they’re not my favorite but I really enjoy the characters and there’s sexy time so I will continue
