What a beautiful collection of Canada! I have read this several times, a few with my children too. McLaren has such a talent, not just as an artist but a writer too. She captures Canada in such a magnificent way! The art is stunning and makes me want to see more of this beautiful beautiful country I call home but also the poems are filled with individual histories and stories. It's a great read not just for adults but my kids love learning and visualizing other parts of Canada as well. Such a treasure!
